Round Seventeen - Webb-Ainsworth

Last Round - Leah took up ballet as a new hobby. Leah became an adult this round and Callum became an elder! Hollie passed on ownership of the salon to Leah. Hollie had a couple of dates (since her and Callum are in an open relationship after everything). They got a genie lamp and Leah wished for wealth.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Founder Geneva Crosby married townie Daniel Ainsworth, and together they had one daughter, Hollie. She got together with Callum and in the midst of their rollercoaster relationship, they also had one daughter, Leah (her red hair is from grandma Geneva). Hollie and Leah may both have been only children, but there is a large extended family here - Hollie's first cousins are all the Crosby kids through Drew (Oliver, Connor, Melena and Louise) and so all of their kids are also some degree of cousin too (Luca, Paolo, Sloane, Felix and Ronin).

ROS said Callum had to get the grilled cheese aspiration for the round! So his thoughts are a little preoccupied at the moment. For the time being I moved his romance A aspiration to the secondary position.

Leah has no interest in an in-depth discussions of the merits of medium cheddar vs sharp cheddar.
Jumping in the pool while it's still a little warm in early fall I guess!
Callum invited one of his girlfriends over, but it seems it was a ruse to try to find a more receptive ear for talking about grilled cheese. She was not interested either, and Callum was a bit perturbed.
Hollie also had a boy-toy over, Tyler. He immediately took advantage of the well stocked bar, and chatted with Leah. I guess she's just used to all her parent's lovers hanging around all the time, doesn't even phase her now.
After he finishes the first drink, he heads out to try one from the outdoor bar.
Elijah stopped in to see the family!
Leah headed out downtown to get out amongst the people and have a good time.
While she was there, she started autonomously flirting with Travis.
Don't look so pleased sir - you're taken!
More flirtation between these two on the patio - they better watch it! I wouldn't put it past Starla to hex them both if she hears about this.
Back at the house, Callum finds yet another unreceptive audience when he tries to discuss the pros and cons of using butter or mayonnaise on the bread for grilled cheese.
A nice night to enjoy the hot tub.
That night a burglar slips in through the front door!
The police arrive, and after he calmly watches her go up the stairs (I guess he knew he had her cornered now), he arrested her without incident.
Leah goes in to work at A Little Off the Top today, and Meiko is lucky to have a good experience in the chair.
One of our new townies Magnus... not so much.
Alice got new lipstick.
Simone got her hair fried off :|
Hollie wanted to make a genie wish, and she wished for long life, so she got a few days back!

Hollie decided to throw a party that night - Estelle was one of the guests she made sure to invite. She knows it's been hard for her since Jarvis died, so she wants to make sure she's included.
Drinks are made and music is blasting!

They ordered pizza for the party too!
There's a bit of a chill in the air, so the next day Callum heads to the store to buy some more cold weather appropriate clothing.

She does seem to have some pretty good chemistry with him though, so she offers to try again to make it right.

Realising this could be a good way to regain loyalty stars, Leah keeps offering fix-it makeovers to the customers who got botched the first time around, to great effect!

Yard work and keyboard practice.
After putting together dinner, Leah asked Elijah (who drops by the house very often) if he wants to join her downtown for a night of clubbing.
She ends up dancing with her mom's boyfriend which is a little weird lol. There is no attraction between them, luckily.
There are sparks however, between her and Magnus.
They quickly head straight for the photobooth.
The way that Elijah stopped and stared down Magnus like this before he followed Leah into the photobooth felt very big brother coded and protective! It was really funny!
Magnus is like dang, this guy is kind of intense....
Anyways!
As soon as they were done, Leah paid the price.

A slow wakeup kind of morning.
Leah's interest in ballet is getting more serious, so she got some real ballerina clothing to wear!
You probably can't tell, but I changed her nose mask, and I think I like this one a bit better!
Cameron was walking by the house with Teddy when this mean wolf attacked him! :(

Callum rushed out in his undies to chase off that mean wolf.
You know this time, he is content to be with his wife!
Leah still wants to get to know that townie Matt better, so she gives him a call.
Meatball gets a sneaky treat from the table.
That bad wolf is back :/
Travis came to the salon - really wish they wouldn't greet each other like this! Neither of you are romance Sims so I can't endorse this...
Adela and Winnie both get clown-faced.
But Leah is able to fix it! Winnie hustled off the lot too fast for her to even offer.
Doing the fix-it makeovers does seem to help with recovering those lost stars!
Travis gets a little change to his facial hair.
Callum tries to teach Meatball some obedience.
Canoodling!
Leah does some more warming up on the barre, and that's gonna be it for their round! We'll see next time if any of Leah's potential love interests go anywhere, or if she has her focus on other things!

Date: 2024-07-13 02:12 am (UTC)I'm rooting for Leah and townie Matt, but currently she's going after the wrong redhead! She woohooed with Magnus but I think that was more convenience, her chemistry with Matt is better I think.
I kind of want Starla to find out about them too, cause I've been planning to let her have a voodoo doll as one of her bad witch perks.... LOL
