Round Eight - Crosby

Last Round - The family moved into a big new house for their growing brood after baby Melena was born. She became a toddler, and later Oliver became a teen! He joined Jane for a shift at the pet store. Then, when they were coming home - tragedy struck. Or rather, lightning did. Jane passed away unexpectedly due to a lightning strike on her front porch. :( This caused Drew to have a mental breakdown, and his sister Geneva and brother in law Daniel came over to help them out. Drew also gave me a scare by getting electrocuted trying to fix a TV, but he lived.

The Crosby round lifts off with Drew having some mixed feelings about having another baby. Cute little Melena must be giving him some aches! But for now he is a widower and has no one special in his life, so no prospects on that horizon.

Oliver spends some time preening in the mirror while Connor jumps on the bed.

It’s time for Connor’s birthday!

It was also Melena’s birthday on the same night! She ages up, and I finally have someone to put in this adorable outfit that the amazing deedee_sims made at my request!

Before her first day of school, Melena makes herself an unsatisfying looking muffin.

Drew now has the house to himself with all the kids in school - it would be lonely, but at least he has Beans around too!

Drew goes in for a day of work at the pet store. And while he’s there, some flirtation arises between him and one of his employees, Tessa! Hmmmm….



The good day gets rounded out by gaining another rank on the business!

Back at home, Drew refuels on caffeine to withstand a house full of teenagers playing video games!

Beans goes into Matrix mode!

Drew invites Tessa over to the house, and things progress rather quickly! Sims have NO time to waste!

Drew and Tessa went out for a date at Newt’s Hollow Pond for some fishing. His sister Geneva was there too, and she seems glad to see her brother so happy. :)

Drew knows he's ready to pop the question, and Tessa says yes!



Now that Drew has proposed to her, Tessa is the newest member of the playable Brightmaple world! Tessa was made by @yun-sims :)

Drew got a new look! A different haircut and some facial hair. I think it really suits him, even better than his old look!



Tessa is getting settled in and finds her passion for cooking.



Tessa keeps up her passion for cooking, while Beans supervises.

They did their best to add another baby to the family but it wasn’t happening this round. I would kind of like it to though since they are both red-heads (Drew formerly but still) and I’d love more of those genes in the neighbourhood gene pool!

Drew and Tessa are ready to get married! They have a small backyard wedding party with family.

They’ve tied the knot! Tessa is now officially Tessa Crosby, and stepmother to the Crosby kids!

Everybody enjoys cake on the porch before the party finally wraps up for the evening.

And that's it for this round for the Crosby family! Moving on as they can after the tragic loss of their mother Jane last round. :( Hopefully they will be a happy family again with their new stepmom!
