Round Fourteen - Amiri

Last Round - Stinky Monty tried the agility equipment at the park, and they finally got a bathtub at home so he can be bathed there. Jalil gave birth to a little alien baby boy named Navid! He grew up into a super adorable toddler! Darius hired an employee to help out at Amiri Home Goods, townie Meiko. They had chemistry, so he asked her out on a date and it went very well. She came over, they woohooed in the hot tub and she ended up pregnant, so she moved in with him! For the next round Jalil and Navid will move out to their own place.



Jalil and Navid did indeed move into a new house! They moved right out of Downtown Heights and into Brightmaple proper, into this cute family home. You can watch the speed build video of it here if you like!



Here's a few highlights of the interiors!







Navid's room is of course space themed.

As a Knowledge Sim it's important to Jalil that Navid have a proper grounding in education!

I want Jalil to get proficient at robotics - I have a mod that changes the robot bench to science enthusiasm which is his hobby. His dream is to one day have a Servo, but he's got a lot of work to do first. He can also sell the toy robots for now, not very lucrative but as a single father he can't really work outside the home yet. I don't allow nannies except for vacations, although my Sims can invite friends and family over and ask them to babysit. But that's not the most reliable for even a part time job! So this will have to make ends meet for now.



Jarvis stopped by to welcome them to the neighbourhood.



Mr Personality desperate to make friends - unlike his dad who is more on the shy side, Navid has 10 outgoing points.





Jarvis and Jalil discussed the merits of pet ownership.



Back at work!



Jalil keeps himself entertained in his room pretty well.



Trying to teach him how to say dada!





Another day, and time for breakfast :)



He keeps trying to get him to talk but isn't making much headway.



It's time for Navid's birthday, and despite being outgoing, seems like Navid doesn't want his dad to throw him a party!



So they celebrate just the two of them and get to share the whole cake.



He's a little boy now!



Here he is after a little bit of an update. He definitely seems to take after his other dad, PT Pictor!



Chatting over dinner - Jalil did make proper dinner so they weren't just eating cake, very responsible.





The first toy he picked out of his toy chest was the rocket ship :)



Off for his first day of school!



It's snowing * * *



And inside Jalil keeps hammering away (literally) on his robot bench.





There's quite a bit of snow after school - Navid spent some time playing in the yard!





Even got a snowman built too!





Jalil has a romance secondary (hopeless romantic variety) so it would be nice if we can find the right one for him!



He makes a call to the one person he's got fairly high chemistry and relationship with...



Gloria!



Unfortunately she's coming off the heels of a round where she went on three dates with Nolan the townie, and her wants panel looks like this... so Jalil has an uphill battle.



But we'll see where it goes! They're already quite good friends, both are Knowledge A so they have a fair bit in common too.



And it didn't take long for her Nolan wants to roll away.



Unproblematic dream child Navid once again quietly keeps himself busy playing in his room while his dad entertains his date.



Yup, best you stay in that room kid. Maybe put some headphones in...





In the morning Jalil helped him out with his homework before the school bus came.





Awwww Navid!! We'll see what we can do pal...



They had an ROS to visit a community lot this round, so they went to the original Town Centre Park! Connor said hello.



Navid went straight for the mic to sing loudly and off key.



He really put his whole chest in it though, bless him.





Quiet evening at home.



Gloria dropped off a nice chess table after the date - lovely sentiment but really they need the money, so we'll be selling that.



Jalil is up to some old tricks with the telescope on this frosty night....





Well well well!





Off he goes!



Navid can sense something is up.



He waits up for his dad to get back home.



In the wee morning hours...





He's back!

Guess Navid is getting that new family member he hoped for :$
 

Oh and also look, he progressed beyond toy robots!



He doesn't know any kids yet even after a couple days at school, but he checked the online chat and Paolo was there, so they briefly said hello.





Love this flailing arms little kid dance so much.







Oh man!!! And once again my burglar alarm isn't working, there's some kind of glitch in my game and I don't know what it is! I don't even know how to test for it because a burglar would have to come for me to know if it's working again or not? This is getting frustrating.



Not the telescope!! :( :(



I had a feeling Navid would get out of bed and to the phone faster, and I was right.



Unfortunately, the cop was worse than useless.



I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas!

So that concludes their round! Next time though, we will see a new sibling for Navid! It will be interesting if both of their PT's are Pictor and they're full siblings, but probably more likely they will just be half siblings. We'll see!

I was hoping I could do something like that, do you know if it's like instant or you have to wait til the next night or something? It's so annoying, I don't know what suddenly made it stop working. I don't have any burglary related mods except the burglars lecture not fight but I've had it for years.
