Round Twelve - Park II

Last Round - Alice kept working on her business, the antiques store. She forgot to pay rent, and kept working on witchy skills too. She had a friend date at a pub downtown with Gabriel, and also had her brother Simon and niece Hannah over to visit. She invited some friends over for a little get together at her apartment too. Then she met up with her brother and niece again at the playground, and randomly planted a kiss on Marco Rossi! He's spoken for!



At the start of her round I remembered to roll her ROS, and it was for a secondary aspiration. She rolled Pleasure for this, so now she is Popularity/Pleasure - Alice is a lot of fun to be around!



Meanwhile it's still a peaceful night outside.



Besides the stereo outside in the common area that seems to be on 24/7.



Alice gets up to make herself breakfast, but it seems she's neglected to stock up on groceries recently!



So she hops on her broom to take herself out for breakfast instead. This stray cat can't believe his eyes!



She flew all the way downtown to go to Flo's Rockin' Diner for their famous breakfast.







Paloma was there to supervise her omelette.



Time to fly out of there!



She's having the time of her life zipping around on that broom, can't blame her!



The next stop was her store, Grandma's Attic Antiques. Might as well get a little work done while she's out and about! There's Marco, her random kiss victim from last round.



Another rank and more money! She could pay back a little more of her loan now.



Her cashier Sylvia is getting more confident with the cash register.



Next she tried to go to the grocery store which is owner by her sister, but something glitched and she would not ring her up? She waited for hours! I'm noticing this issue on several business lots - if I am playing with a Sim and they visit another Sim's business, the owner will not ring them up but one of their employees will. But in this case it was just Winnie working, so she never did it. But she would help other Sims and townies that were not currently playable? I don't get it!



In any case, the attempt was made, so I let Alice go home and order groceries, and she finally got to cook some dinner!



Then a little TV before bed.



Next day, I decided it was time for Alice to have a new look! She cut her hair and got a cool lavender lipstick too, and a new pair of glasses!



Then she went out to the clothing store to get a new outfit too.



She seems like she'd be an overalls fan! Also has a matching hairstyle with the store clerk behind her.



One of her friends, Meiko, came over to hang out. They chatted in Alice's witchy den.





Remy the rat got some attention!



Not sure how he feels about it.



Time to be serious and study her spellbook for a bit.



Hermes was wanting attention too, he's very social and his needs bar for that goes down so quickly.



Alice also picked up some comfy new pajamas when she was out buying clothes!



Up in the morning and straight to the computer to play The Sims... hmmm, can't relate.... lol





More witchy stuff, making reagents while both of her familiars are watching.





Time for another day out and about! Alice went to go check out Isaac Blondeau's newly opened Action Arcade.





Gotta get some snacks from that vending machine first though!





Fierce concentration!



She wanted to be better friends with Jalil, and I think that's a great idea since they both have the science hobby, so they have that in common!



She invited him to come hang out and they had a fun time chatting.





Time for everyone to get to bed though!



Rainy summer night. (this was when I finally remembered to download a default replacement for those awful stop signs)



Next day, back to the shop. Whitney with her awful makeup was there!



And the reporter. who gave the store a good review! Yay!



Time to restock her wares before heading home for the day.



I remembered that she can stargaze and get a little science enthusiasm even without a telescope!





Stargazing really works up an appetite I guess!





Hermes sits amongst the wreckage of several catnip toys he's destroyed.

That's it for her round here! I don't know if Alice will meet her special someone ever, but I'm still really enjoying her living her single and carefree life a lot, so I'm good with it!

Oh, Alice looks very cool with the new makeover!
When the cashier thing happens, I always just make the sim selectable and send them to ring my sim up.

Why didn't I think of that lol!! Next time! Although it still is bugging me why it's happening! It happened on another lot but luckily they did have another employee who ended up ringing up the purchase in the end.
I loved getting to use that cool purple lipstick, it totally suits her!
