Round Thirteen - Silva-Flores

Last Round - Kitty Marmalade passed away :( They decided to cheer themselves up by taking a family trip to Coconut Cove. Gloria didn't roll any useful wants so she was kind of grumpy most of the time. After they got back home they did a little work to keep things running at the Snack Shack!



Gloria's up early to play video games.



And then it's off to school for both girls!



They felt a lack of furry cuteness in their lives since Marmalade passed, so they adopted little Herman the chinchilla here (thanks to ROS).





Time to get some work done at the Snack Shack!



Alyssa got a raise which made her happy!



Rhys is trying to be diligent so he gets one too.



Alyssa has a lot of cooking skill so she actually got to take a turn on the stove which is unprecedented, it's always been Beatriz cooking!



Of course it was raining (it is fall) but luckily Sims are impervious to rain and it didn't affect their patio dining.



Naturally as soon as they closed for the day, the skies cleared up!





Herman and Mia meet!





The next day the girls come along to help out at the business. Gloria does the hostessing.





Yay!



Mia does waitressing and she has a few problems....





Beatriz working on her food blog.



Herman got moved downstairs because I realized the sound of his wheel was keeping Mia up at night since she's a light sleeper!



Gloria and Mia got out of the house for a little while to hang out, ending up at the athletic field.







Whitney is the first to turn up for Mia's birthday celebration.



Time to get out a nice cheese platter for the guests.



Other friends are arriving, including Mia's high school girlfriend Carla.



Sabrina and Adela make up the teen contingent.



For some reason Brett got real grumpy with Michael and started arguing with him!





Poor Mia didn't like to see her dad in conflict with one of her party guests and ran off crying! :( :(



She was lured back downstairs after her dad came up to reassure her and remind her of cake.



Here's our adult Mia! With her first new hairstyle of her life apparently lol.





One of her first set of wants rolled, and it does not take more than a moment to get to fulfilling it....





Safe to say the spark was rekindled between Mia and Carla. :) <3









Michael decides to take a sponge bath just for funsies (hygiene wasn't low but he has the inappropriate trait) and then of course breaks the tap in the process. Ohh Michael...





Mia wants to go out on a date with Carla so she calls her up to meet downtown.





They both roll marriage wants which I lock in right away!



Look how cute they are! How could anyone keep them apart.

Just a couple evening shots of the diner cause I love how it looks.



But now it's night time and the vampires are coming out, so that's their cue to head home after a lovely date.



Gloria's home from school - Beatriz makes sure to cheer just as hard for her exchange student "daughter" as she does for her actual daughter. The exchange student ROS is one of my favourite scenarios to have in the game!

Michael's best friend Xander came by to visit.



Mia was up late chatting with Carla.



Off to her last day at school!



Michael starts reminiscing about their Coconut Cove trip and the sea glass souvenir they brought back.





That one right there!





Trying to get some last minute aspiration points in while we still can!



But it's cake time now!



This again! But I think I realized what caused it - when I make an exchange student I design them as a teen in CAS, then age them up to adult so I can make them as a single person household. Then when they merge with the family they'll be living with I age them back down to teen - and when they age up in game, this glitch seems to happen (it did to Brett Woods too).



But no big deal, a quick appearance change fixes it. Here's beautiful Gloria as an adult!



Randomly Rhys left a bouquet of roses on the porch which feels... inappropriate. You work for Beatriz but you're not dating her??

Anyways I took the opportunity to introduce Gloria to one of the town's eligible bachelors while she had the chance.



One bolt isn't terrible?



But now it's time for Gloria to strike out on her own! Beatriz and Michael will be empty nesters in their next round, since Mia will be moving in with Carla at the end of her upcoming round too.





Michael rushes out to say goodbye in his pajamas.



Mia is woken by a phone call after she's in bed, and it's Rhys, looking for Gloria! Hmm well we'll keep that in mind for her next round perhaps.

She's moved into the small apartment building in Brightmaple, the same one Alice Park currently lives in! There's been I think a total of 5 or 6 households through there now? I'll have to count it up!

I already sold it I think but I thought the card doesn't say? I never look at it though. I feel like it must have been a glitch though because he 100% did not go on a date with any of them, but he does work at Beatriz's restaurant!
