Round Three - Rossi

Last Round: Mateo's relationship with Judy was doing well! He asked her to move in with him and the Park family. Mateo and Judy moved out to their own place at the end of the round.

Mateo and Judy moved into a small, two bedroom apartment on the second floor of this building.

They didn’t decorate the second bedroom yet because funds are short, and it’s just the two of them for now :)

The look for this place was harvest and earth tones, green, and plants! In case anyone is interested, because I find this sort of thing interesting, this is the inspiration image that I very loosely based the living room on, and then basically built the rest of the decor around on my own.

Mateo and Judy’s first round in their own place begins! Lots of cooking happens in their cute little kitchen, and Mateo hangs out in the common area outside with a couple of their neighbours in the building, Drew and Jane!

I love the view out their kitchen window. Spotted this day was Drew and Jane hanging out in the common green.

Mateo and Judy needed to open a business so they could earn some money, so the first cafe in town is now here!

A warm welcome to The Plumbbean Coffee Co!

.

When it’s not open mic time on the guitar, they spend a lot of time busking to earn tips since no one has actually bought coffee yet. There is a fee for entry on the door so they can get some income from that as well. Work in progress :) I have lots of ideas for this place but it needs time to grow.

Judy keeps playing her heart out for tips, and Mateo tries to “supplement their income” with digging for treasures in the common green when the landlord isn’t around.

Waking up slowly. :)

A bit more cash flow means that Mateo and Judy were able to spruce up The Plumbbean Cafe a little more! A little bit more floorspace, some rugs on the floor, some art on the walls. Bit by bit!

The spacing  on the windows on the front is driving me a bit nutty - once they have money I’ll be changing the floorplan slightly so the front wall can be wider, and I can centre the windows. Why oh why doesn’t the quarter tile cheat work for windows and doors!

Judy and Mateo take care of household chores, like bill paying and dishes.

Judy and Mateo have their first house-guest, Ellis, over at their new place!

A little more hustle at the cafe means they reach rank one! They added their first retail offerings, a small shelf with mugs, coffee pots and canisters.

Later they made it to rank two, and there were some coffee machines added for sale too, but it looks like I missed getting pictures of those!

Mateo and Judy go to a building party with the neighbours and their landlord.

Mateo asked Judy to marry him, and she said yes :) 


.


Plenty of this happened in their round, but no chimes so far!

Judy’s hobby is tinkering, but she was a little overconfident of her skillset by trying to fix the computer.
