Round Eighteen - Blondeau-Dias

Last Round - ROS made them very wealthy, $250,000! Sabrina and Adela will split the money if they ever stop living with one another. They had a birthday party for Mickey when she aged up to a child. Sabrina was seeing various guys, Adela's romance life is somewhat quieter at the moment. Mickey got a womrat named Pigbert.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Adela's parents are Paloma Blondeau and Gabriel Dias. Her dad was originally an exchange student living with the Park family. Her maternal grandparents are founder Ines Blondeau and her husband Noah. She is an only child, but has several cousins through her aunt and uncle - Chandler, Anya, Sabine, Marceline and Clementine. Adela had her daughter Mickey Blondeau-Dias with townie Ronald Noble - she's Brightmaple's first generation four Sim!
After their big lottery win last round, and with the lot they were living on becoming extremely buggy, I decided it was about time for Sabrina and Adela to go their separate ways. Adela and Mickey stayed downtown, and Sabrina did too! But we'll see her round after Adela and Mickey have their turn.

Mickey looks after food for Harry, while Adela is making a sweet treat! The ROS was actually that Mickey would have a sweet tooth this round, basically just eat mainly desserts, but I did end up forgetting about it a lot...
She got to enjoy it at the start at least!

There was an extra bedroom in this house, which Adela has turned into a really zen yoga space.
Well, mostly zen.
Mickey is literally dying of boredom when she gets home from school.

She joined them for dinner, and Adela made drinks.
Mickey went to her room to do her homework so mom and auntie could hang out together.

Adela is off to Maple Mills today, because she is opening up a brand new business! This is Align Yoga Studio!
This whole place smells like sage or sandalwood probably.
The class area. I had to get help figuring out how to tinker around with the yoga mats so they'd function the right way at an OFB business, but I finally got there!
Since the yoga mats were not actually working right at first, no pictures of the first day - it was pretty much a flop!
But Adela wasn't gonna let that ruin her day. She went home and called someone up for a date!
It was townie Rory, who despite being generally a very grumpy guy, she has pretty good chemistry with. And Adela is a serial romancer so she's not too worried about long term compatibility. Although they were definitely getting along quite well here!
They did have some misaligned wants and fears.
But they still had fun :)
Rory couldn't make it through the date without being a little grouchy though.

Nathan Perry had come off the bus with Mickey, so they played in her room.
He came downstairs looking for the dog at an inopportune moment while Adela and Rory were still in the middle of their date.

After her date left, Adela cooked burgers for the kids.
They worked up an appetite with cops and robbers.
My mom really likes going on dates!
Mickey thought this would be hilarious.
Nathan... not so much!
They still parted on good terms though :)
Homework gets finished in the morning!

Off to the yoga studio today, with some more yoga appropriate clothes!
Unfortunately the tweaking of the yoga mat was not quite finished at this point, so still no pictures of this place running as it should. But at least Adela got to enjoy some yoga herself!
She called Rory to chat when she got home.

Perfect time to hang out playing her video games.
Mom's off to work for another crack at this.
We finally have some success - Jasmine Dionne joined the yoga class! (however the fine tuning was still not done yet - I don't think I got any more pictures of her business, but after this I got it working exactly as wanted on my tester lot, so I expect to see much busier classes next time I play her!)
Back at the house, grandpa Gabriel was babysitting, and a townie girl was today's guest. For such a shy Sim (she only has one point) she sure brings home a lot of guests!
Harry hangs out in the kitchen while grandpa cooks dinner.

Playfulness is a trait I strongly associate with the Blondeaus, and they're no exception!
Dad is here! Mickey wanted to go ice skating, and I thought while it's winter that would be a fun daddy-daughter activity. But it turned out to be an impossible hassle to make that outing work from the perspective of her household, so in the end Adela tagged along to daddy-daughter day lol.
Off to a strong start...
Everyone did have a nice time though! They're really good at co-parenting :)

She had nice timing, as she also would get to enjoy some cake - tonight was Mickey's birthday!
Mickey is a fortune A (hard worker) who likes Sims who are business sharks, are infamous, and are not introverts. Seems like she likes someone a little opposite from her, since as a very shy Sim she probably qualifies as an introvert. She's not particularly nice though, with only three points, and she doesn't seem to care if a potential partner is either lol. But the business shark desire tracks, as a fortune Sim! I'm using Pforest's turn on replacements these days.
Here's our teenager! Gosh that was fast!
Since her own daughter is now a teen, I thought it was time to give Adela's look a little update too. I remembered about these bangs accessories I downloaded a little while ago, so I was able to give her a custom kind of hairstyle!
Mickey's hobby is gaming, and with the cozy gamer kit having just been converted, I knew who would be the perfect Sim to test drive all of this!
I think she really enjoys it!
I did have to move it over a bit because it wasn't accessible where I originally put it. Love how it came together though - I loved her kid bedroom too, but in the end she didn't have a ton of time left to enjoy it in that state.
That's it for their round his time. Adela kept chatting with Rory, we'll see if anything materializes next time for them!
