Meet the newest family who has moved into Brightmaple!

I would have taken their photo as a pair since they are married, but it was tough because they live on an apartment lot (no room for photoshoots) and my control of them while teleported to another lot is limited. :)

In any case, please meet our newest citizens!

Valerie and Zelda are all ready to be moved in to their first home together in Brightmaple, in my redesigned Bella’s Belles Townhomes.

Just inside the front door at Valerie and Zelda’s place is the living room. Had to get a shot from literally every angle because I love their place so much!

At the back of the main floor in the Georgison household is the kitchen which is carrying on the sort of boho eclectic feel.

Then the upstairs hall and the master bedroom at the front of the top floor!

No shots of the bathrooms because one is kinda boring, and the other is also boring and literally only three tiles. The second bedroom is totally unfurnished for now since they ran out of money and don’t need it.

How in God’s name I furnished this all with NO money cheats is a mystery to even me. Though I didn’t leave them with much afterwards!

Valerie and Zelda wasted NO time at all and were on their way to expanding their family on the very first day. :) 

I love their place so much and there isn’t a ton of room to expand beyond one kid, so after this I think it’s gonna be birth control for at least a round or two…

With the last of the money they had after decorating, I bought them a community lot so they could start up a store and earn some money. But after building four walls, they ran out of cash so they had to start digging!

I think Valerie has a lot more luck in this department though.

We have another gamer in the hood! But time to tuck in for bed.

Yep, you guessed right!

Valerie tried out the stand up bass and gathered at least one fan!

Zelda gets her first pop! After this there’s plenty of lounging to do.

They’re getting excited to meet their baby!

Valerie made friends with a stray dog named Max, and she ended up adopting him into the family!

.


Max is loving life as a house pet. Just lots of waiting for someone to drop food whilst cooking, and grooming himself in the warm comfort of the house.

Eating for two now, no time to lose!


.


Funds were very short, making it hard to prepare for a baby on the way and getting their business off the ground. So finding this came just in time!


.

.


With the infusion of Simoleons, they were able to get their business opened. This is Flexible Fitness. Eventually it will be more of a gym, for now it’s just exercise mats!

It’s time for baby to arrive! Zelda delivers their daughter, this is Carla!


.


Carla’s teeny little nursery. I will definitely be employing a top-bunk only bed in here when she’s older to maximize the limited floor space.

They added a couple small trampolines to Flexible Fitness. :)

.


Ending the first round for this little family with Carla getting some snuggles. :) Can’t wait to see her age up to toddler in the next round!

Cuties!! They're such a sweet family. :D Do you have specific requirements for adding new households to Brightmaple or do you just add them as you feel like expanding the town?
(Btw, you probably already know something like this, but my trick for pictures of sims on lots they don't live on is to move them in with the Sim Blender, then quit that lot without saving.)

Their apartment is gorgeous! I'm in love with that living room. *_*

Oooh, the sim-owned gym is a great idea. I'm stashing that away on my business ideas list...

No real rules for adding families, just as I feel like it! If I had a great idea for a new family that's what would be the impetus for me. I try not to do it too often so the population doesn't get too giant, because it will once the next generation starts branching out on their own! I've even toyed with the idea of allowing some of the offspring to become townies so the playable population doesn't become MASSIVE. Then they would have the option of becoming playable again one day. I'm kind of just winging it in Brightmaple haha!

There must be some problem on my side, although I can't determine what it is; your blog is not the first one where I can't see pictures no matter what browser I try. :( If I may ask, where do you host your screenshots? Mayhaps my ip doesn't mash with some popular hosting site for some reason.
