Round Eight - Lewis

Last Round - They used their genie lamp to get some beauty, some wealth, and the ability to cheat death. A burglar broke into the house soon afterwards! Roxanne and Joshua went for a date at Town Centre Park. Xander impressed Hollie Ainsworth with his dance moves. Whitney aged up to an adult, our first generation two adult in Brightmaple! Xander took Hollie out on a date at The Tavern. Whitney moved out at the end of the round, and Roxanne got struck by lightning (but survived!)

As with every day, the Lewis family starts the morning by rushing to be the first one to get to their instrument of choice!


.


Emily gets some play time with Ziggy! Much better now that it's summer time!


.


Roxanne and Joshua went for a day at Treble Town to sell some instruments.

They had a great day! So close to the top!


.

.


Back at home, Joshua opens the mail to find one of these. I'm not really sure who this was intended for, or who it's from - but yuck!



Summertime means random neighbours and friends are always coming by for a soak in the hot tub.


.


Joshua and Roxanne both got some new summer outfits that felt a lot more seasonally appropriate.


.


Gus gets a healthy dose of love and affection from Xander - judging by his blank stare I'm not sure he gets it.



Xander took a turn to go out to make a grocery run for the family.



Xander had his girlfriend Hollie come over and things bloomed for them even further.

The real king and queen of romance around here are these two, though. Here is some dueling serenading going on - really just a typical day for them!



Emily got some more work done on her project car! Hopefully she can fix it up before she's old enough to move out. She will have to pick up the pace on it!

They decided to use the space in Whitney's old bedroom to add yet another instrument to the collection at home, this time a keyboard! Roxanne got right into it!

With the pleasure aspiration, Xander is more susceptible than most to packing on a few extra pounds, so he's trying to work that off a bit on the trampoline.



More drumming time for Joshua :)

They worked their butts off all day long trying to make a sale, but my mysterious glitch was back and not a single person bought anything from their store for the whole day.



The customers preferred to play kicky bag at the back of the building instead.



Their selling skills, while apparently insufficient to actually make anyone buy anything, still kept earning them loyalty stars, and they finally reached Rank 10!


.


Unfortunately, after this the problem with not being able to make one single sale just continued, which seems to happen eventually with all of my owned business lots. I haven't heard anyone else talk about having this issue where well established businesses with lots of loyalty and lots of customers are suddenly unable to sell anything to anyone, ever.

So, since it's no fun playing a business like that, the Lewis' said goodbye to Treble Town. They sold the lot, and purchased a new one to start up a new venture which they will be debuting in the next round...



Back home, I rolled an ROS and Roxanne had to become a witch! It will last at least two full rounds, and we will see whether we extend it beyond that or not.

She's having a great time with her newfound powers.



Joshua on the other hand is not too sure how he feels about his wife's new "abilities".

In fact, it seems to really scare him!

He ran inside and all the way up to the second floor bathroom to gulp down a glass of water in his terror. LOL poor Joshua!

But in spite of that the two of them are still as lovey-dovey as ever!

Xander finally got that extra bit of muscle going again!


.


Big sister Whitney came by to help celebrate, because today is Xander's birthday.



Xander's good friend Angelie was also over for the party.

Xander got right into what he knows best - guitar!



Whitney went up to try out the new keyboard in her old bedroom!

Joshua is still not reconciled to the idea of Roxanne being a witch.



Emily wanted some new summer clothes too, so I took care of that for her!

She took care of spreading some apparently very scandalous gossip!



Gus interrupts the regularly scheduled programming for a blank stare with a beady eye.

Roxanne is still enjoying playing around with her witchy ways!

Even poor witch-hating Joshua isn't immune to her powers. At least she uses them for nothing more malicious than the occasional chicken dance!



Xander hung out with Emilia a bit, because he needs an adult girlfriend now that he is one himself! Sadly the age gap between him and Hollie is going to be a little too much probably.



She tried out the guitar pretty quickly, which is a good sign for any potential mate for this family! She wasn't very good at it, but Xander was very encouraging!

Xander put a little flirt on her, and it seems to have had an effect...



Yes, definitely did!



After this, he decided the next best step was to try and impress her by busting a move.



She seemed a little perplexed at first...



But the gambit payed off!

Inside, totally adorable couch snuggling.



Emilia is obviously a real free spirit, because she hopped into the hot tub bare as an egg...



... with Xander AND Joshua. They politely avoided the fact that she was naked.

Joshua encouraged Xander to keep up on his fitness regime!

His communication with his youngest child was not as smooth and easy.






Roxanne hops on her broom to go meet up for an outing!

Joshua tried doing some karaoke solo!

Emilia came and met them too, and joined Xander for a duet, even though she didn't know the song too well.

They all sat down for a meal, with Estelle as their waitress.



Lots of time spent in the hot tub back at home!

Emilia just really loves using their hot tub nude, she doesn't get what the problem is?

Ziggy is now an elder!

Roxanne is saying something Dahlia doesn't like, but it doesn't seem to phase her!



Joshua has a better chat with Sawyer, somehow.

Emilia hops her nekkid butt out of the hot tub...

Xander asks Emilia to move in and she brings and actually fairly healthy amount of funds!



Now that she lives here she finally puts on a bathing suit to get in the hot tub.



But, it's time for these two to move out and start their own life together!

That's it for their round! Next up we're going to see Whitney in her new home for the first time - our first second generation Sim in Brightmaple moved out on their own!
