Last Round - A burglar broke in and Alice was powerless to use her magic against them. Hermes passed away, for good this time :( Remy the rat also did. Alice dated a townie named Elisabeth, and the antiques store got to rank 8.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Alice is the middle child of founders Kira and Ryan Park. Despite a few casual relationships and flirtations with male and female Sims around town (she is bi), Alice never met anyone she liked well enough to settle down with. She prefers to focus on her cats, her rat, her witchy studies and her many friendships (being a popularity Sim!). She also likes being the cool aunt to her brother Simon's kids Hannah and Miles.

Alice has been getting to know her neighbour Bailey while she's been "offscreen" it seems!
Grocery trip soon it seems!
But since she was hungry now, she decided to see if her nephew Miles wanted to meet up for brunch!
She also has a little extra fun money in her pocket, ROS netted her a little lottery win of $50,000!
They had a great little catch up!
After that she made a stop at the farmer's market to restock the fridge.
A little witchy work.
Test driving a new spell to make a meal later on that day when she's hungry again.
Look at all those burgers! That might come in handy for parties at some point!

Back at the homestead, there's a building gathering happening.
One of her best friends, Estelle, dropped by in the midst of the party and joined in on the fun.
Alice had a little fun with a chicken spell on unsuspecting Jace.
A quiet evening with the cats.
Back to work today! The antique shop is busy busy!

So... my game did something weird this round!
She had all those wants about her neighbour and lover Bailey, although the apartment he lived in was empty now. That has happened before so I didn't think much of it - often that townie just reappears as an apartment neighbour on another lot, or just becomes a general townie rather than apartment neightbour from what I can tell.
Alice was out working, and after I got back to the home lot, while I was waiting for her to come back after the community lot timer ran out, I got a pop up about Bailey dying off lot out of nowhere. I closed it without thinking to take the screenshot, but thought it was maybe just a glitch? But after she got home, she had wants to resurrect him! And her memories of him were still there, so it's not like the game nuked him and nerfed the character file, corruption style - he literally just died, "off screen". I confirmed in SimPE later his character file is still there and everything, he's just marked as deceased.
Never had that happen or even heard of it but uhhh yeah... I guess my game is truly determined to keep Alice single at all costs!
This lot has been in play almost since the inception of the hood, and has had so many households go through it, so it's probably even more bugged than your average apartment lot. There's some tweaks I need to make in common areas anyways, so I'm planning to not move any other playables in until Alice has passed on, then rebuild the lot anyways - it's a very simple one so shouldn't take long at all to do. Maybe it will prevent future ultra-weirdness like that.
That night, Alice decided to throw a party of her own. At first all her guests gathered in the outdoor common area, but she eventually corralled them all into her apartment.
Gabriel was pranking Paloma in the hallway.
(The red windows are one of the things I need to fix when I rebuild the lot - they're supposed to be black, but one day they randomly changed to red. I can change the ones inside a playable unit, but not the other units or common area ones.... annoying!)
Alice made a fancy little dish for the party.
The cats are always very popular at the parties, as they should be!
As always seems to happen at these parties, Paloma and Simon got a bit flirtatious.
But then out of nowhere, he got flirty with Estelle too?? And she was into it! He really has a thing for Blondeau women.
Alice's sister Winnie isn't much of a party person, she's fairly shy. But the next day they had some one on one time playing video games!
The competitive sibling attitude comes out!
Alice casts a friendly little spell on her though, no hard feelings after the games!
Circe and Hecate are enjoying the views from the counter today!
Alice ends off her last night with some more spellwork and study - that's it for her round now!
