Round Fourteen - Silva

Last Round - They got a chinchilla named Herman. Mia became an adult, and rekindled her teenage romance with Carla. Gloria also had a birthday and became an adult too! She moved out at the end of the round to her own place, and later in the round when it was Carla's turn, Mia moved in with her.



Right at the start of the round, Beatriz is ready to retire! She gets a nice little chunk of change for selling the Snack Shack back to the community.



And what better way to spend that cash than a vacation? Time to go!





Her and Michael headed to Pinecone Peaks for a little getaway together.



The souvenir stand caught his eye right away.



Beatriz already knew the local gesture which has spread like wildfire through Brightmaple over time, so she was eager to show that off to the other, presumably less experienced tourists.



They were drawn to the log rolling game for a bit of a physical challenge.



Poor Beatriz fell in at least three times! 





But Michael didn't manage to stay completely undefeated.



There was a whole crowd of people slap dancing to the outdoor speaker music here, Michael wanted to learn it and tried to join but everyone sort of disbanded as soon as he showed up, so he didn't get the chance.



Off for some food at the Thirsty Ranger Pub!



Enjoying the sunshine out on the patio.



They ordered for themselves and both chose crepes :) Now I too want crepes...





Back in their hotel room Michael does a little reading, before they get to bed.





Another morning and they head out to Firgrove Square to check it out!



I guess they're still enjoying the brisk morning air so they also eat on this patio today too!







The locals are really friendly and they end up chatting with this guy at a neighbouring table too.





A successful tour!

They went to Pinecliff Pond next and Beatriz tried a little fishing.



They chatted a bit more with friendly locals and/or fellow travellers here too.

Before they headed home at the end of their trip, Michael made sure to get that souvenir he'd had his eye on!





Another tour but this time it didn't go so well - they lost the logic points they'd gained only a day before.



They had to go back for another meal at the Thirsty Ranger.





I remembered just now to add their secondary aspirations! Michael is Knowledge B/Fortune A and Beatriz is Knowledge A/Pleasure A.



He finally got his opportunity to learn the slap dance!



And Beatriz too!



Now they're finally back home in Brightmaple, and their picture is up on the wall.



Greeting Herman again.







Can't sleep so she's up reading.



The new souvenir takes its place next to the sea glass one from Coconut Cove.

She's full of inspiration after a relaxing trip, and whips up some culinary delights!





They had their daughter Mia over for a visit, and Michael was very proud to tell her about their trip and show off their latest souvenir.







Enjoying that lovely meal together.



But then someone had to come try and ruin it!!



Beatriz apparently had the chance to try and win her life back.



And it worked!



She was very proud to have defeated death, a real achievement for any knowledge Sim especially.



So Beatriz has a new lease on life for now!



The next day her and Michael used her precious extra time to go on a date to Downtown Heights.





They did some skating (falling) and ate some yummy food at the stand.



Kiss kiss!



Whitney came by to visit!





Another uninvited guest stopped by again too :(





She pleaded once again, but I really thought she wouldn't get another chance.



But Grim let her try her odds once more.



And she won again! I really had no idea you could plead for your life (and win!) twice like that if it was old age as the cause of death!



But apparently you can, and Beatriz is feeling very much alive (see the chest pound!). So she's survived another round and will be here til next time. :)
