kayleigh83 | Round Eight

Last Round - (This is Whitney's first solo round after moving out on her own, last round she was with her family). They used their genie lamp to get some beauty, some wealth, and the ability to cheat death. A burglar broke into the house soon afterwards! Roxanne and Joshua went for a date at Town Centre Park. Xander impressed Hollie Ainsworth with his dance moves. Whitney aged up to an adult, our first generation two adult in Brightmaple! Xander took Hollie out on a date at The Tavern. Whitney moved out at the end of the round, and Roxanne got struck by lightning (but survived!)

Whitney has moved out and started her own life in a bright little third floor apartment! This building used to be lived in by Judy & Mateo, and Drew & Jane but all the other playables have moved out to bigger homes at this point.

Pink and teal are the primary decorating colours for her home.

The swingset on the common green is really popular with residents of all ages.

I almost forgot to include a guitar for her, but I took care of that quickly.

Whitney also got a furry little companion, Pinky the womrat.

Off to Town Centre Park, the best place to enjoy the summer weather and meet more of her neighbours!

Back at the homestead, Whitney has a thing for her neighbour Dave and keeps trying to put the moves on him.

So far it doesn't really seem to be working. :(

Now we get to the point where the household is properly christened with its first kitchen fire!

Whitney runs all the way down three flights of stairs so she can panic in the lobby. This was actually one of the most prudent safety measures I've ever seen a Sim take.

The firefighter shows up to take care of business.

The grilled cheese sandwich is charred, but still intact.

Whitney invited over her friend Paloma to hang out at her new place.

It was time for Whitney to start earning some rent money, so she purchased herself a community lot to begin her business.

She opted to open a clothing store, and name it "The Plumb Boutique". Right now its decor (and stock) is very minimalist.

But, people are buying!

The first session was of course in the red because it included set up costs, but $1380 revenue for the first day isn't bad!

At home, Whitney enjoy a bowl of cereal while Pinky tries to escape behind her.

A little jam session on the guitar as well.

At the store, things are picking up pace very quickly!

She tries some aggressive sales tactics with Sawyer.

A little gentler with Dahlia.

Success with both!

Even the good witch stopped in to see if she was stocking witch hats (not yet, but she's open to ordering some if there's demand).

Yay! Business continues to go great.

Now this is looking like a proper store!

Whitney continues to try and seduce Dave, this time a much bolder move of laying naked on her bed and calling for him to come in.

Unfortunately that also didn't work; he just jumped, shrieked, and left the room. Poor Whitney! Swing and a miss!

Her dad stopped by as well, perhaps to impart some advice about romance.

She tried a more subtle approach (talking, fully clothed) and it seemed to be making some difference!

She invited over her brother Xander to visit.

As well as Paloma, and her boyfriend Gabriel.

They made some hot dogs on the barbecue.

It always seems like some kind of cliffhanger drama arises right at the end of a round though. Xander and Paloma had an ACR driven heart-farting extravaganza kiss, right in front of her boyfriend Gabriel.
