Round Ten - Lewis

Last Round - Roxanne and Joshua opened a new business, a nightclub called Club Gerbit. They went on a family outing for bowling and lunch. They had a birthday party for Emily, and Xander's girlfriend Emilia hooked up with townie Jay in the hot tub when no one was looking! But then, right after Emily aged up, her and Jay kissed and then woohooed! So they started dating each other, and Joshua really likes him. Then, Emily became pregnant! So Jay joined the family, and they moved out on their own at the end of the round.
Roxanne and Joshua woke up in the morning at the start of their round, snuggling!
The ROS was for a secondary aspiration, which Roxanne rolled for, and the aspiration was family! Which is perfect because that’s Joshua’s primary, and they do have three kids. :)
Quiet Saturday morning for them - Roxanne played her drums in the garage, and Joshua ate some omelettes.
Ziggy got Joshua to come out and play some fetch too!

They invited over their daughter Emily and her boyfriend Jay - Joshua is still a fan of his son-in-law!
Roxanne said a little hello to baby in the belly!
This little stray dog let itself into the house and started chewing on Ziggy’s toy - he had no idea what to do about it!
I wanted to pass along Club Gerbit to Emily so that Roxanne and Joshua could retire. I hadn’t yet discovered there’s a mod to let you transfer lot ownership to people outside the household, so I had Roxanne sell the lot, then buy a bunch of random stuff that totalled that value, and gift that to Emily so she can buy the lot. ;)
So at least it gave a cute photo op! From now on Emily (and Jay) will own and operate the town nightclub, Club Gerbit!
“I heard the Watcher is going to build a downtown and the buildings are gonna be huge, like this!”
Joshua has no idea what she’s talking about.
Jay serenades them with his poor guitar playing.
Roxanne shows off some of her witchy skills - why walk when you can teleport?
She also casts a spell to make sure all her daughter’s motives are fulfilled so she’s comfortable!
The kids are gone, so there’s time for some canoodling on the couch. <3
They invited over their son Xander next to visit, but his girlfriend Emilia couldn’t make it with him unfortunately.
Mother and son shared some saucy gossip!
I always forget they have a ballet barre in the house - of course Roxanne is very talented with it!
Roxanne kindly compliments Xander about, something! He must miss the hot tub now that he’s moved out, so he soaks himself in there for a while!

I have no idea where this bag of money came from lol? They haven’t had a genie lamp since round seven (this is round ten) and when I loaded the lot, this corner was totally empty, probably because I deleted the shrub that was there.
So I had added that big shrub right in that corner, and there was definitely no bag of money hiding there. But all of a sudden I noticed it sitting there! LOL So Roxanne scooped it up - I think it was a kind of small amount like $1000 or something.
It starts to get dark out, and it’s a cold winter night, but it’s nice and warm in the hot tub!
Xander takes his cue to exit when things start to seem a bit more romantic.
Ziggy is a good boy!
Roxanne wanted to invite over their oldest daughter Whitney, but she didn’t have the option at all when she called, only to talk? I assumed it may have been a glitch, but they did talk for a bit, including about Whitney’s new baby Sabrina, and the other new baby on the way!
Roxanne does a little more witchy practice in her garage!
More spell casting! She made Joshua fit lol.
Roxanne’s best friend these days is Beatriz, so she came over for a visit too! They’re having lots of guests these days!
Even though Joshua had so many problems with the Rossi family spying on him through their telescope, I guess he decided to see what all the fuss was about lol.
Ziggy hovered around outside the sauna forever, waiting to say hello to Beatriz! She finally came out so he could give her a nice friendly sniff, and he was satisfied.
So sadly, that night Joshua is caught off guard as the Grim Reaper appears! :( Roxanne and Ziggy are heartbroken.
Joshua Lewis - Born Round 0 - Died Round 10
So sad to see Joshua go, he and Roxanne were the first Sims I thought up and created for Brightmaple! He was a very dedicated family Sim and will be missed!
Within an hour or two of Joshua’s passing, Roxanne had managed to successfully invite over her daughter Whitney and son in law Dave. But then, the Grim Reaper came for her too…
She got down on her knees and started begging for her life!
Grim gave Roxanne a chance to cheat death, and she did it! She was overjoyed! So were Whitney and Ziggy.
Unfortunately having the power to cheat death doesn’t give you the power to not burn your food.
Roxanne was going to take advantage of the extra time she won from the Grim Reaper, so her and Ziggy hopped in the car and headed to the Town Centre Park to enjoy a day out.
She greeted Noah Blondeau when they arrived!
Ziggy got to play some fetch at the park, and Roxanne showed off on the stage too.
Her daughter Emily was there, and she was covering her ears because of a yowling dog trying to sing along to the other instruments lol.
Back at home, it’s snowing outside, and inside Roxanne gets into a saucy romance novel.
Roxanne heads outside to build a snowman in the backyard, as the evening slowly draws on.
As night falls, the Grim Reaper is back to collect Roxanne after she had bought herself an extra day!
Roxanne tried to cheat death again, but this time her luck ran out. Grim set her up with a suitcase and a fruity drink, and took her away to the afterlife.
Sad to see my two original founders of Brightmaple gone now. :(

Laid to rest at the cemetery next to her husband Joshua! They were the two original founders of Brightmaple, the first Sims I thought of and created, and teased when I was beginning to post about it!
So this is the last Lewis round, or at least in its current form. Whitney's household is now Perry, Xander's is Lewis-Dionne (and I get the feeling they may not marry) and Emily's is Lewis-Gill. I think Emily and Jay may marry but I'd like them to keep the Lewis name going so they might end up being the new "Lewis" household at some point.
