Round Eighteen - Georgison

Last Round - Lola became best friends with Caleb Woods! Simone went on a date with Cameron Perry. They had Simone's sisters family over to visit, and Simone was working hard at Club Gerbit.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

Simone's mothers Valerie and Zelda were the first entirely new household to be added to Brightmaple back in round six (not counting exchange students who joined other households). They had two daughters, Simone and her older sister Carla. Simone has inherited the family home since both of her moms have passed away. Lola Georgison, a first cousin once removed, joined the household thanks to an orphan relation ROS, making Simone her legal guardian!






The ROS they got for this round was holding a torch, which means rekindling a romance with whoever their first romantic partner was. Theo was her first kiss, and although arguably she never actually put down that particular torch, nevertheless that's what we'll be doing!



Simone wakes up to find helpful Lola cleaning up last night's dishes.





While they were having breakfast, a genie lamp was deposited at their front door!



Once again I decided to switch up Simone's look - I like this hair best for her of all so far!



Then she went off to get some new clothes - I think this whole look really works for her!



One more stop on the way home to get groceries.





Stopped to have a chat with Sabine!

Lola wants to make a wish on the lamp, I will wait til she's a teen though!



Lola has arts & crafts hobby, and I decided I wanted her to focus on fibre arts, but I was disappointed at first to find that kids could not use the sewing machine! But luckily the very talented Tvickiesims helped me out big time by creating a little mod for me that lets kids use it too. Crisis averted! The animations still look pretty good too.



She gifted her very first potholder to Simone.

Simone tries to encourage Lola to be more sporty but I really don't think that's her thing.



Simone went out to enjoy some sporty stuff on her own at the Cypress Sports Field and who does she bump into but Theo!





She challenges him to a shoot out.





Drat!









He beats her, but consoles her with a backrub after.





Taking out her frustrations on the broken faucet.



Simone called up Theo for a date, since the chance meeting at the field didn't quite fulfill the ROS in my mind!



Elijah showed up uninvited and hopped into the hot tub? Simone had to send him on his way since she has a date coming and they might want to uhhh... use that.

However, that's still not gonna stop him. Theo has an interesting relationship with monogamy (he does not have one).



Like I said, they needed the hot tub.



Lola is still sewing away!



Theo joins the girls for dinner too.

Club Gerbit unfortunately was glitching, I tried to send her there several times but it was crashing every time on the loading screen. But it was one business I had it in the back of my mind to renovate for a long time anyways, so Simone sold it so she could buy a new lot and rebuild Club Gerbit, newer and better!





A little money from the genie will go a long way to helping out with that too!



Wow, I sure wish I could find a genie lamp too!





Simone spent a little time goofing off and doing pleasure Sim stuff too.

Simone's sister Carla and family are here to help celebrate, because it's Lola's birthday!

Her best friend Caleb was also there to cheer her on!



Lola has the popularity A (friend of the world) aspiration, and she's into guys who are artistic, animal lovers, and are not expressive (in the traits adapted turn ons mod I use that means not excitable, childish, a party animal, dramatic, over-emotional or a diva).

Here's our cutie Lola! I wanted her look to be sort of artsy, almost hippie. I thought she'd look cute with blonde hair but the pink and purple streaks were even better too! And I think the top looks like something she might have made too, I downloaded it specifically for her to use.





All the kids immediately found the bubble blower.



The local burglar heard about their genie windfall.



But luckily, the alarm was in perfect working order.







Out of bed just in time to see the burglar being put in cuffs.



Time for that rebuild of Club Gerbit! I took the opportunity to move it over to the new shopping district, Maple Mills. I haven't been sure about what to do with the empty spaces as I gradually move owned businesses from Brightmaple to Maple Mills, because I do like having the one area of Brightmaple as community lots and businesses, with the residential lots in a different section.

But now I'm thinking I might make a few small-medium apartment lots, possibly move one or two that are already there, into that section. Those would fit better in the commercial zones of the town than just regular houses, and give more housing too!



Anyhoo, as you can see we went for the converted warehouse/factory vibe with this iteration of the club!

Upstairs is pretty bare for now because she only had so much money, and I didn't want to take any loans since she had all the money from selling the old business plus the genie money.

At home Lola is still keeping busy on her sewing projects.



And keeping Smudge entertained.



Lola got to make her wish!



Savannah wandered by the lot and waited around for Lola to finish with the genie.





She invited her in afterwards and she went straight for Smudge!



They're only related in my imagination but I do think of these two as kind of like cousins.





They went out to the roller rink, and Lola got herself a cell phone - important for a popularity Sim!





Simone entertained herself at home!



Lola went downtown the next day to see the Community Arts Centre.



Tried her hand at some pottery.



But of course, sewing is her favourite!



Caleb's brother Jacob was there, so she said hello.





But they did not get along at all!



And then the evil witch showed up and started it hailing - it's time to get out of here!





Simone wanted to have Theo over one more time!



For very specific reasons!



Lola chatted with Caleb on the phone later. 

Ugh, I bumped into your brother Jacob - what a jerk!!





Another night at Club Gerbit, the bartender has a customer waiting!





Simone is ready to call it a night it seems.



Making a little profit, yay!



While Simone was at work, Lola had some friends over for a little party.



Savannah and Caleb of course, plus Kenji and Felix!









Gotta have pizza, of course!



Lola and Caleb caught me by surprise, with a first kiss!



And immediately afterwards falling in love! I didn't picture them together (and until recently didn't even know if they'd have compatible sexual preferences or chemistry) but it's super cute that they went from childhood besties to teenage loves!







Everyone else was having a fun time at the party too!



And Lola is feeling serious about Caleb already.



A good time had by all!

I feel like the prior generation of teens had a lot of kind of mean jock romance Sims with lots of drama and cheating/non-monogamy, and this generation feels kind of like the art and drama kids in overall vibes.

Lola and Caleb are both into the arts (Caleb does photography), Kenji is a singer (trying to be anyway) and Felix is a ballet dancer. Savannah is into soccer (although I'd honestly be open to changing her hobby since it doesn't feel super connected to the rest of her personality) but she does have the hopeless romantic aspiration which still fits the theme I think.



Simone got home and enjoyed a slice of pizza for herself.



Got into those pajamas just like she wanted.



Off to sleep, and that's it for their round!
