Round Nine - Lewis-Dionne

Last Round - (Xander lived at home last round and this is his first out on his own) Treble Town was doing great and got to rank 10. The lot also became glitchy though, and since it had maxed out anyways, they sold the business and will be opening a new one next round - fortune Sim Roxanne is ready for the next big thing! Roxanne became a witch due to ROS, which scared Joshua a lot. Xander became an adult and started seeing Emilia. Ziggy became an elder pup. Emilia moved in with Xander, and then they went to get their own place at the end of the round.



Time for the round of Xander and Emilia! They just moved in together and into this new house. Went with a navy and mustard colour theme here.



















The house includes a yard where there are some gardening plots! Neither of them has nature enthusiasm, it’s just how I built the lot they ended up buying, but they’ll take advantage of it nonetheless!



It’s time to give Emilia a proper introduction, now that she’s playable!

These two cuties get settled in to their new home!





I bought the stand up bass because Xander has the music hobby, but Emilia really enjoys playing around on it too.





Emilia gets to work planting some fall seedlings so they can hopefully have a bit of a harvest before it’s too cold.





Later on, she attempts to collect some fireflies (no luck though).





A little bit of canoodling.







The next morning Tessa Crosby was just hanging around on the doorstep, so Xander decided to go outside and say hello!



The stand up bass proves popular with guests too!







Tessa tried to make some tips (even though it was just Xander there, Emilia was working) and she was sadly disappointed.




Emilia got home from work and they enjoyed some dinner with Tessa.
I decided starting in this round (which is the beginning of year 3 in Brightmaple) to add a new aspect to Brightmaple’s play. No one works Maxis jobs, they only own businesses. But I like to keep it to one business per household. So, as long as someone in the household already owns a business, secondary members of the household will be allowed to have a “regular” job, except only as an employee of another business in Brightmaple! So technically, still no Maxis jobs.
So Emilia kept her existing job at the Rossi family’s cafe, The Plumbbean Coffee Co. And that of course means that Xander has opened a business, which we need to introduce!









Xander opened an electronics store in the business district of Brightmaple! This is Charged Electronics. The business was very popular right off the hop, I guess those Sims love their gadgets. Yay, rank one!









The first day was a little exhausting, but rewarding for Xander. Time to call it a night!





The TV broke on them, so Emilia pulled out the tool kit and got it working again so they could watch a movie. Bonus points for not getting electrocuted!





A mysterious visitor arrived and left something for the two of them!







Another neighbour was invited inside, this time Simon Park! He also went straight for the bass… and blended in with the curtains!



Emilia comes home from a long day at work and needs a soak in a bubble bath to unwind.



Afterwards her and Xander do even more unwinding… no chimes as of yet!





Then Xander raids the fridge in his undies, and Emilia plays the bass.









It’s a rainy morning as both of them head off to work - Emilia to her job at the Plumbbean Coffee Co and Xander to his store, Charged Electronics!







Xander’s sister Emily came to see his new store. He said hello to the little niece or nephew inside her belly!





More happy customers including Judy Rossi means another rank up for Charged Electronics!





Before he heads home for the day, Xander adds a little more inventory to the store.



Finishing off the round, Xander does some cleanup in the garden before Emilia gets home from work.





Also, I really wanted to have a light in the hood vent like… you know, most hood vents do. Hadn’t really thought of it before but it seemed practical! So I wedged a lamp hidden up inside there and I love the effect!
