Round Thirteen - Blondeau-Dias

Last Round - Paloma and Gabriel bought nice new outfits to go out on a date downtown at Nigiri House, for Gabriel's upcoming birthday. Meanwhile Adela invited over Theo Harrison, and had her first kiss! (he seems to be the go-to first kiss dude around town) The Orange Zone kept easily winning the most fun business to run award. Gabriel had his birthday and became an elder! Paloma adopted a stray cat named Duchess, but her and Miso didn't get along and Duchess ran away for a few days.



"Two households cats, both alike in dignity,

As we can see, Miso and Duchess continue to not get along AT ALL.

Paloma at least is a ray of sunshine and her usual tickly self!





When she had her undies hairdo I realized that somewhere along the way she had lost her eyebrows? LOL And I am pretty sure I never deleted any so don't know how that happened. Fixed it after though!



Let's see if age does anything to mellow out Miso's bad attitude!



Their kitchen got a teeny makeover although it's really not very different. The colour scheme and layout are essentially the same, but they got a new stove and different cabinets, and some more clutter stuff.



AND a citrus rug, of course.



Adela is her own biggest fan and her own harshest critic.







Working on his fall garden!



This genie lamp was still kicking around so it was time to use those wishes!



Uhh.. you're in the wrong lamp sir.

Paloma ended up rolling to wish for the ability to cheat death!



Then Gabriel took his turn. He got to wish for....



Money! Absolute sacks of Simoleons! $$$



Adela headed out to explore the town and ended up at her uncle Isaac's arcade.





Starla offered some pointers on pinball.



Lucy, Brett Woods now-fiance, invited herself in to the house. Apparently the long ago casual relationship she had with Gabriel means she feels entitled? LOL eeeek.. gotta keep her busy so nothing happens. Some drama is fun, but... this is to be avoided.



Paloma got her into a game of hoops as a nice distraction.





And I kept Gabriel busy with his garden! Time to harvest those beans!



Paloma got a nice call from her niece Sabine!



I wasn't able to avoid all interaction between Gabriel and Lucy, but luckily instead of any ACR shenanigans, Gabriel just tried to show Lucy the chest thump gesture and she was confused. I got her out of there after this rather than push my luck any further.

Life can be nerve-wracking when half the town is an old flame for your romance Sim!



Just Duchess being pretty, so we can see a pic of her in this round where she's not getting in a fight.



There's a chill in the air in fall but no snow yet, so still enjoying the patio while they can.







Adela got home from her outing and joined her parents.



She got to make the last genie wish, and hers ended up being for a long life. As I don't allow wishes like this to actually affect the lifespan of anyone teen and under, I readjusted her age and made a note to add four days to her lifespan once she is an adult! She'll be in the group that ages up with an already increased adult lifestage, so we're gonna see Adela for a very long time!





Time for some work! Gabriel opens up for another day at The Orange Zone.





Adela got brought along too, and tasked with the grunt work. Her dad insists it builds character. Well, at least biceps anyways.



She does manage to find time for some more enjoyable activities while she's there too.



Back home Paloma is enjoying one of her favourite activities, bathtub piracy.





That evening she invites over two of her best friends, Alice Park and Whitney Perry.





They're here because it's Paloma's birthday! I thought a pinata suited her personality perfectly so I stuck one outside for her to enjoy.



Despite the fact that feathers come out of the pinata XD this is such a fun object!



And at the end she busted it open and gobbled up a bunch of candy.

Why do you two always have to ruin things?



The next day Gabriel and Paloma went to work together, but before I could even get them to open up they decided that some hanky panky on the couch was in order first.



Now that that's out of the way... Gabriel intimidates poor Elijah into becoming a customer.





Alyssa joins Paloma at a game of Don't Wake the Llama!



Yay! Even more money! They're quite comfortable now between this and the genie money,



This was about the point I installed the new height mod, look at cute little Mia! So tiny!





Whitney came by to visit again! I also got Paloma some earrings which I think really suit her.



I sent Adela out to get a new outfit, something a little warmer for the colder seasons.



When she came out her path crossed with Ewan Menzies, and since she always has a "go on a date" want (romance Sim) she worked her charms...



They ended up taking things to the arcade.



Not sure how into him she is... while she was on her date with him, she was thinking about her next date already lol... one thing at a time Adela!





They had some snacks and took some fun pictures in the photo booth. Overall it was a fun time but I don't think the start of any kind of great romance!



As we come back to the house, Miso and Duchess are in yet another fight, and Duchess runs away again -_-*



Gabriel calls to report her missing, and that's where their round is ending up for this time!
