Round Eleven - Blondeau II

Last Round - Estelle is out on her own for the first time. She got a woodworking bench and is enjoying her tinkering hobby! She adopted a kitten named Whiskers to keep her cat Noodle company. Estelle was an awful family Sim, becoming romantically involved with more than one guy but rolling zero family related wants. I'm debating changing her aspiration to popularity since she rolls more wants for friends than anything else?



Whiskers and Noodle have to work out a shared custody agreement of the one food bowl.





Estelle is FINALLY rolling some wants that hint at wanting to settle down with someone? Or at least showing some kind of interest in acting like a real Family Sim.



Her ROS was to shop at all of the businesses in town, what a good citizen! So I started sending her out to as many retail stores as I could. First, off to Charged Electronics to grab a remote control car, she'll love this since she is a tinkerer!





At Exerto Warehouse she bought a small trampoline.



Not much was left in stock when she showed up at Games World, I think she bought a computer game?



She bumped into her friend Emily Lewis here. :)







Sadly, while Estelle was out, Noodle's life came to its end :( She didn't get too long with her but she gave this senior cat a great home for the end of her life!







Enjoying her new toy car!



She has plenty of money at the moment so opening a business isn't a priority, she's selling what she makes from this woodworking bench for now as a bit of extra income!





Out for another day of shopping! Today she went to Sul Sul Ceramics, and Grandma's Attic Antiques.



She was keeping her eyes out for eligible bachelors (OK, I was) but no luck. Everyone was either the wrong gender, gay, or disinterested in her. Oh well...



Bored again with trying to find romance, she smells the flowers outside instead.



Spring has sprung!



A stop at the community pool next, just for fun. Callum liked what he saw! But I don't think that will be happening.



One of our town bullies, Ariella, was harassing poor Carla.



She didn't seem to like a taste of her own medicine when Carla fought back.



Estelle took a little dip herself.





While she was there, she made a call to Jarvis, one of her dates from last round. It seems like he might be her best bet for future romance, so no time like the present to work on that!



The lineup for the hot tub is always like this, too bad there's not room to put a second one in!



Back home, Estelle's new remote control car is in pieces, and stinky Whiskers back there looks just a little too non-chalant about the whole thing.



Estelle invited Jarvis over again, and things progressed in a nice way pretty much immediately..







I like these two together! And she was finally rolling wants about him too.





And him about her too... REALLY good wants! FINALLY!



Time to strike while the iron's hot!

Jarvis - Fortune - Scorpio - 6 / 5 / 8 / 3 / 3 - Likes fitness and makeup, dislikes stink

I'm fairly certain Jarvis was made by Jellybeanery, but their blog is gone so I can't confirm. I'm pretty certain I didn't create him myself though.

*waggles eyebrows*



They went off to the clothing store - first order of business was Estelle picking out her wedding dress. <3



She also got herself a new outfit for the warmer weather! Still purple and still a skirt, since she's been wearing only skirts since she was a teen, I think that's her style!



Jarvis approves!



Back home we find out what Jarvis' hobby is!

Estelle's brother Isaac comes over and meets her fiance.









I can't see Estelle having a business, I can't think of anything good for her besides selling some of her woodworking stuff - right now she just sells it direct so I imagine she uses Plopsy or something ;) Maybe in the future she could have a store where she sells it but I wasn't feeling motivated about it. But I wanted Jarvis to have a business, and it's been a while since Brightmaple had a resident owned bar type establishment. Since Jarvis has the sports hobby, I had him open up a sports bar! (I didn't write down a name so I honestly can't remember if I thought of one yet)



But here it is so far! I love how it turned out! I had to get real creative with OMSP's, off grid placement, and that big square rack looking light fixture to place the TVs above the bar area like that, but I'm so happy how it turned out.



A pool table too for extra entertainment! I think I'll add some vending machines in next time I play them too. I just sent Jarvis to the lot to "supervise" the building for now, he had to get home without actually opening the business to customers this day, because they had something important on the agenda.



Back home, Estelle made a few calls and they headed out...



Off to Town Centre Park to have their wedding!





They are now Jarvis and Estelle Brand!



Members of Estelle's family were there! Niece Adela in her cute little dress.



Her siblings and brother in law Dev too!



Everyone congratulated the newly married couple.





Back home, I think we know who the culprit was with the remote control car...



CHIMES!



Yes I think it's definitely case closed here...

Next round we get to see a baby Brand! Estelle is far enough along in her life that I think this will be an only child for them. I advanced Jarvis' age a bit when he moved in, since they were quite far apart in age and he had been in the neighbourhood for such a long time. He is still a bit younger than her overall though.

I feel like no matter what, this baby is gonna have some cute ears! Maybe having adorably unique ears is what drew Estelle and Jarvis together lol.
