Round Fifteen - Park

Last Round - The ROS was an ISBI-light - I could only control Simon for two days! Much zany bed-swapping ensued, and Hannah missed school and went to the gallery with Simon one day. Simon became an elder! Hannah met Jamie Perry at the pool and they had huge three-bolt chemistry - later on, they had a first kiss and are shaping up to be an adorable couple. At the end of the round, Miles became a teen!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Simon is the oldest son of founders Kira and Ryan Park. He has two younger sisters, Winnie and Alice. Simon married Alyssa (a surprise after his wild romance Sim youth) and they had two kids, Hannah and Miles. They have no cousins as neither Alice nor Winnie had any kids of their own, but Hannah is really close with her uncle Oliver (Crosby) who is Winnie's partner, and Miles is close with his aunt Alice.
Alyssa has had a real bad turn at the salon it seems!
First on the agenda (after fixing up poor Alyssa) was giving Miles' room a makeover now that he's not a little boy anymore!
Simon and Alyssa head to work at BRIGHTHAUS and it looks like his cashier has stayed out in the cold for far too long.

Very sadly while they were out, Parsley passed! So soon in the round I hadn't even taken any pictures of him yet! So I'm just gonna insert one right here from a previous round just for posterity - goodbye sweet Parsley!
Chowder was very sad!
And so were Hannah and Miles who were the first ones to get home that day.
Miles does a little homework, which Hannah should really think about doing too...
She spends a good deal of time on the phone with her boyfriend Jamie before Alyssa decides to intervene and make sure some homework does get done.
Meiko walked by outside. Simon went to greet her and I was a little wary - they dated before he settled down with Alyssa (and her with Darius) and there's still some residual feelings there, at least on his side. I was ready to use the break up interaction just to pre-empt anything, but he almost immediately pulled out his handheld game and started rudely playing it right in front of her lol.
Then I looked away for just a moment, and he had suddenly made his move and tried to kiss her!!
But bless her, Meiko completely rejected him lol.
And that took care of itself, no "break up" needed! Funny enough Simon got a memory of "having an affair with Meiko".... OK bud, pretty sure you tried to kiss her and she pushed you away, but whatever you have to tell yourself.

The kids are busy looking after their own needs before school this morning. Where are Simon and Alyssa?
Oh, they're... occupied...
Tidying up from breakfast and off onto the bus, and not a moment too soon...
After school the kids brought home a couple of new teen townies I added to the hood! They're by Minicule and Hazelpuff, aged down to teens. There are a few others we will meet soon I'm sure!
Aunt Alice stopped on the sidewalk outside to play fetch with the neighbourhood wolfie.
Their ROS this round was to dine out somewhere, so they went to the Japanese restaurant downtown!
They got a great table in front of the window downstairs. I still just love the whole vibe of this place.

Meanwhile Simon continues his theme of annoying former girlfriends this round! Hiroko was not amused.
Again, he seems to be a little delusional when it comes to his effect on women who aren't his wife these days.
Speaking of her, back home she's having a little trouble with this engine she's been working on!
Time to get cleaned up.

And Hannah's lifestage collage so far, in the new style I'm using with space for her elder portrait one day on the end. Unintentionally kept a white(ish) shirt theme for her apparently, and also noticed she now has ruffled shoulders on her shirt just like she did as a toddler!
ACR was very, very, very bad.... since Hannah and uncle Oliver are not actually related by the game's measure (he's her aunt's partner but they're not married) once she aged up to adult it decided they have THREE BOLTS and I just barely caught them in time before they hopped into bed together, very Targaryen of them x_x Thank goodness for the friend zone feature.

It's time for Simon to retire and enjoy his golden years! He's sold the gallery and gotten a good chunk of change for it.
Miles decided to take the air with his breakfast today.
Inside Chowder was also very interested in breakfast.
Time for treats!
With that extra money in the family funds, it's time for Hannah to embark on her own business venture!
She heads over to her new lot, which happens to be right next to the old gallery.
After a little construction, Brightmaple's newest store is ready for its grand opening - Nooboo's Treasures! It's a baby goods store! Felt perfect for a family Sim.
Had a lot of fun setting this up.

Back at the house, Alyssa still hard at work on the project car!
Simon hadn't seen Gabriel in a while, so he invited him over.
Dirty jokes were immediately shared.
Remembered to roll Hannah's secondary aspiration - her primary is Family A (strict parent) and her secondary is popularity A (friend of the world)!
Chandler invited over Anya who he is sort of dating, they're kind of cute together too! I don't know if I can envision them together for the long term but I guess we will find out!
Unfortunately she had an encounter with the stinky skunk on her way home! :( Poor Anya!
That's it for their round! Excited for what's next for this household. Jamie is due to age up right at the beginning of the next round, and I definitely want him and Hannah to stay together (and both being family Sims with three bolt chemistry, I have a feeling their wants will cooperate with me).
I'm quite eager to progress that, and I want them to stay in Hannah's family home and eventually take it over, living multi-generationally for a while with her parents, brother and perhaps any kids they start to have! I think I'm going to play it in a way I rarely do, which is move Jamie out as soon as he ages up on the first day of his round, and then move him in at the same time on Hannah's next turn (so the last 4 days of his round 16 gameplay are done with her household instead of the Perry household). This way I don't have to wait all the way til round 17 to actually have them living together and starting their adult lives together. Family Sims don't waste time!
