Round Eight - Harrison-Roth

Last Round - (Angelie lived at home last round and this is her first round on her own!) They opened a new pub business to replace The Tavern, again due to glitches. The rash of burglaries continued in their home. Kitty Mabel passed away :( Angelie had her adult birthday! She called the matchmaker for a date, and Joanna showed up. They had a lovely date, came home and hopped into bed and... chimes! So Joanna moved in, and then they moved out to their own place together.



Angelie and Joanna had moved out into their own place at the end of the last round, so it was time to decorate!

I went with a mid-century modern style in their place and I love how cozy it turned out. The windows in the front of the house go well with the style too. This house was the first home of the Park family!

The last round had ended with Angelie becoming pregnant, so I had a nursery set up and ready to go for baby on the way!

At the top of the round, I decided I wanted a new look for Angelie, so off she went to Whitney’s clothing shop! A whole new look that suits her quite well I think. :)

These two were rolling a lot of “get engaged” wants, so who am I to deny love? Angelie proposed to Joanna and they are now officially engaged. :)

They woke up in the middle of the night because… POP! Baby is making itself known.

.
.


They were wide awake now in the middle of the night, and very low on funds, so it was time to go digging. Besides one water pipe accident, they did uncommonly well - between them they found about five hidden treasure maps!


.


Angelie rolled an ROS to get the grilled cheese secondary, and honestly I swear that’s half the town now!



But now I know her and Joanna are meant to be - usually when my poor grilled cheese Sims try to talk about it, other Sims get mad and stick their fingers in their ears. But Joanna is enthused by the topic every time! And she has no grilled cheese secondary at all.

It was high time Joanna and Angelie got a business running - they needed to take out a loan to get it set up even with all the goodies they dug up in their yard, but hopefully they can pay it back quickly.

Joanna takes the first shift at the bookstore, and overall it goes well!

Angelie’s family was invited over. Her dad Sawyer immediately got distracted by his video games, but he does tend to be a little on the anti-social side.

The reason her family was there… it was wedding time! Joanna took the last name Harrison. :)

They tied to knot just in time, as it was stork time not too long after the wedding took place!

.


Angelie and Joanna welcomed little baby Starla Harrison into Brightmaple! Starla is the very first 3rd generation born in game Sim in Brightmaple!

Joanna and Angelie are so in love with their little Starla, and Sawyer and Dahlia are very excited about their first grandchild!

Starla plays hard and she naps hard.

We got some chimes here and with little Starla barely born, this time Joanna is pregnant!

A really productive day in the bookstore for Angelie, as she ranks up not once, but twice!

Xander came by to visit them at their new place, and while he was there a fire started in the kitchen! Everyone panicked of course. Joanna remembered to get Starla out of there!

Xander sat down to use the computer and it promptly broke. Starting to think maybe he’s bad luck…. or some witch hexed him or something? Hmmm…

.


It’s so peaceful at night in Brightmaple. I love how the light from the streetlights streams in the big front windows in this house.

Joanna’s pregnancy is now showing! Angelie says a little hello to baby.

Another productive day in the bookstore for Angelie, ranking up. She stays late into the evening to make sure every customer finds that perfect book!

.


At home Joanna is taking care of some weeding in the containers out front, and smelly little Starla needs a bath!

Some friends from the neighbourhood come by for a visit.

.


Joanna’s belly grows a little bit more right before bed, and that’s the end of this round for them! Next round we’ll get to meet the new addition. :)
