Round Sixteen - Retirement Home

Last Round:
Retirement Home - Angelie and Joanna Harrison and Michael and Beatriz Silva were our first residents of the retirement home. They spent a lot of time enjoying the activity centre together. Everyone worked on their hobbies a lot, especially Joanna who eventually maxed her nature hobby enthusiasm. Beatriz beat the Grim reaper for a third time! However when he came back a fourth time, she finally passed away. Then Grim tried to take Michael too, but it was his turn to beat him and live to see another round!
Blondeau-Dias - Gabriel and Paloma put mahjong in Adela's old room and played it a lot. They booked a trip and flew off to Coconut Cove for a vacation! Paloma worked on learning fire dancing and they spent lots of time at the beach and seeing the sights. The trip took up pretty well their whole round so not much else happened!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
As you can see above, Paloma and Gabriel have joined the gang over at the retirement home now, so there are three households living together in this lot now!
The Harrisons - Angelie is the elder daughter of founders Dahlia and Sawyer Harrison, with one sister, Marina (now Rossi). Angelie married townie Joanna and they had two kids, Starla and Theo. They have a niece, Veronica Rossi, and Marco Rossi is Angelie's brother in law. They have a son in law, Starla's partner Travis.
The Silvas - Beatriz joined Brightmaple in round one as a teenage exchange student, hosted by Dahlia and Sawyer Harrison. Beatriz married townie Michael and they had one daughter, Mia - she's now married to Carla (née Georgison) who gave them two granddaughters, Savannah and Isobel. Sadly Beatriz passed away last round.
The Blondeau-Diases - Paloma is the oldest child of founder Ines Blondeau and her husband Noah. She has two younger siblings, Estelle and Isaac, and five nieces and nephews (Chandler, Anya, Sabine, Marceline and Clementine). Gabriel joined Brightmaple as a teenage exchange student and lived with the Park family (Kira, Ryan, Simon, Alice and Winnie). Paloma and Gabriel got together pretty well as soon as she aged up to adult, and although they've never married they had one daughter together, Adela Blondeau-Dias. Adela produced their granddaughter (and first gen 4 Sim), Mickey!
Duchess is here settling in to the new digs!
Michael wakes up late, as he's always liked to do.
Everyone is stirring.
Paloma and Gabriel headed right to their mahjong table, which they brought with them.

Gabriel is also a garden enthusiast so he's got a little plot out here for himself too!

Paloma and Michael are bonding over a shared love of sports.

Lots of common interests between the residents here - for Paloma and Angelie, it's a shared love of grilled cheese! Both of them have it as their secondary.
And Gabriel and Joanna chat about nature of course.

Just thought I'd pull back and show you how truly massive this lot is to play! It's not as hectic as you'd think though, it's so fun to play, even with all three "lots" filled.

Michael went out today to meet his granddaughter Savannah and his daughter Mia at the splash park!
It's a beautiful summer day!
Michael gets on the grill to make hot dogs.
I love his relationship with his granddaughter so much T_T
I also did NOT realise before that grown ups can play in the splash park stuff too which is sooo cute!
TThey had a really wholesome and wonderful day as a family!
Back at the home lot, time for a tour of Gabriel and Paloma's apartment!

Just then her niece Anya wanders by, and Paloma's excited to greet her!
These two snuck off...
Simon also appeared, probably to see Gabriel but maybe Paloma too, they have had a bit of a history..... complicated history. That's your best friend's girl! And you're married too! I have to pay close attention when they're around each other...
Gabriel and Joanna went off on a hike together, but brought back some uninvited guests.
I hope they're cleaning this hot tub regularly!
They gathered at Gabriel and Paloma's place tonight, and Joanna was nice enough to fix their sink for them.
Angelie got a CleanBot made, and it's always zooming all over this huge lot all the time. Three households to clean up after is no small task!

Today was very much a hobby day!

Another evening where everyone gathers at Gabriel and Paloma's. Michael is telling a very animated story!
Joanna is having a bubble bath instead of socializing.
Paloma's brother Isaac dropped by tonight!
And then so did Angelie and Joanna's daughter Starla!
And then so did Grim :|
This scene is so chaotic it looks like a baroque painting!
Sadly this time, it was truly Michael's time to go!
Don't worry about little Herman though, Gabriel and Paloma are taking over his care and feeding now!
