Round Fifteen - Crosby

Last Round - Louise was going through a phase, so she dyed her hair pink and pierced her eyebrow (just for a few days). Tessa became an elder! She tried to flirt with Ellis (who she'd woohooed with in a photo booth) but he turned it down, but was hanging around her door later on. Louise hung out with Ewan Menzies (who she'd had her first kiss with) but it seems like they don't have any real romantic compatibility, but wanted to stay friends. Louise became an adult at the end of the round, and moved out!

Who's Who in the Zoo?

This family tree is a little more complicated! Founder Drew Crosby married Jane, and had three kids with her - Oliver, Connor and Melena. Then Jane tragically passed away from a lightning strike when their kids were still young. Tessa was an employee working at the Happy Tails Pet Store with Drew, and they fell in love and got married, so she became stepmom to all his kids. Her and Drew got pregnant, but sadly he passed away the day that little Louise was born (also Melena's teen birthday). So Tessa was now a single mom to a baby and three stepkids!




Duff is waiting (im)patiently outside the bathroom door.

I had been meaning to give Happy Tails Pet Store a good makeover for so long, and it was finally the time! The businesses start off so small and humble in the beginning, they eventually reach a point where you have to just bulldoze it all and start from scratch. You can watch the speed build here!



The cash area is just inside the doors.



The large pet displays are now in the windows at the front.



Pet supplies are all in one corner together.



And there's a small pet section too!

Duff was home today, and just enjoying a relaxing time in bed.

Knowledge Sims are a little crazy...





She wanted a date, so she called up Ellis - if you don't recall, they autonomously woohooed in a photo booth.. but then he was also brushing her off and being rude last round when he came into the pet store.

But he came when asked and seemed to be happy to see her!

They had a great time together :)





With Louise moved out, Tessa converted her old bedroom into a hobby room - I got her the Biotech station to play with, that's what knowledge Sims consider fun!

This other doggie wants a bit of love too! I tried to get her to make friends with him enough to adopt but he left before I could.





Stepson Oliver was walking by so she said hello to him.



He joined her for a meal before he headed off on his way.



Then Tessa invited over Ellis! This was another date. And she was very happy to see him!



They fell in love...



And then this happened! First guy she's been really serious about since Drew! A very interesting development...



The paper girl seems to get lost around Brightmaple, today she somehow ended up at the back door.

It's time for a new outfit, something a little more spring and summer appropriate.

That evening, it was time to pop that question!



Of course, he said yes!



After they had a little inside joke which seemed so cute to me, they're good with each other!

The pet store looks great! Love that you put the displays in the windows!

It made me realize I wish the animal slots were further back on those displays though, they're right at the front so they're basically nose to nose with the wall! If I knew anything about default replacing meshes I might attempt it but for now I'll live with it lol.
