Round Fifteen - Brand

Last Round - Clementine and Marceline had a birthday and became children! Estelle encouraged Clem to be shy, which I only just realized actually does affect her personality points! They got a new pet, a hedgehog named Prickles. Jarvis got a makeover, and Estelle had a girls night out with some friends downtown to celebrate before her own birthday, where she became an elder.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Estelle is the middle child of founder Ines Blondeau and her husband Noah. Her older sister is Paloma and her younger brother is Isaac. She married Jarvis Brand and they had twin girls Marceline and Clementine (who is the only Sim in the extended Blondeau family thus far to inherit Ines' blonde hair! {and possibly her blue eyes too although they could also be from dad Jarvis}) and their cousins are Adela, Chandler, Anya and Sabine.
The round begins early in the morning with the penguin discussing algebraic equations with a half-built snowman.
Estelle gets up and tends to less abstract concerns, like breakfast!
The ROS involved using influence points to be a bad influence, and I rolled for Clem, but it turns out she's probably too young to have gained enough points yet to do much of anything. I had intended to try and get her more to fulfill this if possible

Meanwhile Jarvis heads out to the Scoreboard.

Marceline is excited about her report card, but mom is too distracted by the cat.

In the morning Marcy catches up on her homework.
While Clementine sleeps late!
But she manages to squeeze it in before the bus arrives!
Jarvis' friend Adrian stops by to visit!
He's happy to have someone to toss the football with.
Navid came over after school and played some Mary Mack with Clementine.
But tonight is a big night, Jarvis' birthday!
A little wardrobe change and here's Jarvis! This shade of blue brings out his eyes a lot.

Adrian, that's a really weird thing to be doing. Some might say menacing.
In the morning the girls look after their pet related chores.
I gave the exterior of their house an overhaul, including rooflines, because I was never totally happy with it.
This front area became a nice patio for them to spend time on!
Spring has truly sprung around here!
Telling Marina all about why she should come in.
Look at the space for smustling! Her niece Starla was there too.
Speaking of Starla, her and Jarvis started being mean to one another for some reason (probably that they both have low nice points).
Despite antagonizing the customers, the business gains another rank.
Clementine called up Sally Woods and asked if she wanted to come over and play!
All the girls watched a movie together.
Mom and dad enjoyed the lovely evening out on the patio.

People standing creepily behind Marceline while she plays with her dollhouse seems to be a theme this week...

Estelle and Jarvis went out for a nice date at the Town Centre Park.

I bought this wading pool hoping it would be some kind of group activity the kids could enjoy together but sadly not.
So they all just hung out inside instead! (and with the help of move objects they weren't talking to each other through the couch)
Jarvis got this cool fingerprint scanner thing for some reason? I had some kind of in game reason I've forgotten, but realistically I just saw it in the catalogue and wanted to play with it. I think it's an unlocked career reward or something?
He enjoyed using it anyways!
Normally I just sell Estelle's woodworks and pretend she has an online Simsy shop or something, but I wanted to do something a little different for her, so she set up some tables and had a sidewalk sale!
Brother Isaac and husband's friend Adrian came out to show their support!
Feels almost cheaty to have the opportunity for even more cash rewards, but this method of doing business is meant to be temporary for her anyways, and they can always use the cash since they usually have so little of it.

More birthdays, this time the girls are ready to become teens!

Clem's going to be a romance A aspiration (serial romancer), and she's bi and into brunette Sims who love animals, and aren't overly logical. As you can see from her look, I get kind of free spirit vibes from her (a bit Phoebe from Friends).
Marceline on the other hand will be a family B aspiration (big happy family, same as Estelle) and she's into blonde guys who are logical, but not overly creative. I think of her as more of the Monica to her sister's Phoebe lol. I also decided to change her hobby to cuisine (not meant to be a Monica reference too but now that I see it...) because I felt like tinkering wasn't really her thing.
I'm being more loose about allowing myself to change some personality things like this that are normally randomized, because I want to be able to connect and agree with my Sim's characters!
Anyways, that's it for their round now! Can't wait to see more of what these girls get up to in their teen years!
