Round Seventeen- Park-Perry

Last Round - Jamie Perry has moved in to start his life with Hannah - they quickly get engaged, and have a big backyard wedding. They had some trouble getting pregnant for the first time but the Watcher intervened a little and a nooboo is on the way.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Simon is the oldest son of founders Kira and Ryan Park. He has two younger sisters, Winnie and Alice. Simon married Alyssa (a surprise after his wild romance Sim youth) and they had two kids, Hannah and Miles. Hannah's husband Jamie is a member of the Lewis clan, and they're expecting their first child.
Hannah is cooking up some food this morning, she's eating for two!
Simon got glasses thanks to the ROS, and he looks very distinguished.
Family meal photos never get old for me.
Chowder is also participating in family breakfast!
Saying good morning to the nooboo in Hannah's belly!
Jamie is as always the perfect son in law - he insists everyone else go relax while he clears up after breakfast.
So they do just that!

Simon is enjoying his treadmill while he can - this room is going to have to be converted to a nursery for the baby pretty soon!
A chat on the phone with his best friend Gabriel.

Miles gets his homework done after some insistence from his mom.
Jamie is awaked in the middle of the night by the ringing phone thanks to his light sleeper trait, and it's a prank caller too! Guess it's practice for the midnight feedings that are coming.
I realised then that Simon, who I thought I'd sent to bed, was still up playing the computer at 2:30 in the morning! He's become a little obsessed with it this round all of a sudden.
Off to bed with you!

Grannie Alyssa is the first one to get puked on!
Gabriel came by to visit and meet the new kiddo too.
That upstairs workout room did get converted to a nursery for Nathan, here it is!
They got to trying again very fast, but no chimes this time.
Grandpa looks after the diaper change this time.
Another milestone is here - Miles' birthday!
Here he is, so handsome! His primary aspiration is Family A (strict parent) and now his secondary is Popularity A (friend of the world). Those are the same as his sister Hannah and brother in law Jamie, so birds of a feather I guess!
His traits are light sleeper, disciplined, friendly, charismatic and dog person.
They spent the evening socialising and hanging out with baby boy.

Off to bed for everyone.
In the morning dad takes care of a diaper change before it's off to work - luckily for them, the grandparents can handle the childcare! Doing the multigenerational household was definitely a good idea, and so much fun!
They go to work with a renewed sense of confidence in selling baby goods, now being very familiar with how they work.
The ranking was a bit of a rollercoaster though!
Family Sim Marceline and her future father in law Connor were both present in the store, hmmm I guess they both have some ideas about what might be coming down the pipe in their lives!

Simon is still addicted to this computer!
Their only workout equipment now is outside, so Simon and Miles get their workouts in the chill fall air (they both have fitness hobby).
Jamie's cousin Zachary drops in to say hello, and he has good timing...
It's Nathan's birthday!
Here he is! He's truly Hannah's twin I think! I'm sure as he gets older more of Jamie's features will be apparent, but the lips and nose look like Hannah to me. Jamie as a toddler for reference.
His personality - very neat, outgoing and nice! His traits so far are neurotic and social butterfly. He will be popularity A when he is older, same as his parents secondary aspirations.
Zachary's mom Emily was there too - guess they had a sixth sense there would be cake!
Another attempt at baby making...
Grandpa is the one to tuck little Nathan in to his crib tonight.
The time has finally come for Miles to inherit Park's Market - aunt Winnie wants to retire so her and Oliver can devote all their time to the cats!
Miles thinks as a business owner, it's about time he had a cell phone.
Next stop is the gym, both to get a good workout in and also perhaps to see if there are any eligible ladies about... this romance Sim is on the hunt for a wife!
He met several women here, Alexis here seemed the most promising but they didn't get to interact for a super long time!
There was also chemistry with Nichole and Agnes - although I think Agnes is a romance Sim if I'm not mistaken, so probably not a good match there.
Simon and Alyssa are having some time to themselves...
Hannah is trying to get Nathan to learn some new words!
It's frustrating for him!
Lots of work for Nathan today!
Uncle Miles is getting to know his nephew as well as he can, he won't be around the house forever now that he's an adult!

Simon and Ryan went out for a swim since it's such a good workout, and Oliver and Ronald were there getting into shoving and poking matches after I accidentally made Oliver harass him in his last round.
10/10 on that dive!
Miles takes a less graceful route into the water.
I also realised just then that he was wearing the same swim shorts as his dad - guess Alyssa bought those on BOGO. Time to switch those out!
Simon wanted some pictures with Miles :)
This time Jamie takes a crack at helping him learn his words.

That's the trick son, if you ever do anything wrong, or you just want to get on her good side, you buy her jewelry! Women love jewelry!

Tickle monster!
They tried for baby again, third time this round and still, no chimes! I keep checking their ACR settings but I can't find any reason why they wouldn't be able to conceive. If I hadn't forced it with Nathan, they would still be childless.
But I promised I would let it unfold as it will after him, so that's what I'm going to do. Maybe Nathan will be an only child, or perhaps it will just take them a while and there will be a gap between kids. This was the last night of the round though, so no more chance of anything happening til next time.
He finally learned to talk! Grandpa Simon got him over the finish line!
Everybody jumps up to come say goodbye, because Miles has called a taxi to take him off to his new place - and that is gonna be it for this round!

I'm sure the next baby will come, they'll just have to keep trying 😉
