Round Eighteen - Lewis

Last Round - Zachary was still dating Naseem but not seeming serious about her. He bumped into Veronica Rossi downtown and they reconnected and there was chemistry there! Zachary took over ownership of Lewis Appliance & Repair from Emily and Jay. Zachary went out with Veronica and things quickly progressed for them, so he broke up with Naseem. A burglar came in the night, followed by a house fire. Then all the parents met each other, and at the end of that evening Zachary proposed to Veronica!
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Emily is the third child of founders Joshua and Roxanne Lewis. Her older siblings are Whitney and Xander. She got together with Jay Gill on her very first day as an adult and they started having kids (son Zachary and daughter Nora) rather quickly, but they didn't actually get married until both their kids were a bit older! Zachary and Nora's cousins are the Perry kids (Sabrina, Jamie and Cameron) and Jasmine Dionne.
Cookie is as always greeting her pal in the mirror at the start of the round! But she'd also really like mom and dad to wake up and play with her.
Understimulated, she resorts to drastic measures.

Jay heads to the salon to get a subtle makeover!
Next stop is their niece Sabrina's clothing store. New outfits for the season, plus a couple extra things we'll see later!
Jay worked on his car a bit.
They invited their kids over, and this family is so naturally wholesome! Everyone giving hugs and family kisses!
I missed getting a picture but I even swear I saw Emily give her daughter in law Veronica a little family kiss type of peck? Which wasn't even an option I could choose when I clicked on her because they're not related/relationship is too low. Like I said, naturally wholesome!
Then everyone started autonomously appreciating each other too. They're giving me a toothache!
Everyone had a nice visit for a while before Emily made some dinner.
Cookie was excited to see everyone again!
The next morning they are all packed, and headed off for a tropical vacation!
They rented a cottage on the beach - first task is building a sandcastle!
A little abstract, but not bad!
They have a meal at the boardwalk.
Jay snaps a picture of Emily on his phone! I have to remember to order a copy of this photo (and buy them a computer too I guess!)
That night Jay prepares their dinner at the cottage.
Emily enjoys the view of the evening sky from the hammock.
And a little snooze!
Relaxation is top of mind today for Jay! Sauna and massage!
Emily is feeling more in an adventurous mood.

Today they went to this beach lot, but the weather wasn't so great. They mostly hung out under these pagodas on the couches.
Lots of other Sims joined them though so they got to know some of the locals and other tourists.

Tonight's dinner is at a fancier destination, The Banana Grove!
A traffic jam in the doorway when they're trying to leave, because the tropical Charlatan is accosting a local.
Before they head home, they take a last dip in the ocean and build one more sandcastle together.
Home sweet home!
Cookie is happy they're home!
Dev stopped by to see how the trip was (I forget Emily and him are best friends!).
Jay gives him an account of the trip as well!
Cookie makes a little doggie friend in the night, and that's it for their round!
