Round Nine - Blondeau-Dias

Last Round - Paloma has moved in with Gabriel after they hit it off at her birthday party. Gabriel got a glasses prescription. Gabriel was being a romance Sim and sneaky flirting and kissing townies when Paloma's back was turned. Poor Hank the bird had an untimely death. Paloma got pregnant, and dealt with heat stroke at the same time, poor thing.



Paloma and Gabriel’s round starts with Paloma feeling very pregnant.





I was fixing up Gabriel’s look after swapping my downloads folder, and was contemplating giving him this new hair… and then right after that I rolled their ROS for the round and it was…. “get a new hairstyle” so it was meant to be!







Gabriel is into nature and gardening, so Paloma spends some time outdoors with him trying out his hobby.





She even managed to actually catch some butterflies - which she did set free :)







Paloma invited her parents Ines and Noah over to visit, but Gabriel was still busy getting the last of the early autumn harvest from the garden.









Paloma took her turn to indulge her own hobby and had everyone sit down to watch the game. She also loves to persuade her mom to make her grilled cheese sandwiches whenever she visits - nobody makes them quite like mom.



Ines knows her way around the kitchen well because they live in Paloma’s childhood home, the first house Ines and family lived in before they outgrew it!





I guess it’s true what they say about woohoo bringing on labour…. Gabriel and Paloma snuck off and pretty soon after, it was nooboo time for her!





They welcomed little Adela Blondeau-Dias to Brightmaple! She has colouring just like her mama.

I am trying to get better about giving my Sims more appropriate hairstyles for different outfits, so Paloma got a long side braid for her pajama look.



Ahh to be a little pixel cat luxuriating on a little pixel pillow…





Poor Gabriel just wanted to enjoy a nice hike, commune with nature… it didn’t work out so well for him.

Paloma tries to share the gospel of grilled cheese, but Alice is NOT into it.





Tessa makes a random stop to read their newspaper on the porch. She kindly leaves it there rather than stealing it.

I like when they actually sit on the floor like this to play, not least of all because then they’re actually facing the television properly!







Gabriel’s a night owl, so he often wakes up in the night to hang around. He left a bouquet of roses for Paloma after a home date they had, and then played some computer and gave Adela a midnight feeding and snuggle.









I sent Gabriel off to do some work at The Orange Zone while Paloma stayed home with Adela. He added on a new area to the front of the business, originally with this awesome oxygen machine but unfortunately it was glitchy for me so I swapped it for a bubble machine instead. The customers loved it!



The cat toy budget in this house is through the roof - Miso goes through about one a day.



Whitney came over, and Paloma gave talking about grilled cheese with her a shot.





She didn’t exactly look enthusiastic, but she listened, so that was good enough for P!











Paloma got Whitney to play some football toss with her, but she got a little overexcited. Also so cute seeing them play in this yard together now as adults just like they did when they were kids!



I’m not sure what Paloma’s deal is, but every time I tell her to take a shower she gives me this look. She’s not even sloppy or lazy either! (I realized later that she is hydrophobic!!)







Gabriel meanwhile LOVES bubble baths. Every time he comes home from being out somewhere, he hops straight into the tub autonomously.





Whitney played on their computer while Paloma and Gabriel snuck off for… activities…







Miso picked a fight with the town werewolf, but unfortunately his mouth is writing cheques his claws can’t cash…



Miso’s on babysitting duty tonight!





Not sure why Gabriel came rushing in to lecture Paloma about something, but he must have felt bad cause he started sucking up right after.







Dave comes by with the hot gossip, and apparently it’s about… the Park family’s recently dead dog? Huh?

Paloma invited over her parents again, and they were just standing around and happened to all be lined up nicely posed like this, so I had to snap a pic. Looks like it’s for their album cover.





Miso is his usual warm and welcoming self!





Poor Noah was so scared!



Gabriel tried to scold him but it probably won’t help much.







Time for a birthday for little Adela… the end of babyhood and on to toddler time…







Adela is a toddler now! And such a little cutie!



I couldn’t believe how much she looks like her mom Paloma did as a toddler, she’s her little clone! The bottom picture is Paloma as a toddler on the left, Adela on the right, and in the middle is Adela if she had the same hair as Paloma did so the comparison is even more direct.
So now I am soo curious if she’ll continue looking like her mom through the rest of her life… we will seeeee!

So many new things to explore and learn! And to lose interest in learning!









Gabriel probably has the best job in Brightmaple - spend some time harassing prospective customers (and gain a new sales technique in the bargain), play some video games and blow some bubbles!

Wrapping up the Blondeau-Dias round… Miso continues to go through cat toys like tissues.





Paloma and Gabriel are either discussing the baby they have… or another one? It might have been another one because they tried for baby right after, but alas, no chimes!





The night ended out and so did their round for now. :)
