Round Eight - Blondeau-Dias

Last Round - Gabriel is out on his own in his own house, which used to be the first Blondeau family home. Gabriel went on quite a lot of dates, including with Paloma, who he connected with at her birthday party. He opened a business, which is a drop in rec centre type of place. Basically just somewhere to have fun! He bought a pet parrot named Hank, and a pet cat named Miso. At the end of the round, Paloma moved in with him!

As is the custom in Brightmaple, every round starts with an ACR woohoo almost immediately. You can set your clock to it!

Gabriel rolled the ROS to get glasses, this seems to be a super common occurrence in my neighbourhood! Over 40 ROS scenarios on the list but I’ve hit glasses a handful of times and there are plenty I haven’t rolled even once!

Paloma is a fan, and so is Hank the parrot!

Paloma wanted to go out and do something, so they went out to the Plumbbean Coffee Co to hang out. Her mom Ines was there too! She grabbed some cappuccino and tried out her comedy skills (such as they are) on the open mic.

Gabriel is a shameless romance Sim, so it wasn’t five minutes after he was slow dancing with Paloma that he was whispering sweet nothings into some townie’s ear.

Miso the cat doesn’t really get what’s going on most of the time.



I couldn't remember this love with Xander happening, but I realized it was during Whitney's last round! Sims and the ACR oy, they keep you on your toes....

Miso is VERY unfriendly towards poor Whitney. Hank completely disapproves.

Gabriel has a goal in mind and is doing the most he can to reach it!

Wild night for Gabriel and Paloma!

Sadly, they woke up in the morning to find poor Hank had shuffled off this mortal coil. They were pretty broken up about it :(


.

They came for a day of work at the Orange Zone but Paloma got a little distracted by some fireflies, who were oddly hanging out in the daytime.



Inside she’s so excited to find someone who will actually talk to her about grilled cheese!

Their drop in rec-centre is always really popular and fun for them to “work” at too, and it’s a pretty low overhead type of business too!

Another cozy afternoon at home for these two. Gabriel unloads some of his substandard tomatoes into the fridge and they get some cooking done. And canoodling!



They went out so Paloma could buy some new clothes, and bumped into her mom again which they seem to do absolutely everywhere.

They went to Whitney’s store, and said hello to her as well. I presume also apologized again for their cat’s terrible behaviour when she visited the other day.



Gabriel is looking anxious to be done shopping!

Enjoying the summer weather with a little football outside!

Paloma had her whole family over, except her sister Estelle who was working.


.


But the family cat Blanche was there too, and made herself very comfortable by the vegetable patch!

Miso and Blanche didn’t hit it off very well, but that seems to be the usual for Miso at least.



Paloma is very happy because her mom is making her a grilled cheese sandwich! Hers are the best!

Miso and Blanche reach a sort of truce, so they can watch TV with Paloma and Isaac.

Lazy afternoon again - Gabriel is doing some reading, and Paloma is feeling queasy for… some reason…??

Another tough day at work!

Poor Paloma is still feeling really queasy, so she took a daytime nap!

She woke up feeling very overheated and flushed - it’s a hot summer!

Then she grabbed a glass of water, and broke the tap! -_- Ohhh man…

Gabriel works on fixing the kitchen tap. Miso wants to help!

We have our first POP finally! Baby is starting to make a showing!

Kira and Alice come to visit. They were Gabriel’s high school host family when he was an exchange student!

Paloma doesn’t take kindly to people trying to touch her belly.

Gabriel and Paloma’s round finishes up with a little love for Miso, and the two of them excited for baby to arrive next time!
