Round Fourteen - Flores

Last Round (in the Silva-Flores household) - They got a chinchilla named Herman. Mia became an adult, and rekindled her teenage romance with Carla. Gloria also had a birthday and became an adult too! She moved out at the end of the round to her own place, and later in the round when it was Carla's turn, Mia moved in with her.
So I was certain that these stairs were not pet friendly because none would seem to use them, but apparently not? Or was it only dogs who can't, if that's possible? Did some mod conflict get removed or neutralized somehow? Mysteries of this game...
Aaanyways, it's Gloria's first round out on her own now as an adult - our fourth exchange student in Brightmaple helping to expand our population! As a reminder her primary aspiration is Knowledge A (good scientist) and her secondary was assigned as Romance A (serial romancer). So that's an interesting combo! Too busy learning to settle for one lover?
First off, Gloria's on a mission.
To get a furry companion! Meet Clover! She's a husky. I tweaked the Maxis archetype to make her look more husky like in my eyes.
Bonding with her new dog with a game of fetch! Training needs to start soon. Absolutely without fail, every single pet that is purchased from this store immediately zoomies around, then goes outside and starts destroying the flower beds.
Clover tried to scam Emilia for some treats, but only got a pat instead.
Back home, Gloria obviously had to get Clover a bed that matched her XD
Time to chill on the couch and watch some TV for a bit.
But before long she does want to get out and do something, because she keeps rolling dating type wants. So she heads over to the new Glass House Restaurant in town to see who's around.
The first guy that caught her eye here (after I gave him a quick sidewalk makeover and a new name anyways) is Nolan here. They hit it off pretty quick so Gloria wasted no time and asked him on a date right then.
They got seated at a corner table to get something to eat.
Two bolts is pretty good!
Both were in dessert moods apparently, and Gloria tried his baked Alaska.
A very bold move on a first date sir.
But it seemed to work out!
Then she tried to kiss him while they were dancing and he resisted. Talk about mixed signals?
Do you want this or not??? Maybe he likes to take the lead...
Ordering some drinks at the bar.
Back at the house, Clover is singing along to the music outside while neighbour Alice Park is dancing.
Then she heads inside for a bit to watch the TV that was left on. She definitely knows how to keep herself entertained!
Time for a nap on her bed twin.
But on second thought, maybe mom's bed is better...
The next day, Nolan calls her up and asks her on another date, so she agrees to meet up with him!
Today they went to the brewery.
Crumplebottom sighting! But it's a bar so that only makes sense.
She does love her cocktails. I've actually never seen her attack anyone for PDA, but I've seen her order countless drinks.
Back at the home lot, Alice has given one of their apartment neighbours his first kiss apparently!
Time to eat!
And, time to get cracking on making some money! We have big plans for Gloria's business ventures to come.

But for now, it's time to work! Welcome to Gloria's shop and the newest business in Brightmaple, this is Little Shop of Flowers!
I only gave her enough money to stock just about half of the current floor space for now, just to get her going.
She's also got a florists bench here to make some specialty items to sell too.
Emily Lewis is our first customer!
The business ranks up very quickly, on the first day! A great sign.
At home, the weird neighbours are sitting outside in the snow with the landlord.
Another day, another Simoleon! Gloria is back to work and there's plenty of interested customers here.

Nolan calls again for a date!
Third time's a charm, they fell in love! They are at the Japanese restaurant tonight. After a round of sake, they felt brave enough to try the karaoke.
It was.... a little off key. But cute!
No wants for anything serious or even specific with Nolan, but she's got this fear? So maybe it's like there's part of her that wants to be with him, but she's got a fear of committing because she's afraid it could go wrong. In any case, we'll see where this budding relationship goes.
Because she does also have these wants. so settling down isn't entirely front and centre in her mind.
But, we'll have to wait and see because that's it for her round this time!
