Round Seven - Harrison

Last Round - They brought home a surprise cat, named Mabel! There was yet another kitchen fire. Angelie went bowling and saw their former exchange student Beatriz, so they had lunch. Sawyer and Dahlia both became elders.

Mabel gets the hint that she should clear off of the bed...

I popped a couple new teenage townies into the game, and Angelie brought Marie home to hang out after school.
Their business, The Tavern, was having the same kind of glitches that the old grocery store was, so I decided it had to be rebuilt too. This is McMulligan's!

Inside there's a proper restaurant/pub this time, and their bartender Travis came along to the new location too!
Estelle joined the team as a server!
.
.
Outside the pub, Dahlia has some fun puddle splashing around. :)
.
.
Back home, Mabel is napping on the bed.
.
Angelie cheers on dad in his video game.
Not long after everyone has gone to sleep, a burglar breaks in! But the alarm was set luckily...
.
Luckily policy response time in Brightmaple is miraculous!
.
Remember kids, crime doesn't pay.
The ROS for their round was a fitness regime which is one I've gotten a couple times before, so I decided any or all of them could participate. Angelie went first, with a little jump rope in the living room.

Oooh looks like they're gossiping, what's the tea guys?
Oh... you're gossiping about... your friend's cat Marmalade?
Well OK then....

Dahlia manages to get the new pub up two ranks in one day! Even when the customers don't look overly impressed...
Poor Mabel is caught just trying to do her business by Grim!

But she doesn't seem to mind and actually looks pretty happy to be moving on to the next life!
Off she goes - bye sweet little Mabel!

Marina decided to call in sick to work that night, and it worked!

Angelie invited Alice over for some video games.
.

.
Sawyer had to wait his turn to plant a big kiss on Dahlia :)
.

Friends came over to hang out and have dinner after school again, including their employee Estelle. :)
.

In the morning, a mother daughter smustle session!
.
Dahlia and Angelie kept pursuing the family fitness goal by heading out to the little neighbourhood gym together!
.

.
The dishwasher has been broken for the whole round, so I crossed my fingers Sawyer had high enough mechanical level and let him try to fix it.
A small shock, but he manages to fix it! Yay!
.
Today is Angelie's birthday, so it's time for a party!
Why do Sims always like to crowd the front porch for half the party?
.
Everyone finally gets inside for the cake time!
Another adult for the second generation is here!
Party guests always prefer to raid the fridge for snacks rather than eat the lovely food that was made for them...
But at least they all enjoyed it!
Angelie got her "grown-up" makeover and wardrobe change. :)

The morning of her first full day of adulthood, Angelie gets up to have breakfast and then heads to spend some time working at McMulligan's.

It's getting busier there already!
Back home, the dishwasher has already broken again... I think it might just be time to replace it...
Angelie seems to be fairly preoccupied, so we looked into getting that taken care of with a call to the matchmaker!

And our lucky candidate is Joanna Roth, one of the townies in Brightmaple!
.
It starts out a little bit rocky... "What do you mean we should go catch a movie? There's no theatre here...."
They settled on going to the Snack Shack for a bite to eat for the date.

Both ladies got cheesecake!
By the end of the date, things were looking very good.

Joanna followed Angelie home after the date, and they promptly commandeered the only double bed in the house.
.
.
I heard chimes already.... which seems about on pace for a family Sim like Angelie.
So, there was no time to lose then!
Joanna's inventory had three baskets of groceries and they were running low, so I figured she could make a small contribution to the household before it's time for them to move out.
Angelie started looking for a new place for them right away.

And now it's time for these two to be off and start their own home!
The rest of the family remaining here has some quality time around the kitchen table, at the end of their round!
