Round Fourteen - Park II

Last Round - Alice kept her social calendar up with another party, and meeting up with her brother Simon and nephew Miles at the playground one day and the bowling alley the next. She also got a second cat named Hecate - at first her and Hermes had friction but then they became friends. Alice went out on a date with townie Rhys; there was a kiss but so far nothing else noteworthy!



Alice woke up really early and spent a bit of time reading in bed.



Hermes and Hecate were stalking poor Remy!



Mom came in to break things up.



Foiled yet again!



She had a little bit of witchy business to take care of in here.



But now that that's out of the way, it's time to pack up and head out... Alice has a trip booked!



The nanny will take (hopefully) good care of the cats while she's gone!



Alice arrives to her beach house. Not until the evening because unfortunately her initial hotel had some issues that meant I couldn't properly check her in, or get her out of there with any speed. Doing so ended up taking most of the day!





Once she's settled in, Alice wastes no time hopping on her broom and heading out to enjoy the nightlife!



The Screaming Parrot is the first stop, for a bit of dinner.



Social butterfly Alice immediately makes a friend, who joins her for dinner.





The waiter must be new :(





After dinner Alice heads over to Coco Llama's Beach Bar for drinks and dancing!





She scopes out the room, and of all the Sims there, this was apparently the most enthusiasm she could muster.



Not a love match, that's for sure!





After a bit of sleep, Alice is back out checking out the town!



Meeting the local cultural ambassadors!



Including this guy!







Back home for a bit to relax and watch a movie on pay-per-view.





Observing the beautiful skies of Coconut Cove from the hammock at the cottage.





I never had anyone check out Lady Landgraab's Conservatory at night, so I thought it would be cool to try out!



Alice skipped right past the crowds by practicing her teleportation spell.



But she was more interested in catching fireflies outside the conservatory than looking at the plants inside of it. Maybe she thought they could be harnessed as familiars or something.



But no luck.



Back over to the bar again, where this supremely stylish tourist townie appeared in the wild.



Alice congratulated him on his excellent style.



She made sure to get some karaoke in before she headed back to her lodgings, well after midnight.



Last morning here, she has brunch at the Boardwalk.



And builds herself a sand castle!



But, her time on this trip is up, so the airport shuttle is here to bring her home! She seemed to enjoy her time in Coconut Cove though.



The nanny is tipped generously for keeping the cats alive.



Now that Alice is back, it's time for another party. This one even has an occasion - it's Alice's birthday!





Rhys is there and being flirty!



Ooooh and then she leaves the rest of her guests to their own devices while they sneak off to the bedroom.



But she makes it out in time for cake!



And here's our Alice as an elder! She had a very fun birthday party I think.



Back to business the next day, quite literally. The antique shop needs a little attention!





Hermes has become an elder too!



Hecate still has her youthful looks however.



Whyyyyyy are they fighting again, they get along so well usually now!



Hecate, it's not nice to beat up on the old man now.





Just when you were thinking, surely Alice has enough cats, NO! ROS decided this round, Alice needed to get yet another cat. So, meet Circe!



She introduces herself to a half frozen Gloria when Alice brings her home.



Don't worry Remy, no matter how many cats there are, I won't let them get you.



This is her counter now.



One of her best friends Paloma came over!





Alice decided why not invite a few more and make it a party!



And then of course, right at the end of the night, I hear that LoOoVe sound, and I paused and scooted over as quick as I could. I don't know exactly what happened, but I can make some assumptions from the crime scene.

Paloma is married to Gabriel, but had a teenage fling with Simon, who is Alice's brother. Gabriel was also the exchange student hosted by Alice and Simon's family as a teen, so Simon and Gabriel are almost like brothers in a way. Paloma and Simon had one brief, passionate, adulterous kiss as adults, but fell out of love when Paloma tried one too many times to talk to Simon about grilled cheese (a passion of hers). But it looks here to me, like something made Paloma fall back in love with Simon, while Gabriel was right there but none the wiser.

Brightmaple may not be the most dramatic town, but it sure has its moments!

We'll have to wait and see how that plays out, but it's always interesting when stuff like this happens when you aren't even controlling the Sims involved!

Next time, we'll see more of the dynamics of all three cats and how their own drama might play out too!

That seemed like a fun vacation! (even if the hotel was wonky, she got better lodging then)
Paloma wtf, why? At least Gabriel didn't get jealous, so?

I know! LOL and to thicken the plot, Gabriel cheated on Paloma a lot early in their marriage (romance Sim) but was also never caught. He eventually simmered down, and then Paloma unexpectedly started getting "closer" with Simon and I was like nooo not you too, you're the good one lol!
But nothing had happened for a while until all of a sudden this XD I guess maybe if they only flirted that doesn't meet a threshold for jealousy?
