Round Fifteen - Park-Crosby

Last Round - They continued to dote on their cats. They got new outerwear which accidentally ended up matching! Then they went on a romantic date downtown at the retro diner. Winnie's brother Simon and niece Hannah came over for dinner one night. The grocery store was doing well too, although one employee quit.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

The widest family tree so far since both members of this household were born in game! Oliver is the oldest child of founder Drew Crosby and his first wife Jane - he has a brother Connor, a sister Melena and his half sister Louise. Winnie is the youngest child of founders Kira and Ryan Park, her older siblings are Simon and Alice. Winnie and Oliver have been together since they were teens and although they've remained childfree, they have six nieces and nephews (Paolo, Luca, Sloane, Felix, Hannah and Miles) and three cats (Kimchi, Pebbles and Jellybean).

Then a little gossip about the neighbours.



Winnie headed out to the community garden to get some veggies for restocking the fridge!





She said hello to Oliver's stepmom Tessa who was also there!



They talked about Winnie's upcoming birthday!



The good witch's familiar looks a lot like the cats at home!





Oliver and Dev unwound in the hot tub after shooting some hoops together.





Pizza night!





Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking.





Then a bit of hobby pursuits - toy making for Winnie and watching the game for Oliver.



Off to work at Park's Market. As always Winnie goes straight for the rake when they arrive.



At work Oliver got a call from his niece Sloane, I guess she heard from his other niece Hannah that he's the cool uncle!





They enthusiastically discussed fish, among other things.



But there was lots of work done that day too, those groceries don't sell themselves! (sometimes they do but you know...)





Back home, they unwound after work...



I'd been wanting to give the cat room (aka the garage) a makeover for ages but didn't have any ideas. I did a little googling for inspiration and finally came up with a cute plan!





I even got a little wild with the OMSP's!







Winnie's siblings are here to help her celebrate her birthday!





Ready to enter into a new phase of life!





Here she is! This hair still suits her the most so I'm keeping that style.



Her nephew Miles called to wish her a happy birthday too! :)



Everyone packed into the hot tub for a soak after.









And of course cake!

Work the next day is humming along beautifully!

The fireman shows up to take care of a tree fire, faster than the rain!





Chatting with her nephew Miles again! He's a Family Sim so it's so cute how he always seems to get along so well with both his aunts.

Oliver's evening pursuits are a little more athletic.



Oliver asked Winnie out on a date, they decided to go to the Plumbbean Coffee Co!





Played a little chess.





And Winnie bought a pie for them to share! I wanted to make something happen with this useless seating area lol.






Now right at the end of the round, for the first time, Oliver rolled a want to get married???

I actually did try to send them to another community lot and have him propose to her, but the option didn't come up! I forget if there was no propose option at all, or if the propose submenu didn't include engagement? I tried resetting them and everything but no luck, no idea what the glitch is. I have no problem with others getting engaged. These two have been forever in love since teenagers so no idea what's happening there.

I hope you can get the engagement glitch solved, this is so weird! Maybe it is a mod conflict?

Thanks, I had a lot of fun with it!
I will have to double check what's going on, I only recently got Tessa and Ellis engaged and there were no issues there! So maybe it's just between the two of them? It's odd!

That want comes a little late. But better late than never!

I have a glitch that sometimes my sims get randomly engaged to other sims so that they can't propose either. They don't even have to know that sim. I don't know what causes it. Maybe try the "Make me know everyone" function and see if one of them might be officially engaged to someone else?
