Round Twelve - Ainsworth

Last Round - (Ainsworth) Their dog Wallace passed away sadly, while they were at work. Daniel and Geneva went for a date at the 50's diner downtown. Geneva passed away too this round :( Leaving just Daniel and Scout.
Last Round - (Webb-Ainsworth) Their baby was born, a daughter named Leah! With a bunch of recessive genetics! Hollie kept trying to give good makeovers to people at work (didn't always go well). Callum was sneaking around with other women behind Hollie's back (as romance Sims do) but he got caught when he (I) lost track of time and Hollie came home from work, and she was furious with him! He slept on the couch a few nights, and after Leah became a toddler, Hollie moved herself and Leah out and back home with her dad Daniel. Now Callum is on his own!
Scout wanders into the spare room and finds an unexpected bed in there!
And a crib!
Poor Scout is completely perplexed by where all this stuff, and these Sims, came from!
As Hollie and Leah wake up, he comes in to investigate further.
There's some definitely mutual interest here.
And it seems like they're gonna be friends!
Leah is potty trained! Just in time, as it seems like Hollie is getting tired of it.
Grandpa Daniel makes sure Leah's all set up with toys and a bottle.
That morning, Hollie decided it was time to do something totally different with her hair ;)
Daniel thinks it suits his daughter well!
Hollie headed out to the Plumb Boutique to also get herself a new outfit, and necklace to go with.
She chats with this townie named Eric, and she's got dating on her mind.
Their chemistry is great, so I think pursuing that date isn't a bad idea! Also, she's still apparently holding a torch for her brief high school boyfriend Simon Park...
Such a charmer!
She goes for it, and they ended up moving the party to Club Gerbit.
However during her date, she rolled a want to marry Simon :/ He's TAKEN Hollie. And also not even here...
She tried to distract herself by going in for a kiss, but it was not appealing to Eric... poor Hollie...
And then like a minute later he wants to kiss her? This guy is very hot and cold...
Well at least there was some lip locking going on after all?
And after the date ended she did want to see him again, so that's good.
Back at home, Daniel is working on Leah's walking. But things are going a little slow for him...
So he set her up with some Smart Milk!
That's better!
Now she's a terror on two feet!
And discovering the same music & dance hobby as her mama!
Daniel headed out to do some work at Games World, thrilling and delighting his customers.
Then a quick pit stop on the way home, to restock on groceries!
Back at the house, I had been wanting to makeover their kitchen for a long time, so I finally did that!
Got her old keyboard back :)
It's summer, so they've gotta get some use out of that nice pool in the back!
Hollie wanted to go on another date still, so she called up Eric to see if he wanted to meet up with her again.
They took a cab downtown and went to The Roof, a recreation I did of a restaurant/lounge from my old neighbourhood!
They had a nice time, mostly dancing the night away!
The next morning, Hollie went to work at A Little Off the Top. I added in some salon portraits I'd whipped up for her, and redecorated a small portion as well.
Megan leaves poor Teagan with a mess of a face.
Luckily Hollie has more luck with Travis.
Back at home, Daniel picks up the phone.... She just wants to talk... she swears!
The time has come for Daniel to retire... and I have some other plans for the future of Games World which you will see before too long!
Grandpa and Leah celebrate his retirement!
Callum is invited over, and Leah's so happy to see her daddy!
He's there because it's time for this little one's birthday already!

After Leah aged up, there was a huge reshuffling of rooms. The upstairs bedroom that temporarily housed Hollie and Leah became just Leah's room.
Daniel gave up his bedroom across the hall for Hollie.
(and Scout)
And the games room downstairs became Daniel's new bedroom!
Leah brings up uncomfortable topics at the breakfast table with her mom and grandpa!
Upstairs, Scout has a nice snooze on the bed.
Hollie wants more dates, as any good romance Sim does, so she decides to call up the matchmaker.
First contender.. the pizza guy? Mmmm no...
She's got lots of money thanks to dad, but still there's clearly no point in breaking the bank... try again...
Seriously? NO.
Third try and... you know what we can work with this!
A slight makeover, and Hollie heads downtown with her blind date Sebastian.
The date starts off with him giving her a free TV so hey, no matter what this was worth it.
On this date, Hollie rolls another marriage want, but it's for... Callum? She also wants to marry Eric, but she also fears marrying him at the same time which tells me she's actually conflicted about that.
Their date was fine, but kind of boring, no sparks there. So she ended it up a little early, after they ate.
Back at the house... Daniel spots the matchmaker still hanging around outside and realizes that he too wants a date (he has a romance secondary).
Mary here turns up - seems like the matchmaker does much better with female dates!
Leah calls over Claire Menzies to play video games with her!
It's a highly competitive game.
Meanwhile Daniel and Mary are having a good date....
When two of your boyfriends randomly lurk on your porch at night at the same time...
The next day at the salon, Teagan is back and hoping to have her makeup fixed.
Megan sits her down in the chair again.....
Oh dear...
Oh no....
Hollie isn't having any better luck... it's starting to look like the circus has come to town around here!
Time to call it a day I think, but not before a slight remodel of the outdoors of the salon too!
Scout defends his home when Callum turns up again!
But Callum knows how to soften him up.
Leah's happy to see her dad as always :)
They play a game of Marco Polo in the pool together.:)
She still just wants to talk :) :) :)
"Today, at school, Jamie Perry told me that mommies and daddies kiss to make a baby!"
"Mom, did you and daddy have to kiss to make me?"
"Umm... your dinner is gonna get cold honey."
Later, after Leah went to bed... it seems like kissing was still on their minds...
Perhaps something is rekindling here?
This round ends on a rainy night, with possible romance and reuniting on the horizon? We'll see!
