Round Eighteen - Harrison-Legault

Last Round - Travis had to get abducted because of ROS, and he had an alien baby daughter named Celeste! Starla also became pregnant and is expecting her and Travis' child together. They expanded the house a little to accommodate their growing family.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Starla's grandparents were founders Dahlia and Sawyer Harrison. She has one brother, Theo. They have a cousin, Veronica Rossi, through their aunt Marina. They are also associated with Brett Woods (courtesy of Deedee!) as he was a teenage exchange student at their home starting when Starla and Theo were quite young She met and got engaged to townie Travis, who had an alien baby named Celeste, and she is now pregnant with their child too.
I finally remembered to use tattoo overlay boxes! I thought both of them suited them quite well so they got a few.
Travis likes them!

Very quickly it's time for a Bathroom Baby!
Welcoming their son to Brightmaple, this is Shane Harrison! As I mentioned in the last round, I decided (since they aren't married) that Celeste would get Travis' last name (Legault) since technically she's only his, and Starla's kid would get the Harrison last name.
He's got red hair from Travis and brown eyes from Starla!

Stuck at home looking after the babies while Starla is out, Travis stakes out the front yard waiting for walkbys he can pickpocket.

Sadly no one came by to pickpocket so no money was made this day!
Starla got home and did the honours for Celeste's birthday!
What a little cutie she is!
Extremely lazy and extremely nice! She's going to be a Knowledge A (good scientist) aspiration when she's older, with Pleasure A (modest enjoyer) secondary. I'm just calculating both at once now (even though they still get assigned at teen and adult age respectively) since it's easier. And I like to know.
The potty training begins.
Townie Mallory dropped by. I was a little nervous if something would happen in front of Starla - I have spotted Travis fooling around with her when he was not playable before! But they did behave themselves.
We found a puddle!

Mom Angelie came over for a visit! She watched the kids while Travis and Starla went to work at The Orange Zone.

While granny is distracted by her puzzle toy, Celeste is contemplating the toilet.
Got to her just in time!
But after her nap, she's right back to it - she will not be deterred!

And Shane aged up to a toddler also! He looks so much like his uncle Theo to me it's wild!
He's got a very opposite personality from his half sister - super active, very grouchy. His aspirations will be Popularity B (public enemy) which is the same as uncle Theo also, and Knowledge B (evil scientist).

Travis heads to the grocery store (so maybe that's not where Starla was earlier??) and gets a little pickpocketing done here too. Sorry Trevor!

Starla was getting dinner started when Theo came by, Travis invited him in.

Starla's moms popped by while Travis was juggling looking after both kids.
He cleverly invited them in and used his powers of persuasion to get a little extra help around the house.

Excellent! I've been trying to remember to have popularity B Sims use their influence points for kind of self-serving, questionably manipulative ends more often.
But they got to visit with the grandbabies so they got what they were coming for too!
Success!
Today Starla is staying home with the kids.
Travis is getting down to serious business with his pickpocketing. He headed downtown to a nice busy lot full of unsuspecting Sims - the library!
Many, many victims!
Even Starla's aunt Marina!
Then Mallory showed up on the lot too!
He had this want, so... he tried it. And of course she said yes!
They moved things over to the pub, and of course the photo booth was their first stop....
Ummm ok I didn't know she was that serious. He is already engaged actually?
Meanwhile outside, Sabine and townie Rhys were also making use of that photobooth.
UMMM, you're already engaged?!?!
They ended the date as it was getting pretty late, and he snuck in one more pickpocket of poor Jalil.
So... my wheels were turning. I was really very surprised to see both of them get engagement wants. Especially Travis since he is already engaged to Starla. He got the go steady want after the date ended too, so it wasn't just one of those "during the date" whims where they reroll wants after and it's like they entirely forgot who that other Sim was. Honestly, I was surprised their whole fling even started (autonomously) cause Travis is not a romance Sim!
Then I saw his fear of Mallory becoming a witch, and it made me wonder - what if he doesn't like that Starla is a witch? What if it's coming between them?
Back home, Starla is none the wiser of what's going on.
Penguin spotted!
Starla answered a prank call, which said this.... the wheels in my head kept turning. Was it a sign?
Travis came home and Starla immediately jumped on him.
Where have you been? You left twelve hours ago, it's the middle of the night!
Starla went for the nuclear option in her anger, and pulled out the voodoo doll.
Travis did not like that one bit.
Realising that perhaps this is not the healthiest path forward for either of them, or the kids, Travis suggests that they should go their separate ways.
So, big old changes for this family! Travis and Celeste have moved out into an apartment, and Starla is staying in the house with Shane.
This is the first time I've had a real breakup/divorce (sorta, they were only engaged) of a committed relationship like this I think. It's a little sad especially cause of the kids, and I loved their little household. But sooo many signs were pointing that this was the direction their story was going, so I just had to go for it!
