Round Twelve - Park-Crosby

Last Round - They got a little patio makeover, and kept at it working at Park's Market. They wanted to get another kitten really bad, so Kimchi has a new friend, Pebbles! Sadly sweet Nana died this round. :( Right after, Kimchi became an adult cat. Still no babies for Winnie and Oliver this round.



So I got a little creative with ROS this round... I had already been thinking I wanted to send someone on a trip in this round... and earlier I rolled the vacation ROS, but it was for a family with kids too young to go, and I don't like to leave anyone except pets home with the nanny! So I assigned that roll to Winnie and Oliver, a child free couple who can go on trips whenever they like! So as soon as their round started, they called up the airport shuttle and headed out!





They arrived in Pinecone Peaks and decided to rough it a little by staying at the campsite! Tents and campfires!



Oliver is excited!



They didn't have breakfast, so they were pretty hungry! Time to head over to the Thirsty Ranger Pub and get some lunch.





They enjoyed the atmosphere and the fresh mountain air on the patio.





Winnie did her cute little shy dance too!



And learned some slap dancing techniques from the local folks!



They stayed for a long time, until after dark, but time to head back to the campsite now.



All that dancing worked up a sweat - luckily there's some shower facilities at the campsite, although the privacy leaves something to be desired.



There's always hot dogs to be had around this campsite so food's not an issue!



Time to tuck in for the night!



This tourist showed off the cool chest pound gesture that everyone is doing.



Winnie caught on fast, with gusto!







Time to head out to some shops and make sure they come home with souvenirs!



In the middle of the shop, Oliver also learned the slap dance!



They wanted to go on a tour, and it paid off for them with some skill points! And no bear attacks!



Testing their skills on the axe throwing range.



Fierce concentration.



She can't even look!



And there's a clear difference in outcome between their two techniques lol...





Back at the campground again, this tourist guy serenades Oliver on the bongos while he eats his hot dog.





As the night draws on, they build up a campfire and enjoy some time slowing down, sitting around the fire and chatting.







The fire burns out but they still feel chatty apparently, they just climbed into the tent, turned on the flashlight and kept chatting for a couple hours before they went to sleep! Talking about how the hot dogs are great and all, but a real breakfast would be pretty nice too...



The next morning, they seek out a proper breakfast!





Well, Oliver gets an omelette - Winnie has a sweet tooth I guess, and gets a nectarine tartlette!



Another tour trip, and they lose that logic skill point they got yesterday before they've even had time to appreciate it!



Winnie wanted to buy some jewelry, so she picked out this lovely bracelet at one of the shops by the restaurant.





They were ahem... drawn to the photo booth at the back of the lot.



It didn't take long for a crowd to form when the photo booth started rocking!



LOL Oliver was feeling quite good afterwards!



But unfortunately it's time for them to get back to real life after a fun and relaxing getaway in the mountains!





As soon as they arrive back home, little Pebbles ages up to an adult cat!





Oliver immediately tried persuading them to try out the pet house....





And it works! We have chimes, and kittens on the way!



Just noticed Pebbles has this cute little beige leg.



Back to life in Brightmaple, and time to do some work at Park's Market! They expanded the store a little and added a small florist's section!





Darius was the first customer to come check things out.





The customers loved the new floral section, and overall it was a good day at the store.





Kimchi took advantage of some breakfast that got left out on the counter while they were at work. Might as well at this point, it will spoil now anyways!



Pebbles is napping thanks to her pregnancy. Or maybe just from being a cat, who knows!



They had extra rooms in the house, and I thought Oliver might like a little "man cave". He's into sports and he's a knowledge Sim, so it has sports paraphernalia and bookshelves lol!





Shoving your head into the trash to fix the compacter - nice!



But something went wrong!



Ouch that looks like it hurts!





Nothing like a near death experience to make you really feel alive - Winnie chest pounds and shouts at the sky as soon as she realizes she made it!





Just try not to cause any accidents with the stove too Winnie!

Her sister Alice came over to visit with them!





Nice day to relax and chat in the hot tub.



Before the round ends, gotta get in another woohoo as well! No chimes still though, these two might never end up having kiddos, maybe that's just their plan for life!



They had just tucked in for bed and I was about the leave them as this was the end of their round, but just in time...





The kittens are coming! I thought I'd have to wait til next round so that's really cool!



The kittens all have their mom's fur colouring! Although we will see if they have long or short fur when they're older. Chowder, the only boy, also has her yellow eyes.



Jellybean and Popcorn are both identical - mom's fur colour, but both have dad's green eyes! Maybe they will have different fur length when they're older? We'll see!





I watched a little more kitten cuteness before it was time to save and leave this household for the time being! Will have to think about where all these kittens will end up in the neighbourhood...

Maybe they don't have babies (yet), but they have adorable fur babies!
The vacation destination looks really good! And it's nice they enjoyed their time there!
