Round Fifteen - Harrison-Legault

Last Round - Starla became an adult at the start of the round, and quickly met townie Travis while out on a community lot, and they hit it off! The penguin seemed to be stalking this household all round, they had at least one sighting a day. Theo had his birthday this round as well, and also is an adult now! Angelie sold the bookstore and retired. Starla went out on a date with Travis and they fell in love, and by the end of the round she proposed and they moved out together, and Theo moved out on his own too!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Founders Dahlia and Sawyer Harrison had two daughters - their older daughter Angelie married Joanna (originally a townie), and they had two kids, Starla and her younger brother Theo. They have a cousin, Veronica Rossi, through their aunt Marina. They also are associated with Brett Woods (courtesy of Deedee!) as he was a teenage exchange student at their home starting when Starla and Theo were quite young (he's something like a much older brother or cool uncle figure to them). Starla met Travis (who was a townie) when she aged up to adult last round, and things moved swiftly for them - she proposed, and they're now starting their life together!
Starla and Travis are newly engaged and settling in to their new home. I posted up a video of me decorating it if you want to see (skip to the end for the screenshots if you just wanna see the end results!)
They need a way to make money, and I felt that these two were great candidates to purchase The Orange Zone rec centre that Gabriel Dias recently sold!
They went straight out for their grand reopening of the business, and Starla's best friend Simone was there to show support.
The evil witch showed up - since Starla has a Knowledge B secondary aspiration (evil scientist archetype) and only one niceness point, I have it in my mind that she's angling to become an evil witch herself. So first things first - suck up to the boss lady!
Off to a good start!
First order of business today - play Don't Wake the Llama. Tough job!
Can't forget the dancing either.
They get back home and decide to have a stay home date.
Doing stay home date kind of stuff...
They decided to head over to the sports field as well, since that's both of their hobbies!
A little meal to fill their bellies!
Starla's teenage love Zachary turned up on the lot and she rolled a want mid-date to fall in love with him. -_- I will be studiously ignoring that since although it was cute while they were teenagers, these two would actually make a terrible pairing long term! Plus Starla.... you're literally already engaged.
This guy is always hanging around!
They enjoyed a friendly shoot-out!
Neither of them are particularly nice, so some mean spirited gossip helped make their date more enjoyable too.
There is one other way that Travis has come up with to make money... his aspirations are Popularity B (public enemy) and Fortune A (hard worker). So, I decided to give him the kleptomaniac trait so he can become the town pickpocket - move over, Unsavoury Charlatan - you've got competition!
He's off to a promising start!
Starla didn't mind that he was doing this during their date, because the evil witch showed up again and she needed to rush over to tell her how wonderful her hair looks tonight.
Back at home they wind down listening to music out on the porch before heading off to bed for the night.
In the morning, Starla's jam session gets in the way of Travis getting out of his shower.
Off to The Orange Zone again!
They have more people to join them for the game this time!
Yay!
Travis attempted to make pancakes for them but they didn't quite turn out!
They both managed to choke down one serving, but only just.
Travis went out to Town Centre Park to work on his pickpocket hustle. Xander was the first victim today!
Some Sims weren't taken in by his ruse though.
Not Darius though, fell for it hook, line and sinker!
Starla's moms turned up to see the new place!
Ventrilo-fart pranks are a love language for this family apparently!
They ordered Chinese food to enjoy for dinner!
Travis got home from pickpocketing in time to enjoy some while it was still warm.
Looks like fried rice to me, yum! My favourite!
Joanna helped herself to the computer to check up on her nature blogs.
Angelie found the stereo!
Joanna finally got herself some fried rice too!
More couch shenanigans :) I've still got their unmarried try for baby turned off for now, they haven't rolled wants to actually get married yet. Next round I may allow unmarried TFB and see what happens if I leave it up to them, but we'll see when we get there!
More work! They have a lot of loans to pay back.
Starla isn't happy to see this wolfie making a mess of their lawn.
The ROS for their round was to reconnect with friends, so Starla called up a group to meet them downtown for dinner and drinks!
Her brother Theo and friends Simone and Malcolm were along for the evening.
They grabbed a booth at Cork + Cask downtown.
I was trying to get a nice group shot of the table, but then I saw...

Theo is pretending he doesn't know her... certainly not related to her...

Things were getting a little flirtatious between Theo and Simone.
A lot flirtatious! For a refresher - Theo briefly dated Sabrina Perry when they were teens but then got weird, jealous and stalker-ish when she went on a date with Ewan Menzies once. In revenge, Theo gave Simone her first kiss one fine evening right on Sabrina's front lawn, out of nowhere, while they were both just walk-bys. So there is some history between them.
The rest of the evening was just everybody socializing and having a good time, and further flirtation between Simone and Theo too. Everyone had a good time, and that was it for their round! I had a lot of fun with them and am excited to see where their story goes.
