Round Sixteen - Perry

Here we are at the start of round sixteen, summertime in Brightmaple! I've got a shiny new font going forward for the round title cards. I decided I wanted to change it up a while ago during round fifteen, but I didn't want to change it mid-round. It was time for a change though I felt!

Last Round - Jamie asked Hannah Park to go steady. Sabrina had her birthday and became an adult! Then Dave also had his birthday and became an elder. They combined his birthday party at home with a little family reunion thanks to ROS. Sabrina moved out and moved in with her best friend Adela Blondeau-Dias so they can take downtown by storm.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

Whitney is the eldest child of founders Roxanne and Joshua Lewis, and has two siblings, Xander and Emilia. She married Dave Perry and they had three kids of their own - Sabrina, Jamie and Cameron. They have several cousins - Jasmine Dionne by Xander, and Zachary and Nora Lewis by Emilia.








So at the very start of this round, I made a decision to be the hand of God and change up the timeline a little bit. Jamie wasn't supposed to age up for two days, but I really wanted to get things started for him and Hannah, his teenage love who has already aged up to adult last round. They're both Family Sims and crazy cute together, so I just knew I would be continuing their relationship into adulthood.

I wanted him to move in with her and live as one big sort of household with her family, multi-generational and eventually them inheriting the house. But I didn't want to wait a whole 'nother rotation... so I aged him up a little early instead, and moved him out first thing to join their household. So we will see more of Jamie later in the round, in his new place in the rotation!






Here he is now though, and all his life stages so far! He already had the Family A (strict parent) aspiration, now his secondary is Popularity A (friend of the world).



I got this pop up when I first loaded in the lot, but unfortunately it was causing my game to absolutely spiral. Every time I would click yes, it would crash. I gave up after about 3-4 tries (their lot it more prone to crashing and flashing than most as it is). One of the times I was able to see the icon for the pet just before it crashed though, so I could tell what the game was trying to give them.



So I sent Whitney out to the pet store to just buy it herself!



Jamie was also there, she didn't have to miss him for very long!



Fred came along for the trip to welcome the new family member!



This is Teddy! He was a breed I created, based a fair bit on my mom's dog, although based on his puppy self so he looks somewhat different now, plus the usual real life to TS2 approximations.



Fred might be an elder now, but he still plays like a puppy!





Cameron's now the last kid still at home - it means Whitney can focus more intently on homework being done.



Decided to give her a more warm weather appropriate outfit for the season.







Homework done, back to gaming!





Dave takes out his aggression on the punching bag.



The ROS roll was to start a club, something I've been meaning to do and may even try and do outside of ROS rolls! Basically I wanted hobby clubs where Sims can get together and enjoy/talk about their shared hobby. I made a list of who has which hobby from adult up to keep track of who should be participants.

So Whitney was the first one to create a music & dance hobby club, and made a group so she can invite everyone for an event. The actual first meeting doesn't occur until later in their round though!



Cameron asked his mom for permission to go out with Sabine Blondeau.





And she said yes! No sneaking out in the dead of the night for him!

French toast for breakfast before Whitney heads off to The Plumb Boutique for the day.





Mia and Travis were both shoppers that day.







Her brother Xander was there too. I guess she was telling him about the new hobby club she's forming, he seems excited! It's his hobby too, so he'll be participating.







Sabine and Cameron were continuing their little romance. It seems he's finally having a little bit of success in the romance arena, a little late for someone supposed to have the serial romancer aspiration but hey, better late than never!







Dave decided to drop in and start chaperoning the date!



On to the next though, apparently!



Dave's old friend and their former neighbour Alice Park called to say hello.



Height mod glitch of the day when Sabrina was invited over! Dave doesn't remember their daughter being quite so tall.



Also noticed he had this memory from his flirtation with Lucia in the park! I don't think they even kissed or anything, it seems weird that just flirts trigger an affair memory tbh. 







Sabrina was invited over so that Whitney could finally retire, by passing on her business to Sabrina! She now lives with her best friend Adela Blondeau-Dias, and I had originally intended for Adela to open another clothing store downtown. But since she had her daughter Mickey unexpectedly, some plans changed!

