Round Sixteen - Duncan
Last Round (in the Webb-Ainsworth household) - ROS had Elijah being grumpy and picking fights. Callum was stepping out on the marriage again but Hollie didn't care at all, so I think they officially have an open marriage. Leah had her first kiss with Miles Park. Scout passed away :( Elijah aged up to an adult, and he tried getting a date through the matchmaker but they seemed more suited to being friends than lovers. Callum got assaulted by several past and present girlfriends while on an outing downtown. At the end of the round, Hollie aged up to an elder, and Elijah moved out to his own apartment!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Opted to skip the family tree for Elijah for now, since it would be pretty barren, he has no relations in Brightmaple! Elijah Duncan joined the town as a teenage exchange student, being hosted by the Webb-Ainsworth family before moving out on his own once he became an adult.

I love the little astro-turf patio on this place!
The second bedroom is devoted to music, since that's his passion. He brought his drumkit from the Webb-Ainsworth's house!
The very first order of business was to send Elijah out to get a cat! Meet Tofu!
Elijah picked up a few necessities for his new little sidekick.
He's currently redecorating outside btw.
He bumped into host-sister Leah outside the pet store too!
Back home Elijah prepared lunch for himself and Tofu.
Getting in a jam session on the drums. Tofu is a polite audience.

That seems lucky!
Elijah wanted to get out of the house, so he headed downtown to the cineplex.
He seemed to be hitting it off and had some chemistry with this townie Digby, who is also gay (or perhaps bi) so that could be promising? They got comfy on the sticky movie theatre floor and chatted for a while.

This music and dance lover had to get on the karaoke machine!
He still wants to get to know Digby better the next day!
Quality time with Tofu.
Today, the key word is business! Elijah needed to take out a loan, open up a store and get his business venture started. It's been a long time since Brightmaple had a musical instrument store, but it's back! This is his new shop, Rhythm Section.
It's extremely bare while Elijah builds up a customer base and some cash flow.
But it has good future potential!
Fellow music lover Sally Woods was the first customer! I know how little money your family has Sally, I'm not sure how you can afford anything here...
He put out a snowcone cart as a grand opening welcome gesture for his customers, but I guess that no one was interested in it at all! He sold it back before he left to recoup the expense.
How much pocket money do your parents give you??
A good witch blessing on the grand opening, hopefully that's a good omen.
Maybe it is!
He gets the first business rank by the end of day one - yay!
At home, Tofu is sharpening his hunting skills.
Adela Blondeau-Dias ran into the lobby to stretch mid-jog.
It was a little late when he got home, but Elijah called up Digby to chat and tell him about the first day of the business.
It's a hot night, a quick dip in the pool will feel nice!
A nice frosty toaster pastry for breakfast, before it's off to work again.

Back home later, a townie friend invites Elijah out and he decides to go!
It was a bit of a guy's night, they stopped in at Cork + Cask for dinner and drinks.
The waitress was telling spooky ghost stories to the customers.
Another dip in the pool on a hot summer day, the pool was more slippery than expected I guess!

He invited Digby over to hang out!
However somewhere along the way they went from having some chemistry, to negative chemistry? UGH. Poor Elijah, it's seeming hard for him to find his person.
Tofu is always there to comfort him though.

Lots of Park family members came in today!
A rank every day, this is going well! He is paying back bits of his loan while also expanding the inventory selection in the store.
Tofu dreams of chasing rats which will finish out our round here. Lots of getting established for now, and we'll see next round how Elijah's life progresses.

I missed playing this type of business, it's pretty lucrative! I do hope he has more luck soon too, it can be kind of hard for gay Sims to find their person sometimes! Kind of got to get lucky even bumping into them! Might need to save a little money for the matchmaker again, he's family secondary so he might start getting the urge before long.

Honestly, I don't think that snowcone machine is enabled for autonomy, I had similar issues with popcorn machines, I guess it works the same 🤔 I don't remember if I fixed them or not 😅
