Round Fifteen - Crosby II

Last Round - Paolo got glasses thanks to ROS! Their entire house was rebuilt, but on the same lot. Their second son Luca was born, and he became a toddler in the same round. Ariella got a whole new look. The burglar showed up, and somehow their alarm failed and their TV was stolen! They didn't have enough money to replace it, so Ariella wrote a restaurant guide to help fund replacing it.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

A big old family tree this time as we have fully third generation Sims in this family! Connor Crosby is the second son of founder Drew Crosby and his first wife Jane. He has two siblings and one half sibling. He married Ariella (Rossi) who was the younger child of founder Mateo Rossi and his wife Judy; she has one older brother. Together Connor and Ariella have two sons, Paolo and Luca! They've got two cousins by their aunt Melena (Sloane and Felix) and one by their uncle Marco (Veronica).






Up early in the morning and keeping Luca entertained!





Someone else is not up early. 



And as for Ariella.... surprise!

The ROS for their round was for someone to come down with an acute case of vampirism!

I do have a mod that allows vampires to be up in the daytime as long as they're indoors, so I can hopefully worry about her just slightly less.



She seems totally fine with indoor pursuits anyways.



Time to take a shortcut on wing!



Connor stays home today and works on baking some things to put in the display case at the cafe.



Popcorn thinks the food smells good!



Undead or no, Ariella loves her boys!





Connor goes out to pick up some groceries since they were running low, and he chooses his sister Melena's market of course! (although his sister in law and brother also own the other grocery store in town so I guess he could have gone with either!)



Marie was running things that day so he said hello to her.



Paolo had just sat down to play some games and of course...



:( :(



They still don't have a TV either since they got burglarized last round, still trying to save up. So books it is!



Tickle monster!





Ariella tries to fix the computer... I don't know if being a vampire makes this safer or more dangerous, or no effect? We'll hope for the best anyways..



Hooray!





Before I even realized what was happening, Ariella snuck outside in broad daylight to squash some roaches and started burning like toast. Get back inside!



Connor went out to run the cafe for a while today.



Sister Louise was there!



And brother Oliver! I love when family members patronise each others businesses.





Connor needed some more help around the cafe, so he hired Marceline on the spot!







Neither of them are particularly speedy on the cash register unfortunately.





Back home, Ariella was repeatedly going outside for the roaches! There was no one else home who could go and take care of them for her (and I didn't even think of the exterminator honestly)





Her needs were looking atrocious!



Time for Luca and mommy to both have their naps.







Paolo gets home and is also very unhappy about the roaches!

Stinky and starving!



Then go eaaat!



Things were just a little too chaotic to give Luca a proper birthday this time, so he got to just age up raw in the dining room!



Here he is as a cute kiddo!



Uncle Marco stopped by for a visit, probably sensing what a rough time his sister was having as she navigates the perils of being undead.





He helped cheer her up with some red hands!



She also finally got those damned roaches :) 



Paolo chatted with his uncle for a while.





And since Ariella wasn't feeling her best he even made dinner for them!





They finally afforded a new TV!



Luca must not be a morning Sim, judging from the way he dragged himself down the stairs this morning.



I was trying to find his hobby - apparently not nature lol.



It's another fitness enthusiast in town!



His room got a bit of a makeover too!



Including some fitness type elements.



Popcorn thinks, "Hmm.. nice fangs you have there."





Max Ballard came over after school with the boys. He lives with their aunties Melena and Marie, and cousins Sloane and Felix. (he's a "distant relation" of Marie if you forgot!)





Tonight we actually do have the bandwidth for a birthday cake, it's time for Paolo to age up!



He is a Family A aspiration (strict parent) and he likes girls who wear makeup, are good at cleaning and don't have bad reputations. Actually all sounds very traditional for a family Sim, so that jives!

Ariella heads out to creep around the local cemetery, it felt appropriate for a vampire!



She paid her respects at her parents graves first of all.



Lots of ghosts out and about tonight.

And ghostly Daniel Ainsworth! I've noticed he seems to be a fairly active spirit around here.



Ariella tries to look intimidating and scary.



But it does not seem to scare away the Charlatan...



The sheer nerve to pickpocket a vampire in a dark cemetery at night!



Ariella tests out the trampoline in Luca's room for him.



Connor works another day in the cafe solo, since it wouldn't be safe for Ariella to join him for now.



Lots of patrons enjoying their time here today!





Ariella spends most of her day just doing this!



Paolo's room got a new look too.







I should think she'd get fit after all that jumping! If only it took only a few hours in real life...



One of my recent teen townie additions got off the bus with Paolo. I want to say his name is James but I am not certain!





Don't worry Luca, it's just your first day!



Snoopy hasn't really managed to make it into any pictures this round with so much going on, but he is still here being a good boy! 



After school PB & J sandwich time!



It's nice for them to have the TV back for gaming, Ariella's favourite!



He really didn't like whatever joke he was telling, it must have been in poor taste!

Ariella works on another restaurant guide to bring in some extra money since the cash flow has been more like a trickle lately.

Paolo is home from school and desperately bored!



Luca is very proud to show off his improving grades!



Paolo was dying for some fun and wanted to ask someone on a date, so I took a look at his relationship panel and saw exactly who he should call up.





He met up with Marceline downtown at the theatre! They had two bolts I believe, and they're both family Sims so it could be a cute pairing maybe!





They caught some of a movie while there.



However it seems Marceline is not one for moving fast on the first date - Paolo tried a flirt and she was not into it! They were getting along great otherwise so I think it was just too soon for her.



Unfortunately because that lost them some points, the date ended early. But I think I'll try to set them up again soon, they make a cute couple!



Ariella is ready to join the world of the living and feel the sun on her skin again (without burning to a crisp) so she makes a call to a lady with some potions...







Back to normal!

Oh yeah, vampires somehow always want to go outside to burn 🙄 Sims logic.
Luca is so cute! And Paolo too. I hope he'll get another chance with Marceline, they'd make a cute couple!

I really thought she was gonna die a few times lol! I am definitely going to push Paolo and Marceline in that direction, I say it's fate!
