Last Round - Luca decided to wear a pirate costume for a while this round. Paolo continued dating Marceline, and the whole family went out to the splash park. Snoopy died :( Connor became an elder, and The Plumbbean Coffee Co reached rank 10!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Connor Crosby is the second son of founder Drew Crosby and his first wife Jane. He has two siblings and one half sibling. He married Ariella (Rossi) who was the younger child of founder Mateo Rossi and his wife Judy; she has one older brother. Together Connor and Ariella have two sons, Paolo and Luca! They've got two cousins by their aunt Melena (Sloane and Felix) one by their uncle Marco (Veronica), and one by their aunt Louise (Ronin).
Popcorn is feeling frisky today!
Paolo is set to age up this round, and I choose to interpret this as him thinking about proposing to Marceline when he does :D
ROS gave them a small pet adoption, and I thought they were great candidates for a pet bunny! I enclosed their patio into a kind of sunroom type area, and the bunny lives in there - his name is Bun-Bun.
Connor is baking this morning to stock the cooler at the cafe!

Jacob's instincts were right on the money to be there for cake - it's Luca's birthday!
His aspiration is Family A (strict parent) just like Paolo. He's into talented and charismatic young women - grey hair not as much.
Still a lot of flirtation with these two!

Connor decided to wander into the living room in his undies! Somehow this was his sleepwear (?) so I changed it back to actual pajamas.

A Bun-Bun butt!
Connor and his two same-face sons (or at least very similar face sons) at breakfast. That Jane Crosby square head is strong genetically!
Still a little tiny bit sad so little of Ariella's facial structure genetics passed down especially since she is probably well past her fertile age now. Same thing happened to her brother Marco, his daughter Veronica mostly looks like mom. Not much luck for passing down the genetics with the Rossi siblings!

I really could never kill off my deliberately made or added townies, I don't care if they stay the same age as the playable generations pass T_T I get too attached to them, and hope they all become playable one day too!

Today the boys have a couple friends joining after school - their cousin Felix, and townie Morgan.
The flirtation escalated with them!
Connor is cracking down and making Luca do all that homework!

Their TV broke, fell off the wall! They have awful luck with TV's in this house, it was only a couple rounds ago it either broke or got stolen, I can't remember. For now they've borrowed the teeny one that was up in Paolo's bedroom.

Luca and Paolo were looking after some hobby pursuits this day.
Paolo checks his hair before calling up Marceline - tonight is his birthday and he (me) is hoping there will be a rekindled romance pretty soon...

Nervously fiddling with a puzzle game while he awaits Marceline.
Here she is! Along with their Rossi family relatives - uncle Marco, aunt Marina and cousin Veronica.
But it isn't just Paolo's birthday tonight - it's Ariella's too! She gets the cake this time and I'm letting Paolo just age up in the background.
Katy showed up at some point too - everyone crowds around to get a good look at Paolo and Ariella in their new ages!
Well, about that romance rekindling! They were smoochin' before the age up icon even stopped spinning over Paolo's head lol.
Let's get a look at these two before this goes any further.
Here's Paolo, now and then! I decided that he got contacts as an adult, so no more glasses for now. It actually did become clear to me when I was trying to pick hair and brows for him that he did in fact inherit Ariella's brow, so at least some of her genes are moving down the line.
And here's Ariella throughout her life! It's weird and sweet every time a born in game Sim becomes an elder. Even though I've been playing them for literal years, still makes me feel like time flies!
As expected for two family Sims who are high school sweehearts, these wants are rolled right away!
And it does not take them long to find the bed! No chimes though.
I did also goof a little and get ahead of myself - Marceline was supposed to move in after 6 pm on the last day of the round, but I forgot that was not this big birthday night but the next night, and I accidentally moved in her a day early. Oh well!

Veronica spent almost the entire evening upstairs, jumping on Luca's trampoline.
Paolo's room got a hasty makeover to accommodate him and Marceline.
Marceline joins her first family breakfast at the Crosby house.
Connor joins Marceline watching a cooking show, and they bond over their shared hobby!
Diligent and responsible Paolo is taking care of the garbage duties!
Paolo takes Marceline out downtown today!
Because he has an important question to ask her!
The answer is of course, yes!
I forgot to say that in addition to his Family A (strict parent) primary aspiration, Paolo now has the romance B (hopeless romantic) secondary. So this big romantic gesture felt very right for him!
They also both want a wedding party! So I think I'll have to try out the new wedding venue possibly? Won't be til next round though, and might be a little tough with it being a winter wedding and the marriage arch being outside, but we will see what we can do.
If only she had showed up a few minutes earlier, what a great backdrop this would have been for the proposal, geez!

Off to try for baby yet again (I'm letting them start trying before marriage, they are family Sims after all!) but no chimes yet.
Everyone else in the house clears outside to give them privacy lol.

They end the night watching movies together, before Paolo gets outside to enjoy his telescope a little!
And that brings their round to a close!
I'm a little undecided what to do with Paolo and Marceline, but I think they may inherit the cafe and convert it to more of a restaurant type operation, to take advantage of Marceline's cuisine hobby. I was thinking of them inheriting the house, but there really isn't a lot of room for growth if they start having kids, so I'm not too sure what to do with them! For now they're staying put but they might have to move by the end of the next round.
