Round Seventeen - Blondeau II

Last Round - Isaac and Dev both became elders! Chandler had his first kiss, and then him and Anya both became adults. Their cat Pixel died :( Anya also became a good witch this round, and she moved out at the end of the round.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

Anya is the daughter of Dev and Isaac, who was the youngest child of founder Ines Blondeau and her husband Noah. Anya is a twin of her brother Chandler, and they have a younger sister Sabine. These three have a couple aunts (Paloma and Estelle) and several cousins (Adela, Marceline and Clementine).





Anya is off on her own in the big world and moved in to this lovely little cottage on the edge of town, where she can pursue her witchy endeavours.

A little art corner for her painting hobby, which for now is going to be how she makes money.

I am pretty certain I've never used this Maxis bed before, but it fit so perfectly with the style of her house so I was excited to use that!



First order of business is to get to "work" a little bit. Her creativity level still needs to be worked on more, so her paintings aren't selling for that much yet. She needs to work on that!





Taking a break for lunch.



Tall!Darius is at the door to welcome her to her new home!



Simone with her frazzled hair is also part of that welcome wagon. She extends her lunch break a bit longer to welcome in her neighbours for a bit of a visit.





But then it's back to it!



Tea break!



That evening her aunt Estelle calls and invites her out downtown, so she accepts.



They went to the cineplex - sushi dinner first.



The theatre was very crowded! When I built this lot I honestly never expected the Sims to actually watch the screens, so it delights me every time when they do. There are 3 or 4 screens and they all tend to congregate mostly in the same theatre room, but I actually prefer that since it makes it look very full and well used like this.

Fittingly, the movie that was playing seemed to be about witches!



Whatever movie this was, it sure looked popular with the ladies!



Fellow witch Alice Park was also watching this movie!



She also said hello to her aunt Paloma who was at the theatre too.



The next day, Anya sets aside some time for witch studies too. Her primary aspiration is Knowledge A (good scientist) so I think a life of quiet study and painting for a living really suits her quite well. She is also a hopeless romantic, so hopefully she can get out enough to perhaps meet her one true love someday.







This puddle appeared out of nowhere in her witch room, don't know what it could even be from.



Time to test out a spell to get rid of it! (it did not work - I think that puddle was a glitch, maybe it ported over from the bathroom next door or something?)



Despite enjoying her solitude, the house was getting a little lonely, so Anya went out to the pet store her brother Chandler now owns and got herself a cat! Meet Merlin. I'm loving the new cat whiskers fur accessory!





At home, Merlin likes to gaze lovingly at Anya while she watches TV.





Back to "work"!



Merlin likes to sleep on the bed too.





Anya needed to get out of the house for a bit, so she flew over to the Cyber Cafe.





Saying hello to the proprietor, Nora Lewis!





Hannah Park also was there and they chatted. Her maternity outfit only displays right maybe half the time.





Looks like she likes Hannah and wants to know her better!



Travis is up to no good as usual.







Now she's maxed out her skill! So she will be able to bring in a lot more money with her paintings.

Anya went to the Good Egg Diner and called Hannah to meet her for brunch.



Her maternity clothes worked today!







They chatted about Hannah's coming baby.

As a nice parting gift at the end of their outing, Anya casts a mood boosting spell on Hannah.

At home Merlin is hunting!



Anya gets a call from a cute guy she has chemistry with!





Anya's got the hydrophobic trait, so she was quite happy to learn a new spell that lets her boost her hygiene with a wave of her wand. She'll be using that one frequently I'm sure!

That's gonna be it for Anya this round! She's quite shy (3 points) so being a bit of a homebody suits her, but hopefully she'll get out a little more next time and maybe meet someone!

That's pretty clever that she can use a spell to raise her hygiene as a hydrophobic!

I was so excited when I realised it! I've always just kind of dipped my toe in the witchy stuff, it's a lot of work to make all the reagents even with mods to make it faster, and it's hard to remember what the spells do sometimes! I downloaded a mod to give them simple English names but it caused a ton of glitches in my game (conflicted with something more essential) so I had to delete it. But I'm determined to integrate it more into my gameplay!
