Round Nine - Park II

-
Last Round - Simon was in his own new townhouse. He immediately started his romance Sim antics with lots of dating and woohoos. He opened a modern art gallery called BRIGHTHAUS.

Simon’s round starts exactly as he’d want it to - a ride on his stationary bike (he’s into Fitness) and then calling up Alyssa for a date out at a community lot.

Simon is such a hardcore commitment-phobe, he’s rolling fears about marrying Sims he barely knows and has had no romantic interactions with.

The reason for Simon’s date outing was two-fold - they met at the Happy Tails Pet Store so he could get a cat! Meet Parsley!

While Simon and Alyssa have an impromptu dance party in the middle of the pet store, Parsley gets up to some hijinks.

Parsley’s first order of business is to luxuriate in rolling around on the pavement, right in the doorway, blocking everyone’s path. Clearly the “how to cat” instructions were downloaded without issue into his brain.

Simon and Alyssa moved their date to a venue more appropriate for dancing, and Parsley scoped it out first to make sure it was safe for them.

Back home, Parsley settles in, and tries his claws at some redecorating.

Pet ownership seems to agree with Simon, he’s already wanting more!

Parsley continues to be filled with rage and ennui. Hopefully it’s just a phase, I don’t think Simon’s furnishings can take much more of this,
(I also noticed at about this point that I’d put the wrong pet eye defaults in when I switched my downloads folder! These ones are beautiful too, but I’m very partial to my usual ones, so you’ll see that change again.)

Back out at Club Gerbit again, Simon continues looking for eligible ladies to court. Hollie looks like she’d just like to get inside and out of the rain.

Simon takes a break to refuel.

Before I can even take stock of what’s happening, Paloma walks in and by way of greeting, Simon plants one on her - and she seems into it.
Back story - Simon and Paloma dated as teenagers, but when Paloma aged up to adult ROS immediately paired her up with Gabriel (the father of her coming child), who is also one of Simon’s very best friends, as he lived in his household as a teenage exchange student.
So yeah, this complicates things a little!

Things continue to heat up between Simon and Paloma… oooh boy. I kept wondering who might walk in there that would bust them!
His ROS for this round was to be a bad influence and I’m gonna go ahead and say this scenario actually covers that pretty well…

Perhaps regretting some of his decisions that night as the morning dawns and he’s still at the club, Simon downs an espresso and then heads back home to sleep it off.

In the morning, a special package is dropped off for Simon… but he’s still in bed, sleeping off the night’s adventures.

Finally up and out of bed, Simon takes some time to just chill at home! And field some calls from his many love interests.

Simon decided to check out that weird lamp thing on the porch - it really paid off!

Simon had Alyssa over for a visit and employed his standard greeting - the usual reaction happened.

The date was interrupted by another giant sack of simoleons falling from the sky.

Simon is really happy with the new sculpture he acquired for the gallery.

However his sales techniques do still need some work I see!

Simon continued to completely fail to sell one solitary thing all day, and despite this he was getting loyalty stars left and right and ranked up. Soo… good?

The great thing about a modern art gallery is you can accidentally leave a coffee cup on the floor and it just looks like an exhibit.

This time a relaxing night in for Simon, and for Parsley, whose eyes are back to normal now!

Starting off his morning with a bike ride and a healthy omelette!

Before he opens up the gallery, a little recreation! Just like his mom!

Simon opened up the gallery and tried really hard to make some sales, but the customers mostly just looked confused and lost.

Turned out one of those confused customers was a reporter, and he liked what he saw! So despite another day of zero sales, somehow Simon managed to rank up again?

The customers prefer to have pillow fights instead of purchasing.

Simon was rolling wants about Hollie after meeting her at Club Gerbit the other night, so he invited her over for a date. Things progressed quickly.

The date went great, and Simon ended up inviting her to stay the night. However Hollie also is a romance Sim, so she doesn’t seem like she’ll be wanting a ring anytime soon or anything. Which will suit Simon just fine.

The next morning Simon was confronted by his landlord because his rent was two days past due. I guess that’s what happens when you’re too busy breaking hearts all across town!

Not content with finishing his round without yet another date, Simon invites over Hiroko. She greets him with a big kiss rather than the other way around for once, and they move things onto the couch.
This day does conclude Simon’s round for now!