I think this is actually a great solution for which business will belong to that household, and keeps Adela more free to be a mom at the same time. When Mickey is older maybe Adela can help Sabrina at the boutique and they'll have a sort of Romy and Michele thing XD (one of my favourite movies!)



Cameron gets a call from Sabine's cousin Clementine Brand, so he decides to go hang out downtown!







When they arrive, it was a lot of extended Blondeau/Brand family members, including Sabine herself!



Clementine's parents Jarvis and Estelle were also there, but I sent them home since I felt like this should be more of a teen hangout.



He introduced himself to Clem, and they had some chemistry as well... guess his type is this family!





The kids hung around on the playground mostly.



I heard the sound of a crush forming off in the distance, so I went to see who it was...

Blondeaus gone wild around here.





Back home Sabrina was still visiting, catching up with Fred and her parents!



He was peeing on Cameron's floor and rolling in it too :| Charming.



Home late and straight to bed!

They also got into a bit of a tiff out of nowhere! But still have a good relationship overall?



I decided to move them into a slightly downsized new lot, also in an effort to see if changing things up would solve some of the glitchy problems their lot had.











Ran out of decorating steam and didn't even attempt to put anything on that shelf in the corner lol.

Everybody was getting settled in at the new place!










Reviewing Cameron's kissing history, since he has that make out with 3 Sims want. So far it's actually only been Sabine, he kissed Adela when they were teens but no makeout.



He's aging up fairly soon so I don't think getting to three before he's an adult will happen, but we can try and get him closer! He invited Clementine over to the house.

Dave kept wanting to go fishing, so him and Whitney went to the local pond!



Jamie was there again too!







Whitney had better luck than Dave even though he was the one who wanted to go!



Back at home while everyone was out of the house, Grim came for poor Fred!







Cameron got home first and learned what happened. :( RIP Fred!



However, Clementine was able to come over to uh, comfort him! And he got one more makeout tally!



I realized I'd messed up and let Whitney and Dave stay out at the fishing pond too late, because tonight was Cameron's birthday and they wouldn't make it home in time! So he invited his siblings over to help him celebrate.



Teddy meanwhile was asleep under a tree in the corner of the lot. Maybe his encounter with Grim spooked him!





Cake time!



Here's our Cameron as an adult! His primary aspiration is Romance A (serial romancer) and his secondary is now Pleasure A (modest enjoyer).





Now he'll have to scope out his options for adult Sims to continue this quest!





Whitney and Dave got home and went right for bed..



Ghost Fred!



Cameron went to the brewery downtown to see if he could meet some potential candidates for that third makeout.

He autonomously tried to flirt with Starla Harrison, and she totally rejected him.



Her husband just watched and probably thought it was funny.



Embarrassing! Another flop for our least capable romance Sim.

I actually checked on my aspiration calculator, because I couldn't remember if his primary aspiration was already assigned when I switched from the zodiac method, in which case I wouldn't have bothered to change it. He's an Aries so I suspected that's why I had him as a romance Sim.

And it looks like in my new method, he would be Pleasure A primary and Knowledge B (evil scientist) secondary. I find that combo kind of intriguing because science is his main hobby as well. So I'm possibly going to switch him next round, because I don't know if I feel like romance suits him!



Teddy is still doing his sleeping outdoors thing!



Getting a lot of use out of this thing!



It was time for that inaugural music and dance hobby club meeting!



Everyone did a little dancing in the living room, of course! Darius was there, and Hollie also. 



And Xander of course!



Marie was the first to find Whitney's drums in the garage!



Cameron and Dave don't share the hobby, but they popped in to say hello.



Teddy finally found his bed!



Whitney served some desserts for everyone, outside on the patio. Guess it was a nice night!



Whitney chatted with Finn about their shared hobby, and the club meeting overall was a big hit!

I think it makes total sense he really "shouldn't" be one because he's so bad at it XD he might have a quarter life crisis next round and change direction...
