Introducing Brightmaple!

Welcome to Brightmaple!
This is a semi-BACC inspired Sims 2 neighbourhood.

The Basic Details:
- Five founding households
- Five day rounds (one season at a time)
- No money cheats
- No standard jobs
- No non-owned businesses (community lots such as parks are OK to be unowned)
- No aging cheats, including elixir of life
- ACR in use
- ROS rolls for (almost) every round - my own list compiled of other people's ideas plus some of my own
To begin with, there are no subhoods, and except for the family that owns the grocery store, no grocery delivery. There are no maids, gardeners or repairmen. When those things may be allowed or added is undecided for now, but probably after a certain number of rounds. I allow burglar alarms and smoke detectors (and therefore fire department and police) without having to earn them in any way. Kids attend regular school.
I don't use money cheats in this neighbourhood, but I also don't use the mayor/taxes/loan system of normal BACC's. My method for helping my Sims buy and fix up businesses (since that's one of their only possible sources of income besides painting and digging up the yard) is my own improvised loan system provided by the Faceless Bank of the Simgod (me). I use "kaching" to provide however much of a loan they need. When they are able to pay installments back, I purchase an item worth whatever amount they want to pay back, then use the Stuck Object Remover to delete the item (doing it this way does not provide a refund). This method works well for me!
So that's the basic breakdown of how Brightmaple is organized and run - hope you enjoy reading the adventures of my silly Sims!
**One last very important mention - a huge thank you goes to Deedee for her beautiful Griffinmere BACC. It provided huge inspiration to start up a town like Brightmaple in the first place, and further inspiration to catalogue it on a journal style format. Thank you so much Deedee!
