Round Eleven - Webb-Ainsworth

Last Round - Hollie was out in her own place! She spent a lot of time calling and inviting boys over. Her dad stopped by to check in on her and see how she's doing. She opened up a beauty salon called A Little Off the Top (with some success and some.. not so much). One of her dates, Callum, came over and one thing led to another... there were chimes!... so he moved in and joined the household!
A customary start to any round is a woohoo!
Something Hollie was saying must have sounded strange to Callum.
Hollie's into music and dance, and I never buy any of my Sims this synthesizer, so she got to be the one to check it out!
Callum liked it too!
What's with the stinkface now?
It's time for baby!
All the screaming shook Callum up.
*screams in recessive genetics* So exciting! This is baby Leah Webb-Ainsworth - all her colouring is thanks to recessives - she has red hair like her grandma Geneva, and dark green eyes like her grandpa Daniel!
Callum's come around from his shock and is so excited about his baby daughter!
Lil temper on this one!
Rudely interrupted from their couch woohoo by a dirty diaper, both of them leapt up and started scolding Leah lol. Parenting 101 courtesy of two romance Sims.
While Callum looked after the baby, Hollie went to do some work at the salon. She's finally able to hire an employee, so Megan here will be looking after one of the chairs!

Hollie isn't having as much luck as her new employee is today.
Nevertheless, the business ranked up!
It's a good thing she hired Megan that day or she may have lost ranks rather than gained them.
Back home, Callum's romance Sim tendencies are starting to assert themselves.
They were mid-canoodle on the couch, and I didn't even notice at first that Hollie had gotten home, and gone straight for the synth. I thought she either hadn't noticed (Sims can be pretty oblivious) or perhaps I had the jealousy settings tuned down low enough (I thought I had, because two romance Sims...) BUT:
It was a delayed reaction but she did, in fact, catch him in the act! Agnes looked completely unbothered lol. She's also a regular customer in the salon so it will be interesting what happens the next time she tries to come in there...
Hollie was furious with Callum, so he was relegated to sleeping on the couch that night.

She went out to the grocery store to clear her head after that whole scene, and basically autonomously kissed the first townie she saw! Guess she really wants to get back at Callum.
So she asked Chester out on a date, and they moved things along to the pool.
Right in the middle of her date with Chester, she rolled a want (and a fear) to marry her old flame Simon. Sorry honey he's married with a baby now too? But I don't put anything past these Sims honestly...
Back home, with the place to himself again, Callum continues to behave badly. Whatever, as long as you keep the baby fed and changed...
Another lady wooed.
But before I can blink, Leah is growing up!
Here's her little personality! Very outgoing and active - she is going to grow up to be a popularity Sim! Another thing she inherited from both of her grandparents.
Here she is with a bit of a makeover!
Callum had to spend another night sleeping on the couch.
Hollie stayed up late reading in bed, while Leah snoozed in the cot.

I think it's a bit creepy, but Leah loves this thing!
They have barely spoken in days, and Callum made his first move at reconciliation. At first Hollie seemed receptive!
But then his next move was rebuffed - perhaps she felt that was just a moment of weakness on her part and thought better of it.
Poor Callum - but sorry dude, you really dug this hole for yourself you know.
Eager to distract themselves from one another and introduce some friends to Leah, they threw a party.
Poor still-bald Ezra was there. I really wish he would show up at the salon again so she could try to fix him - unlike makeup you apparently can't fix this on townies.
At the end of the round, it seems Hollie's mind is made up - it just can't work out between the two of them. They were never overly committed in the first place, being two young romance Sims. They made a beautiful baby girl together but for now, they're better apart.
Callum seemed to sense what was happening because he came and sat next to Hollie as soon as she picked up the paper.
Maybe one day life will bring these two back together, but for now she's out of there...
Since her dad Daniel is on his own now after her mom passed away, Hollie and Leah have moved back in with him for the time being. He's glad to have them there!

I have a mod that fixes the baby scolding, so it was funny to see it again XD How dare you poop in your diapers??
