Round Seventeen - Silva

Last Round - Mia's primary aspiration changed to Family A (strict parent). Carla got pregnant and their second daughter Isobel was born. Savannah aged up to child, and got closer with her grandpa Michael. Isobel became a toddler by the end of the round.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

Mia and Carla are both born in game Sims who started dating as teens, and were also friends as children. Carla's parents are Zelda and Valerie Georgison who joined Brightmaple as new playables in round six. Carla has one younger sister, Simone. Mia's parents are Beatriz Silva who was an exchange student that joined Brightmaple in round one, and her husband Michael who was originally a townie. Mia and Carla got married and they have two daughters, Savannah and Isobel.

This genie lamp has been kicking around for a while - time for a wish!

Savannah's birthday is here too! Not many pictures as my game became very unstable around here, lots of crashing and flashing. I think that sadly this lot is buggy beyond repair :( I don't have a clean copy so I'm not sure what to do about it.... but Sav turned out so cute! I changed her hair but the game generated this outfit and I think it's great!

Her aspiration is romance B (hopeless romantic) and she is straight. I also think I see a little more Carla in her now that she's older, despite seeing more of Mia in her before. Seems like both girls are shaping up to be interesting blends of their moms!



Now it's Isobel and Mickey who are the right age to play together!



Just apartment neighbour things.... hey Sabrina!



Savannah suddenly realizing she has less to relate to Mickey about since she became a teen an hour ago.





Another sack of money almost squashes Mia in the bathroom.



And then right on cue...



The bugger got the TV too!



Luckily they were caught though!



Mia nervously cleans the dog bed while she thinks about whether the city is still a safe place to raise their daughters....

Which, spoiler, it is not! I decided this was a nice in game storyline to follow for why they will be moving out of this apartment and into somewhere less buggy. I'll probably have to relocate Adela, Sabrina and Mickey as well next round since they live on the same lot. But next time we will definitely see these four in a new home! All that money from the genie will be a big help!

Oh no, the bugginess of apartments is what always stops me from using them! What a shame that they will have to move out of their apartment; it’s so nice! I loved watching the speed build of it too, but I’m sure their new place will be just as lovely.

I play with apartments pretty regularly and I really think it's such a crapshoot! I've only ever had two households in this lot including them and it's already bad, but I've got other apartments I've had in my game for years with many different households moving through it, and no real issues! So for me it's worth the "risk" and in future I'm going to be better about at least saving a clean template so I can start them fresh if I need to! I might still look into whether lot cleaning methods will work on a lot like this so I can reuse it possibly!
