Round Nine - Crosby

Last Round - After losing Jane last round, the family was getting used to life without her and Drew sort of wanted more kids but had no lady in his life. Connor became a teen, and Melena became a child! Some fliration begins at work with one of Drew's employees, Tessa. They quickly fell in love and became more serious, so Drew popped the question and they had a backyard wedding.







Morning at the Crosby house, Beans is doing the rounds to get some love and affection! She is a very social cat.







Melena keeps trying to make herself breakfast but it never turns out quite right, poor thing.







Tessa, waking up slowly. I feel that…





Beans continues to make her rounds and get her snuggles.









These two wandered off back to the bedroom, and this time… chimes! :D









Everyone has breakfast together, except for Beans because it’s bath time.





Drew and Melena dancing in the kitchen :) So cute!





Regardless of what they’re doing, the living room is definitely the place to gather in this house.


Bright and early, Oliver decides to use the mirror in Drew and Tessa’s room to check on his skin?



Later on, Connor brings home his girlfriend Ariella after school.





Drew brings Oliver to the pet store for a day of work, so he can really learn the ropes!



His sister Geneva stops in and says hello.





Oliver tries out his sales skills but at this point they seem to be lacking.



Tessa has her first pop!



Beans also has a different kind of pop, as she ages to elder! She looks about the same though.



Once again everybody gathers in the living room to hang out together.









Melena finds herself a hobby! But it’s one that really tuckers her out.







Connor tried making spaghetti for the family but it didn’t turn out so well. Needs more practice!







Tessa blows off some steam in the tub!









Some cats use the nighttime to sleep. Some use it to play with toys, or even hop up on furniture they aren’t allowed on when no one is around.
But not Beans.
Beans makes the rounds from bedroom to bedroom, all night, wishing for someone to wake up and pay attention to her!







After a night of pacing the bedrooms waiting for everyone to wake up, Beans persistence pays off with some much needed love and affection.





Kids are off to school, and Tessa has her second pop!



Her and Drew celebrate this, while Beans does her favourite thing - watching.







The boys brought someone home from school, but Oliver did what he does best and managed to start an argument with her!



Drew saw his niece Hollie walking by and decided to say hello and invite her in. :)







Tessa alerts everyone to the fact that it is nooboo time!



The stork makes a drop off, and we have a new baby sister in the family. Meet Louise Crosby! Red hair like mom and dad, and green eyes but not the same shade as dad - she has the same green eyes as her auntie Geneva, which is also the same colour green as her brother Oliver. Love seeing how these genetics play out. :)
Now it’s a full house with four kids!







Drew is the cutest family Sim and immediately rolls all wants to buy toys and things for little baby Louise!



Within just a few hours of Louise being born, Drew was making some mac n’ cheese for the family when an uninvited guest showed up. :( Such sad timing for this! And my first actual founder death in Brightmaple.









Drew’s first wife Jane (and the mother of the three oldest Crosby kids) died when Melena was a baby, and now Drew too. Leaving poor Tessa with a baby daughter and three stepkids!
At least Drew looks like he’s gonna have fun wherever he’s going!

Drew Crosby - Born Round 0 - Died Round 9
Drew Crosby’s grave is next to his first wife Jane. I’ll leave a spot on the other side of it where Tessa will one day rest. Bye to my first Brightmaple founder to pass away!






Besides Drew passing away on the day Louise was born, he also died at the moment that Melena was having her birthday! What a day!





Poor Melena rolled for the Popularity aspiration, but the whole thing was a bit overshadowed by her dad’s passing.



At least the family got some inheritances to ease their pain… Oliver gave the ownership of the pet store over to Tessa instead.







Luckily as a single mother she has three older stepkids who can help out with looking after the house, and their baby sister!
The family still have a lot of moments where they are upset about their loss though.





When Tessa sent Drew’s remains off to be interred at the cemetery, she missed her chance to see a ghost which was something she had rolled a want to do… oh well! We got to see Drew’s smiling face one more time!





Melena still had to get her new teenage look after all, the one she aged up into just wasn’t going to do it… so here she is along with her ACR stats! She really is so similar looking to her mom Jane (who was made by kahlenas !)







I swear they were really talking to each other! Not just sitting around making sulky teenager faces!







A really heated game of SSX 3 in this house!









At the end of the Crosby family’s very eventful round, Tessa tucks little Louise away in her crib for the night. We’ll see them again for the winter round where Louise will become a toddler!
