Round Seventeen - Noble

Last Round - Adela's baby daddy became a playable! He moved into an apartment downtown, and opened a quick service restaurant called Noble Izakaya. He also adopted a cat named Cinnamon. His custody arrangement with Adela saw Mickey being with him for a couple of days during his round too!

Ronald fathered a daughter with Adela Blondeau-Dias, who was named Mickey. She comes from a long line of
Starting off this round with the ROS roll, which is a fun one - holding a torch! The Sim is supposed to try to re-ignite the romance with their first love. Looking back in Ronald's memories, I was surprised to see the only Sim he'd ever been involved with besides Adela was townie Hiroko.
I also found it funny that they woohooed (publicly) before they even kissed each other. The prior kiss in his memories was the Mystery Sim.
Ronald is into music & dance, and I thought violin seemed about his speed. I see Ronald as someone who fancies himself a little cultured. I gave him the virtuoso trait, although he also has the minimalist and can't stand art traits - visual clutter and embellishment is not his thing, only auditory.
Cinnamon is an attentive audience!
Time for some work at the Noble Izakaya!
The skies soon opened up however, and started pelting down hail.

However Ronald finally had to call it an early day. The hail just wouldn't let up and it was driving the customers away.
The landlady came to fix the broken dishwasher. Definitely the best thing about the apartment lots - never having to fix anything.
More practice on the violin!
He also had other people's hobbies in mind - since his daughter Mickey discovered her love of gaming, he bought a console for her to play when she comes over.
He gives her a call that night to check in and tell her about it.
What do you mean your mother let you put on her makeup? You're too young for that!
Well.... if it's only at home, for playing.... I guess it's alright. I still don't know if I like it though...
Ronald has the "Strict Parent" Family secondary aspiration... in case it wasn't obvious!
The next day I was about to send Ronald off somewhere, maybe work, but then he autonomously went up to the roof instead and hopped into the hot tub with his neighbour Alma instead! They got very cuddly, but something interrupted them before it got any further than cuddles.
They do seem to have some excellent chemistry though! And have obviously been getting to know each other "off-screen".
Another day at the office - still kind of rainy but at least no more hail!
Ronald tries out the ventrilo-fart with Brett, who does not appreciate the joke, having no sense of humour himself.
I got a little sidetracked and excited seeing Chandler finally meeting another gay guy in the hood! I resisted making him selectable to peek at whether they had any chemistry, but I sure hope they do - I'll be checking that next time I play him for sure.
That night, Ronald went out to a restaurant and called up Hiroko to ask her to meet him on a date, to fulfill the ROS. I was really surprised though when she said no? They have good chemistry and high relationship score - usually that's always been enough for a Sim to say yes to a date invite, even if there is no crush or anything yet?
So he invited her just to come there, and tried again to ask her out in person, twice more, and she kept saying no!
Finally I just said screw it, he's already here and he's gotta eat, so he asked her on an outing instead so they could at least grab a bite together.
After this, she was a little more receptive to romance, and things got a little more on track.
But, I'm definitely keeping the hot and cold and hesitancy in mind here.
Today, it's a dad and daughter day with Mickey! He takes her out to the newest fast food restaurant in town, McLlama's!
Starla was hovering and plotting nefarious deeds in the background.
I assume the choice of box vs. plate is either random or just an inconsistency in however these self serve CC burgers were made? I like the idea of Ronald eating a burger with a fork though, conceptually.
Back at home, Mickey and Ronald take that new console out for a spin!
She's got the trash talking down already.
Cinnamon was a bit standoff-ish when Mickey tried to hug her!
A little cat teaser should strengthen the relationship!
Seems Cinnamon like strangers more though? The paper boy got some quality snuggles!
Another dad and daughter day for these two! Today it's off to Larry F. Llama's Fun Palace.
Ronald wanted to get photos together, which turned out totally adorable.
Mickey struggled up to the lane with her ball.
Not quite a success...
Poor thing took it a little hard...
Steep learning curve I guess...
Ronald managed a lot better!
Poor Sally was getting accosted by the Unsavoury Charlatan!
Mickey was starting to get really frustrated with bowling, so Ronald decided to call it a day!
Back to work now, got to make that money.
And boy, did he!

Ronald (and the Watcher) forgot to clean the litter box, so Cinnamon peed on the floor... whoops!
Wildlife in the city!
Ronald has been getting a near constant want to visit his neighbour Alma, who he was canoodling with in the hot tub the other day.
She was home, and they got to chatting, and some rock paper scissors too.
A little friendly backrubbing between neighbours :)
The chemistry is still excellent, and there's some obvious mutual attraction too. Interesting.... I will also note after the hot and cold not-a-date he had with Hiroko, his first flame, he's not rolled one single want about her since, not even platonic ones. He spent most of the day at Alma's empty apartment, and all four of his want slots all day were just wanting to talk to her, joke with her, play with her, etc etc.
Ronald finally went back to his apartment for a while, and practiced the violin.
Later that evening he went back down to Alma's, and asked her out on a date - she was very receptive to the idea!
They both rolled some pretty serious wants right off the bat!
He took her out to Nigiri House, and love blossomed before they even got seated.
More serious wants! Things are coming together so quickly for them.
They both got the salmon :)

Back home, Cinnamon is up on the roof pretending she's in a superhero movie or something.
Downstairs, Alma is moving up one floor - and into Ronald's apartment! After a very unexpected whirlwind romance, these two will be starting their lives together properly next time, as this is the end of his round!
Alma got a big makeover in honour of becoming playable, so let's meet her.

Alma shares Ronald's love of music, and I see her being a great complement to his personality - I think they're both a little conservative or traditional in some ways - hence the climate denier trait oop! XD I hadn't gotten to use it yet and I thought it would be kind of funny - I already love her but maybe she's a little problematic just like Ronald can be in his own way? His is mostly via a grouchy streak though. Alma was created by LesyaSun!
