Round Eighteen - Webb-Ainsworth

Last Round - Callum became grilled cheese obsessed for the round. Callum and Hollie were continuing to openly date outside the marriage, with their dates hanging around the home more often than not. Leah started autonomously flirting with Travis, which he was receptive to, risking the wrath of his evil witch girlfriend Starla. Hollie asked the genie for a longer life. Leah was working hard at the salon.
Who's Who in the Zoo?
Founder Geneva Crosby married townie Daniel Ainsworth, and together they had one daughter, Hollie. She got together with Callum and in the midst of their rollercoaster relationship, they also had one daughter, Leah. Hollie and Leah may both have been only children, but there is a large extended family here - Hollie's first cousins are all the Crosby kids through Drew (Oliver, Connor, Melena and Louise) and so all of their kids are also some degree of cousin too (Luca, Paolo, Sloane, Felix and Ronin).

It's off to the salon for Leah this morning, let's see who's lucky and who's not!

Eating on the patio in the winter - yes, it's cold!
Messy eater Meatball! He was game generated in the pet adoption menu and has to win the prize for goofiest looking dog ever. I can't even begin to guess what kind of dog he's supposed to be. He was named as a puppy, but Meatball sure does suit him.
Hollie has one of her boytoys over - and in fact, this is the very same boytoy who precipitated one of Callum and Hollie's greatest relationship crises, before they decided to give up on monogamy. (Please ignore that said boytoy has not aged, I don't like aging my townies up ok!! They exist outside of time until they're playables...)
Speaking of townies, Leah still wants to be friends with Matt who she met at the salon last round, and with whom she had quite good chemistry, so she gave him a call.

Today Hollie and Leah went on a mother-daughter date! The first stop was the clothing store.
I had a vision for a new look for Hollie! Sort of a glamorous cougar type of vibe, soap opera siren/Chandler Bing's mom. This sweater was so perfect for her. I'm losing count of how many Sims I've put in those pants too.

Next they went to the Glass House Restaurant for lunch!
Of course Hollie couldn't help but cast her eye about for attractive potential new boytoys, and this guy fit the bill exactly.
She worked her charms quite effectively.
Back home and left to his own devices, Callum also called up a lady friend.
They had a great time :)
Later on in the hot tub they had a nice chat about their various conquests lol

Relaxed evening at home with the family.
Nancy showed up in the night to leave an extravagant gift.
Meghan was made manager!
And Gloria got a new look, her hair grew out a bit! I think it looks so good on her!
Leah heads downtown after work to the brewery, and reassures Emily that her makeup looks very becoming!
She called up Matt to see if he wanted to meet her there!
They had a fun time dancing and playing darts.
Hmm, he's pretty cute!
She puts the moves on him a bit, and it doesn't take much!
They take the party elsewhere, so they can grab a bite to eat.
Slightly awkwardly, her first woohoo guy from last round is seated at the very next table.
They got up to the karaoke machine after dinner.
They really belted it out!
What an interesting want for him to have :)
These two are such old marrieds now, it's kind of adorable.
While Leah was out on the town with Matt, Hollie and Callum decided to invite a couple of their would-be lovers over to socialize that evening. Callum decided to invite Marina Rossi! A couple rounds ago we saw her letting her serial romancer secondary out to play a little, so I thought she might be a good candidate here.
Simon was not invited but did in fact crash the party with impeccable timing - he hasn't let his own serial romancer side out to play almost at all since he decided to settle down with Alyssa after sowing his wild oats for a while. And him and Hollie do have some history.
Who Hollie actually invited was Jacques from the restaurant. He has such a surfer dude vibe that I love, especially with that shirt.
Everybody was having a great time and putting on the moves.
Simon was the fifth wheel but he didn't seem to mind!
Later on in the evening, they upped the ante with this keg that gets Sims drunk - I'd not tried it out yet in my game!
It did send Hollie running straight for the toilet....
And Callum to an early bed. Guess they're not as young as they once were!

Last round Callum had the grilled cheese aspiration, which I moved to his secondary afterwards, but I decided he was ready to fully let go of that obsession and restored his previous aspirations entirely. Back to serial romancer/hard worker. Hard worker at what? Who knows! The man has actually never worked a day in his life. I guess the occasional financial consulting online was enough.
He works hard at serenading though!

Marina called for Callum after the party the other night :)
Matt and Callum are getting along famously.
She's really smitten!
Hollie's latest guy also calls for her this evening!
They head out to enjoy the hot tub in the cold winter air.
Callum and Hollie retire to the bedroom to give them some privacy.
Which they take full advantage of :)
Despite the hot tub and the woohoo, Matt ends up a bit frost bitten when Leah decides to ask him to move in - he accepts!
Snug as a bug in a rug!
The next morning, Matt finds that he also has quite a liking for music & dance, just like Leah and Hollie - he fits right in here! I haven't quite decided what his subhobby will be yet, I don't know if ballet will also be his thing.

Hollie calls up Estelle to fill her in on all the latest details.

Matt gets down on one knee to propose to Leah, like he's wanted to do for a while!
Of course, she accepts!
It's time for these two to strike out on their own! Callum waves goodbye as Leah heads out the door to the waiting taxi.
It's just these two now in this big old house. It seems almost silly to keep them here on their own, but on the other hand it took ages to decorate so it would seem a shame to leave it behind. That will be a decision for the next round!
Meantime, Matt and Leah have purchased this house which I'm excited to finally have someone living in! And let's meet Matt too!
