Round Seventeen - L. Crosby

Last Round - Louise went on a date with Ewan Menzies and unexpectedly got pregnant from risky woohoo! Her son Ronin was born later in the round. She did a little work at Hoop World while she could but it isn't doing great financially! Theo kept trying to intimidate Ewan with his dancing skills, but him and Louise still show no signs of wanting to be serious.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

Louise is the youngest child of founder Drew Crosby with his second wife Tessa. She has three older half siblings (Oliver, Connor and Melena) one first cousin - Hollie Webb-Ainsworth (her mom was Geneva, Drew's sister), and four nieces and nephews. She had a risky woohoo baby fathered by Ewan Menzies last round, Ronin Crosby. Since Louise is technically the youngest gen 2 Sim (growing up alongside gen 3's) Ronin should be technically the youngest gen 3, growing up alongside gen 4!

I have been reading back over some of my old posts and laughing at how bad I can be in retrospect at predicting which parent a Sim will look like when they're young.

But it occurred to me that it would be best to compare toddlers to toddlers because their looks change a lot through to adulthood. So if we compare mom Louise and dad Ewan, what do you think? I think he definitely has Louise's eyes, that's for sure. Maybe Ewan's nose, their mouths look very similar? Face shape more like Ewan's?



Ronin's extreme little personality. He has the same winning charm as his parents of course, one whole nice point, just like both of them. Also inherited that Menzies brand of sloppiness! The laziness is interesting since both parents are a 9 on that scale. Ronin will be a Pleasure B (Hedonist) aspiration when he's older which is fun!



I guess seeing Ronin looking so grown up reminds Louise of his dad, and she's feeling favourably towards him.



Louise invited over her mom Tessa and her oldest brother Oliver to visit.







Ronin's got lots of fun toys to keep him busy in his room!

Now she's also wanting to have Ewan over, and perhaps it is time he finally, you know... meets his kid!

Louise and Ewan also have some romance in the kitchen.



Toby is calling again...



Louise called her mom in for babysitting so she could go to her business Hoop World. It's reeeally hard making a lot like this profitable, I'll tell ya. For now she has added a foosball table to try and attract customers!



Sally Woods came and actually played basketball with Louise so that was nice!





At home, granny says it's bathtime!



Theo stopped in while Louise was out, and it doesn't seem like Tessa approves of him.



The landlady also helped herself to the computer...





She doesn't seem like the most maternal type but she's so cute with him!

Louise and Theo's relationship has been interesting to watch - almost like it's settled into this really close friendship now more than anything. He's always popping over and hanging out, but they don't get romantic all that often anymore. I kind of hold a hope they're going to be end-game though? They feel like that couple who was crazy about each other but broke up or could never fully commit, but stayed so close and so much a part of each other's lives that they inevitably find their way back to a romantic relationship one day.

But we'll have to see if that's what they want - it's what I want! LOL



This kid always needs a bath - must be the sloppiness. He's like Pig-Pen!





Getting their sports hobby enthusiasm gains!







Blocks were not enough, he had to find something even more fun to play with!

Aw, Louise is doing pretty well as a single mom!
I'm kinda wary of Ewan since the cult thing, so I guess I'm also rooting for Theo after all 😅

Hahah neither has made himself a great option but to be fair Louise isn't the nicest person herself either. We'll see how she ends up!
I do think of her and Ewan's relationship as only physical - they were each others first kiss as teenagers, with no relationship before. Ronin's conception also had nothing leading up to it!
