Round Four - Lewis

Last Round: Whitney aged up to child, and played with her baby brother. Roxanne became pregnant again! Treble Town continued to do well. They bought a guitar for the house. Baby Emily was born, and Xander also aged up to child at the end of the round.

Whitney and Xander share a bedroom, and every morning they wake up, enthusiastically wave hello to one another, and break the toys out of the toy box. Seriously cute!

Family mornings at breakfast for the Lewis’.

Just like the last round with the Harrisons, the ROS roll for the Lewis family was a new outfit. I picked Joshua for this, and I definitely think this outfit completely suits him.



Treble Town continued to perform great in sales, and since it’s now summer and I want them to get outside a lot, I fixed them up a nice yard area including hot tub! All this stuff is sure to satisfy both Roxanne’s fortune aspiration and Joshua’s family aspiration. And the kids’ need to play too!

After school on summer days and the kids barely touch the ground inside to drop off their homework before they’re back outside playing.

Emily had a birthday! Which mom had to get out of the new hot tub to assist with.

Joshua is the most natural and adorable family Sim I think I’ve ever played. It just really suits him. <3

Roxanne jumps on the trampoline in the middle of a thunderstorm because that’s just what Sims do.


.


In the end, she gets fit! This actually quite nicely ties a bow on her first round ROS roll which was to start a fitness regimen. That got a little sidetracked by three pregnancies (a nice bit of realism). Two rounds later, goal achieved!

Roxanne takes a shift at Treble Town, and some money gets put into sprucing up the exterior!


.

Lightning struck a tree in the yard which prompted the usual immediate freak out, however this time it became warranted because a garden light caught fire too! Luckily the fire department was able to take care of it, because luckily I have a mod that keeps buy mode from being locked out, so I could pop a smoke detector outside. Which I had forgotten to do and should have anyways because I usually have one anywhere there’s a barbecue.

Ever since Roxanne became fit, she’s sprinting everywhere, even to bring her kid some food. Most of the time it just looks like she’s prancing.

Emily surprised Roxanne with a bit of spit up, but she can’t stay mad for long.

Roxanne seemed to uh… like what she saw. So they tested out the new hot tub!

Whitney rolled a want for a puppy, so they brought home little Ziggy here. Whitney was so excited!



Roxanne already knows who will really be taking care of him though.

The whole Lewis family (including Ziggy!) was enjoying some time in the living room, and then I accidentally discovered this snuggle interaction for kids and parents which was so damned adorable I could barely stand it. Especially with Joshua, dad extraordinaire, and Xander who’s a total cutie pie.

Joshua has a great day at Treble Town!

Ziggy gets lots of love from Emily.

He ages up into a sort of patched lab looking dog, and as far as Emily is concerned that just means more of him to love!

Despite seemingly enjoying herself, Emily is the first person in her entire family who doesn’t have the music & dance hobby - so much for a family band! She is actually into tinkering. :)

Roxanne hires an employee for Treble Town, Lily. This helps the business grow another rank, and they used some of the money to further spruce up the yard with fencing and more garden beds by the road.

Emily asks daddy to read her a book, and Ziggy eavesdrops in the background.

Whitney aged up to teen! She keeps getting prettier, look at her now! Loving this braided style on her a lot. She rolled for the fortune aspiration just like her mom. Perhaps she’ll end up taking over Treble Town once her parents retire!

She’s the first teen in the neighbourhood, not counting Beatriz who joined the hood as a teen. The first born-in-game child to age up to teen let’s say. Time is  going fast!

Whitney’s room for her teen years! The guitar patterned blankets and the band poster are my nods to her music & dance hobby. I’ve got to work on decorating while integrating my Sim’s personality and hobbies!

Previously this was the nursery for Xander and later Emily, and Whitney was sharing her room with Xander for a while.

Now Emily has moved in with Xander, so that Whitney can have her own room and some privacy for now.

Now that Whitney has aged up, Beatriz finally has another teenager to hang out with! Not for long though as Beatriz is due to age up at the beginning of her next round.

Later Roxanne walks by while Joshua is in the hot tub, and seems to be reminiscing about another time spent in that hot tub….

When she went to bed that night, Roxanne had rolled a fear that Ziggy would chew the furniture. And all through the night, he kept chewing and she kept rolling new fears for it.

When she woke up in the morning, she was in full aspiration failure! I kind of baby my Sims so this is rare for me, probably only the second time I’ve seen the psychiatrist!

After he helped her out a little, she rolled a want to scold Ziggy - LOL! Didn’t take too long for her to get an opportunity.

Whitney came with mom for her first time working at Treble Town. There were some hits and misses!

The time has come for Emily’s birthday, and no more toddlers in the house! I love them and they’re one of my favourite age groups in the game, but they are a lot of work!


.


She ages up to child and now you can really see how much she and her brother look alike, they could almost be twins!


.


Emily finishes up the Lewis round four by demonstrating the proper way to be an annoying little sister to her older teen sibling!
