Round Thirteen - Park

Last Round - Alyssa gave birth to their second baby, a son named Miles! Hannah was forming a really cute friendship with her Uncle Oliver. Miles had a birthday and became a cute toddler. BRIGHTHAUS was doing well, and Parsley continued his attention seeking behaviour.



Their round starts, and Miles is up to his usual hijinks, loitering by the end of his parents bed in the middle of the night. Why aren't you in bed?



They snooze on unaware.



Here are the toys that uncle Oliver bought them!





Hannah seems very happy to be off to school today. Must be because it's Friday!



Alyssa was off at work too (at The Snack Shack) so it was just the boys around the house, daddy and Miles!





Oh, and Parsley is one of the boys too!









Miles is really learning to love this jack in the box.







Parsley innocently munches, unaware a predator is lurking...



Ack! He's been caught!



Simon needs to learn to stop telling dirty jokes to his sister Winnie because she NEVER likes them.





Sabine Blondeau came home with Hannah after school on Friday!



So... I can't remember exactly how he got here, I think he might be a friend of Alyssa's? But in any case, townie Tyler was also visiting this night. Simon's sister Winnie recently hired him to work at her grocery store. So here the two of them are... and then ACR kicks in and they start flirting!!!!



Winnie, what about Oliver?! :O



I had Simon ask him to leave :/ :/ :/



Parsley is our unproblematic boy.





Time to do some work at the gallery!



Here's Tyler now :| Dang it why can't you have some sparks fly with some eligible SINGLE straight ladies in my hood?



Poor Emily and her tragic hair.



At home the kids are enjoying their toys together.



And Parsley gets some more love! He always wants attention this one!



So it was time for their house to get an expansion! Both kids were due to be aging up this round and I didn't think a teenage girl and a little boy would want to keep sharing one small bedroom. So a second floor was added, the main downstairs bathroom was relocated a bit, and a new bathroom and two bedrooms are upstairs.

Plans for the third bedroom are TBD since Simon and Alyssa will not be having more kids, for now it's just a spare room. I didn't decorate everything right away so more pics of that later in the update!



Here's another important new addition - they adopted one of Winnie's kittens (well, not a kitten anymore). They got Chowder!



Hannah got him playing with the feather toy! Turned himself into a little pretzel.



He immediately knew where to be when Simon started preparing fish for dinner though.



Miles was very upset his sister was monopolizing the jack in the box.



The rest of the new downstairs bathroom was pretty uninteresting, but I really liked this little cluttered up shelf so I took a picture of that at least.





Hannah autonomously started cleaning the tub, sweet girl.



That night it was double birthday time! Both Hannah and Miles were due to age up.



First up was Hannah! She got her Family aspiration assigned (her brother will be the same once he's at teen too, they're both Pisces). She also rolled these turn ons/offs and gender pref.



Here is beautiful Hannah as a teenager! Fair bit of resemblance to her mom I think.



And here's Miles! I think he takes a bit more after his dad. I think this hair still suits him as a kid so he's keeping it for now.



Now it was time to get serious about decorating the new rooms, and boy did I! I was feeling really inspired, and normally bedrooms are some of my least favourites to decorate so I tend to keep them fairly simple. But I really went all in on the kids rooms here and I love how they both turned out!



Upstairs is Hannah's new bedroom.





And downstairs in the room they used to share, it was redecorated to be just Miles room!







He got right into some of his new toys.



And Hannah got into diary writing.



Chowder found her bed rather quickly as well.



Next day sees Simon back at BRIGHTHAUS for another day selling works of modern art!





The work pays off with a rank up for the business!



Aunt Alice stopped by and said hello to Hannah.



Not so sure about this homework business.



And it looks like Miles has the same hobby as his dad, fitness! Maybe that third bedroom is gonna have to be a home gym...



Telling all the juicy gossip to aunt Alice.





Even Miles cleans up autonomously, and he's only got 4 neatness points! Such good kids.



First things first in the morning, Hannah is checking herself out and making kissy faces. Love to see a confident girl!



She's just so freaking cute!



Meanwhile I'm happy to report that these two are getting along great!





Simon got out of the house for a bit and went to the pool.



He kept backing off of the diving board but not like he was scared? Finally I realized what the issue was.



Just a couple Sims having a walk-on-water chat!



I've noticed some weird glitches with the pool lately and I think it was caused by a mod I downloaded that allowed Sims to chat while swimming. Not sure if the mod itself is the issue or it conflicts with something else I have, but for now I removed it and hopefully that solves the issues.



Now that our miraculous obstacles were out of the way, Simon was free to execute the perfect cannonball.





Back home, Miles was getting into some computer game, and that's gonna do it for their round this time! :)

I know, my ACR usually behaves itself for the most part so I was surprised! She's not a romance Sim or anything, but not sure if maybe he is?

They really are an adorable family! Who would have thought that Simon would be the Park-kid who's (happily) married with children? Both kids are super cute!
Hopefully ACR will behave in the future!

I know right? It was surprising to me that both his sisters haven't ended up having any kids either! None of them are family Sims but he was the only romance Sim so he seemed the least likely of all!
