Round Seventeen - Woods

Last Round - Sally became a teenager, and the twins became children. Lucy finally got to work some more at the bookstore. Lucy became friends with Navid because of an ROS to make friends with your kid's friends!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Brett Woods originally hails from Griffinmere in Deedee's game! He came to Brightmaple as a teenage exchange student thanks to an ROS roll for the Harrison family, specifically Angelie and Joanna Harrison. As such he is something like an older brother figure to Starla and Theo. As an adult, he met townie Lucy (by Anna) and they got married and now have four kids - Sally and Bradley, plus twins Caleb and Jacob.
After four kids, Lucy has conflicted feelings about having more. Luckily for me, they have already reached their limit anyways. Not sure they could afford, or fit, any more!
Milton patiently keeps watch through the night.
Some creepy glitch with the teddy bear, hovering in the middle of the air. I think this is because I used shift anything to put it up on a dresser and someone moved it from there!

Poor Bradley got in trouble for breaking the dishwasher.
After the kids all got off to school, Brett and Lucy went to work at the bookstore - finally they're able to go together!

It's a perfect rainy day for books!
Back at home Milton is getting that attention he loves.
Then Sally is right back out the door, to work! I'm drawing a blank on whose business she works at now.
My game was struggling with invisible/pink flashing this night!
We're back to Milton, this time hanging out with Bradley!
Jacob revved up a static charge on the rug in the hallway, and gave Caleb a shock.
Which made him burst into tears :( Poor kid!
He gets along much better with his older brother, so they played some cops and robbers together.
Had to move the TV way out into the middle of the room so Lucy would be able to fix it - she's the handier one!
Brett's on dinner duty tonight - Jacob wants to know what he's making!
Jacob got really excited to see Sally when she got in from her shift, which was super cute.
Just in time to join dinner!
Sally doesn't really get those Simsformers or whatever those toys Jacob is into are all about.

Another day at Turn the Page Bookstore!
And another rank! Inspired by Beth (TeaAddict's) own rules, I've decided to make things a little harder on my Sims. Normally I shoot straight up the money perks tree first, then do other things. Now I'm going to only allow the money perk every other rank.
They're gonna have to earn those Simoleons the old fashioned way!
Townie Fern came with Sally off the bus.
I couldn't find Caleb's homework the day before, so I made sure to watch him closely this day - he was putting it inside this pouf! I have it sitting on a walk around block. I should have known!
Karim Amiri came home with the boys today.
Caleb's hobby is arts & crafts! I'm enjoying implementing sub-hobbies now - not randomized or based on anything, purely vibes. And since I really wanted to properly try out Epi and PF's camera overhaul mod, his hobby will be photography!
The kids can look after themselves for a while!
Caleb asked Jacob to play with him, which he immediately rebuffed - their relationship is still not very good.
Then for some reason right after, they autonomously family kissed - and immediately looked completely disgusted and horrified!
Jacob even wiped his mouth on his sleeve! 😭 This was one of the funniest interactions I've ever seen in this game, I laughed out loud for so long!
Family members in my game seem to rarely have any conflicts, so I'm kind of leaning into the Angela and Lilith thing these two have going on and having a lot of fun with it!
Jacob's hobby is fitness! Since he is very active I had already given him the loves to swim trait based on that, so it works out well that this can be his main hobby focus.
Looking at the comparisons of how the boys get along with each other - the twins both get along better with their older brother Bradley than they do with one another.
Bradley's room is neutral ground! And has cooler toys I guess :)
Caleb's toy decided to be invisible for some reason.
They went out for a day at the swimming pool - and all got to try the slide!
Callum, you stay away from her! She is a nice lady!
A relaxing float.
Jacob of course was having the most fun of all!
Lucy enjoyed a soak in the hot tub too.
Sally's piano needed a tune up. Of course that is her particular subhobby!
This is where I realised I'd meant to have Brett be the one to take the boys to the pool - whoops! Poor Brett, for some reason it's always hard to keep his aspiration level up.
Remembered to put Milton's whiskers on - his are a funky orange colour, so apparently his base coat is orange under there somewhere! I could have changed it but I think it adds even more character, he's a slightly weird looking cat as it is!
He accompanied Sally's piano playing with a little song of his own. :)
Fall means leaves to rake!
Brett got to have some fun harassing his ants (he does have the science hobby and popularity B/public enemy aspiration after all). Diabolical!
Quiet evening around the house. A friend of Lucy's from the townie days was there too.
Brett got some stargazing in - that one is his subhobby!
Jacob wants to befriend Karim, so he called him up to talk.
Lucy was chatting with her townie friend Sylvia.

Sally headed out to the roller rink today.
She was hoping she might bump into Bethany there, but when that wasn't happening, she called her up to see if she would come out!
Her and Navid chatted while she waited for her to show up, and became best friends!

She gave her a big old squeeze before she went home. I'm really liking these two together more and more... they must sense their shared Griffinmere connections!
Bradley gave Caleb a big shock!
He didn't cry this time though, presumably because he likes Bradley more - it doesn't feel mean spirited when he does it!
Me finally remembering Bradley has that cool piggy bank and getting Lucy to throw some cash in it!
Time to bother Jacob!

Bradley is a pleasure A aspiration (modest enjoyer) and he's into guys with glasses who love pets, and aren't talented. All turn ons and offs are TBD anyways though, I've been debating swapping out the replacements mod for a while and leaning more towards it now!

That's it for their round! The ROS had nothing to really show, but they lost 30% of their money to a tax bill - they are always struggling for money here, so that was nothing new to them!
Sally and Bethany did also fall in love this round. I really like them together and hope to see this relationship continue on!

Just a heads up, I think you should redownload that dress Lucy is wearing; I improved the bone assignments a while ago, but it seems you still have the old one.
